When I got home, I texted one of the girls I met during Magcon, Emily. You guys might remember her. She fainted in the crowd and I stayed with her. We clicked and it was easy for anyone to see that we'd get along pretty well. We had a lot in common and I could tell we'd be great friends.

As soon as I finished unpacking and getting everything in the washing machine, I called Jenna and told her I was going to the recording studio. I kept replaying the melodies for the songs in my head so I wouldn't forget them.

I took a quick shower, put my hair in a messy bun, skipped the make up, and got dressed. I wore a pair of black legings, despite the hot weather because I knew the studio would be freezing cold, a Carter Reynolds shirt, and a pair of flip flops.

I drove to the recording studio and Jenna was there. I smiled and hugged her.

"Hey Jenna" I smiled.

"Hey Hailey" She smiled back and we walked into the studio.

"Before I record I wanted to ask something" I said as we sat down.

"Shoot."

"I wanna start my own charity" I said.

"That's great! What do you want it to be for?"

"Kids who get bullied. I want them to have a place to come to if they're feeling down. I want there to be someone who they can talk to, you know?"

"So whats the money going to go to? To build a place for them and hire people to talk to?" Jenna asked, writing down my ideas. I nodded.

"I want it to feel like a safe place for them, somewhere they can be themselves and not feel pressured. So I'm thinking maybe a building with a bunch of stuff teens like, since bullying mostly happens with teens. There should be a library, because I know how teens like reading, but not any boring bull crap like at school, good books. And a place for kids to just talk and make new friends who have the same experiences as them" I said.

"I'm very impressed, Hailey" Jenna smiled at me proudly. "You're changing, but it's definitely for the better."

"Thank you Jenna" I smiled.

"I'll work out the details for the charity and inform everyone. The press will be on this like zombies on human flesh. Be ready. You'll be in the public eye now more than ever."

"Okay I'll be ready, and nice simile" I laughed.

"It's what I do" She laughed.

We began recording the songs, and first we recorded the one I was most excited about. Since we needed a guy for the rap part, and French Montana was in studio 3, we went to him and asked if he could do the rap part. He was all for it and happy to work with me.

We recorded the second song, called Showers, that was about Jack G, obviously. (A/N all credit to Becky G.)

When we finished, I went home and got ready to go out with Trevor, Jc, and their girlfriends, who I'd soon be meeting. I couldn't bring Jack G, since he was in Omaha, so I decided to bring Andrew Lowe, one of my best friends who you guys already know, since we're both in the Sexy Six clique.

I showered, blow dried and curled my hair, did my make up using eyeliner and lipstick, and got dressed. (A/N I'll post it on IG.) (@themakeover_fanfiction).

As I finished getting ready, I checked my phone and saw that I had two new texts.

From: Andrew

I'll be at your house in like 30 minutes, I broke a glass flower vase and I have to clean it up and finish getting ready

To: Andrew

I don't even wanna ask what you were doing when you broke it...

I then checked the other text.

From: Matthew Espinosa

I need to tell you something really important...

My breathing hitched in my throat as I knew what he wanted to tell me.

Just then, my phone started ringing. It was Matt.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hailey, h-hey. It's Matt" I could hear the nervousness in his voice. I quickly calmed down, even though I was freaking out inside.

"Oh hey, what's up?" Being an actress has it's perks, like being able to lie better than the average bear. Well human, but people say bear sometimes which I don't understand because we're not even bears and-

"Are you listening?" Whoops. Guess I zoned out.

"Oh yeah sorry. What did you need to tell me?" I asked.

"I think I still like you..... and I know you're dating Gilinsky but I needed to tell you because keeping it from you would be wrong."

"I thought you liked that Bobby girl?" I said, accidental annoyance hinted in my voice.

"Are you jealous?" I could hear his smirk through the phone. I rolled my eyes.

"No I'm not jealous, Matthew. I have Jack. Is that all you wanted to tell me?"

"Yeah that's it. I just didn't know how you'd take it..." Matt sighed.

"Well I took it just fine." I said. "But know that this changes nothing between us. I'm with Jack."

"Okay well see ya later" He awkwardly said.

"Goodbye Matthew" I said, hanging up. I sighed and rubbed my temple, pacing the room. I already knew this information, so why was I so.... nervous and anxious?

Just then, I heard a car beep from outside. I walked over to my widow to see Andrews car parked in the driveway. I went downstairs, told my mom I was leaving, and went outside.

"About time" Andrew laughed as I hopped in the passengers seat, shutting the door and putting my seatbelt on.

"Well being this beautiful it takes time" I said, flipping my hair over my shoulder. Andrew gave me a playful rude look.

"Don't even" He said. I laughed loudly and turned on the radio, hearing the same old songs they play on the radio. I sighed and used Andrews cord to plug my phone in, playing Christians Inferno by Green Day.

"I hate that you listen to this music. Why not normal music like Nicki Minaj and like Drake and Rihanna I don't know" Andrew said. I raised my eyebrows.

"Normal music? I listen to like all types of music, but I prefer rock and pop punk and heavy metal over rap."

"Your music sucks. Why do you like the music that screams?" Andrew said.

"I don't know, why do you listen to the music that talks?" I retorted. He paused.

"True" He said. We both laughed and he pulled into the restaurant we were meeting at.

We walked into the restaurant and Jc, Trevor, and two girls were already there. I couldn't believe what I saw... it was Kenzie... from my dream! My jaw almost dropped but I took a breath and calmly walked over.

"Hi" I smiled widely as both boys got up and hugged me.

"Jesus Hails, you're gettin' light on me. You need to fatten up" Jc laughed.

"Thank you for what I think was a compliment" I laughed as I sat down next to Trevor, and Andrew sat on the other side of me.

"Hailey, this is my girlfriend, Kenzie" Trevor said.

"Hi, I'm Hailey" I smiled at her.

"Hi I'm Kenzie" She smiled.

"This is my girlfriend Lia" Jc smiled. She was in my dream as well, but I knew who she was. She's famous.

"I know who you are! You're on Awesomeness TV!" I smiled. "I'm Hailey."

"Oh my god I can't believe you know who I am" She smiled. "I'm Lia."

We all talked and got to know each other until the waitress came and took our orders. I ordered a pink lemonade and everyone else got their drinks.

"I can take your orders too if you're all ready" The waitress said.

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and French fries, since that's what I always order at restaurants.

"So what's your favorite show?" Lia asked me.

"The Walking Dead" I said.

"Oh cool I love that show! Who's your favorite character?"

"Carl or Rick. Carl because he's so young but so bad ass, and Rick because he's sexy as hell." We all laughed at my answer.

"I like Daryl" Lia said.

"I gotta agree, Daryl's pretty bad ass" Jc said.

"I like Michonne too" I said.

"You know who I hate? Beth. I really don't like her. I don't know why, I just do" I said.

"Same preach it" Kenzie said. I laughed and we high fived.

Kenzie, Lia, and I exchanged numbers and I went home.

I went in my bathroom and as I was taking off my make up, I looked at my arms. The scars that were once so deep, now were barely visible to the human eye. I've come so far. I haven't been depressed in so long. It feels amazing.

I decided to go for a run, despite it being 11pm.

I changed into some running clothes and slipped on my sneakers, heading outside and putting my headphones in. I played one of my favorite songs. To Build A Home by The Cinematic Orchestra.

Okay so the last part of this chapter was an experience that happened to me. What I mean is, I haven't cut in five months and I'm becoming more and more proud of myself everyday for overcoming the demons and the sadness. I did it.

The song she played during her run is my favorite song ever. I listen to it when I'm happy, when I'm sad, when I'm mad. All the time.
