Someone I know

builds a fire

which gives out smoke

The someone drinks a coke

and is completely broke

He has the fortune of good luck stroke

finding a lottery ticket

in the fire he stokes

He has now many notes

and yacht boats

full of greedy gloat

his ego goes around float

want to kick him down the moat

wearing his oversized coat

That someone who was broke

is now not a nice bloke.

plays games of dagger and cloaks

only money croaks

Honesty went down for a soak

throttled at the throat

by the greedy bloke

wearing the oversized coat.
