Kariya: Ariel joke again? *sighs* Seriously..

Tenma: That's not what I'm supposed to say, Kariya-kun! *pouts*

Luna: Prepare for my revenge, Tsurugi-kun~ *has a creepy wide smile*

"TENMA MATSUKAZE!" I yelled at the other side of the door, banging at his door so hard that I'm sure I might destroy it if I constantly throw my fist on the wooden structure. "WAKE UP! WE'RE LATE FOR YOUR MORNING SOCCER PRACTICE!"

Right now, it's 8:00 in the morning and I just woke up 30 minutes ago, realizing the situation I'm in. Yeah, you get the idea. Today is Saturday, so that means there is no school (and because it's summer, duh.) and we need to get to the fields early at 6:30. Don't blame me; that annoying cousin of mine is being the adorable guy he is and insisted to watch his favorite series with me in the middle of the night.

Yes, Tenma Matsukaze is my cousin, although my name is (f/n) (m/n) (l/n), I'm half-Japanese and half-(custom). My mother and Tenma's father are both siblings (and very close for that matter) so that makes me and Tenma closer as my other sibling and childhood friend as well.

Enough chit-chatting, what the heck is Tenma doing in his room? Did he even hear me?

Sighing, I knocked again; this time plummeting both my fists and yelling in maximum volume which made me look like a lunatic trapped in an asylum, and I'm sure my voice is echoing around the house, but whatever. "TENMA! WAKE UP! OR ELSE I'M LEAVING YOU!" I continued to shout and at that moment, I heard a metallic sound clashing and a shriek as well at the end of the hallways. I winced; I must have surprised Aki-nee at my constraint failures in an attempt to wake my cousin. Normally, she would wake Tenma but I insisted to do it. I really like waking Tenma because of his reaction.

"I'm up! I'm up!" Came his muffled voice and some shuffling of fabrics then a soft thud as well. (See? Just like that.) I sweat-dropped since I can picture himself in my mind and waited for him for 10 minutes. It's fine for me since he's pretty fast to take a shower and dress up, but the problem is; I'm very impatient. When I had enough, I barreled in his room without even knocking. "Wait! (F/n)-chan! Don't go-!" I avoided his shrills. It's not even locked at all! If only I learned of this sooner, I wouldn't have made a fool of myself, banging and screaming murder. Right as I was about to give him a piece of my mind, my mind went blank. My face flushed in embarrassment.

There in front of me is none other than Tenma himself but the point is... He's half-naked and semi-wet with a towel wrapped around his waist. He looked as if he just gotten himself out of the bathroom and he's flushing beet red. I scanned him (like I've said, my mind completely blanked off!); woah, who would ever thought that this adorable cousin/captain of Raimon has some nice build - wait, WHAT THE HELL?!

"(F)-(f)-(f/n)-chan?" He gulped and I trembled in such embarrassment. Then finally, I responded.

Screamed, actually.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Yep, late reaction.

"TENMA! You're late!" Shindou-senpai ran over us with a stern expression. "We've been waiting for you-? Tenma! What happened to your face? There's a nasty bruise in your forehead." He exclaimed, very worried. I hang my head low in embarrassment and guilt as the team went to us. I gulped; oh my gods, please kill me now.

After that walked-in incident, I reacted - by throwing my cellphone on his forehead. I was not to, okay?! It's from sheer shock and embarrassment! And the fact that I'm a goalkeeper in my school did not help at all!

I heard Tenma titter and I can picture him scratching his nape off in sheer embarrassment. "Just got a morning incident, Shindou-senpai." Then he patted my head, soothing me - only to make things worst. "It's alright, (f/n)-chan. You just reacted, it's not your fault."

I looked at him quickly, tears prickling. "But- but-!" Without letting me finish, he hugged me.

"Hey, it's fine! Don't worry; I'm fine. I assure you; it's nothing!"

I choked, guilt clawing inside me torrentially. "I.. I..." When he squeezed me again, I sighed weakly. "F-fine. B-but I owe you for this! Order me something, and I'm willingly to do it!" I released from his hug. He was about to decline when I glared at him. "I insist! Do not take this from me."

"I.." His shoulders slouched in defeat. "Alright then."

I smiled widely, quickly changing my expression. I beamed. "Yosh! Then go, order me something!"

At my other side, I heard Manabe muttering. "More like demanding." I glared at him and he jumped and hid behind Minaho.

"Oh, since that's settled. Let's start, minna!" Shindou-senpai said, not before giving Tenma and I a glance as he and the team scrambled away, leaving the both of us - meaning: me and Tenma.

"So uh.." He looked at me, now quite knowing what to do. "What should I do?"

I giggled, much to his embarrassment. "Okay, first things first, let me take your bag and you can go practice with the others." He smiled and handed me his bag.

"Take good care of it then. Or else I'm fining you 1000 yens." He joked and I playfully glared at him.

"Just go and leave me already." I told him and he laughed, running away from me. I sighed, shaking my head at my cousin's antics, but smiled and walked towards to the three managers who are waiting for me.

"What took you and Tenma so long." Aoi asked as I placed Tenma's bag beside me and I sat down. I smirked at her and she looked at me, narrowing her eyes, knowing what I'm scheming of.

"Aoi, for the last time, me and Tenma aren't dating. We're cousins after all." I feigned an exhausted look and she blushed profusely. The two managers giggled at Aoi's embarrassed face. Yep, Aoi has a crush on my cousin - MAJOR actually. It has been for 6 months already. And I kept on teasing her about it and I totally ship them! They're just too cute to be an item! And I would like Aoi to be my sister-in-law in the future!

"Wha-? (F/n)!" She whined and I sticked my tongue at her.

"It's not my fault that you're head over heels with my cousin."

"I can't help it!" She said. She covered her face with her hands and moaned. "He's just so... Argh! Stupid!" We laughed at her. Man, she really IS deep in love with Tenma.

"Aww, calm down Aoi!" Midori patted her back and grinned. "If you don't mind, you can have Tsurugi and-!"

"No!" Aoi replied instantly, and removed her hands from her face to look at us. We laughed again. "I had enough from Tsurugi! I am done with him." I grinned. Aoi used to have a crush on that ace striker but subsided quickly for 2 weeks, after learning that she was having weird feelings whenever she's with Tenma. "Besides, (f/n)-chan can have him. They look cute." We laughed again but when I heard her statement, I stopped and immediately shrieked.

"No! Why would I be with that guy?! He's not even my type!" I fussed. Aoi's lips curled up.

"What?" Midori chuckled. "Oh quit it. You like him!"

"What?! No! Why would I like that pathetic ace striker?!" I demanded, face flushing beet red. Why are they siding with each other?! This is so unfair!

"You admitted it last time." Akane butted in, taking a photo of me.

"And when did I say that?" I exclaimed, exhausted. "And when on Earth did you come up with that conclusion?!"

"Hm... Let's see." Aoi paused, then she snapped her fingers. "Ah! It happened 4 months ago at exactly 2:57 before our dismissal time." I looked at her, very surprised. This girl is really good in remembering things, isn't she? The perks of being in the calligraphy club. "You waited for Tenma outside the school compounds and I was being excused by our sensei to send some books at the office at that time and I kind of crashed onto you, remember?"

I blinked, trying to recall if ever that happened. Then I nodded, remember bits of it, but not that much. Aoi continued. "Then you lend me a help and I happily obliged as we walked towards the path of the office. And the moment we entered, we saw Tsurugi standing there with his face focused on his phone."

Still trying to remember some of it, she smiled knowingly at me and that's when I knew the climax is showing. "He was absent at that time and at that same minute, he decided to visit the administrator to discuss about something. When you were about to pass by him, ignoring him and pretending as if you never saw him at all like you usually do, he offered help by laying out his hand in front of you. You even stammered and blushed!" She gushes and my eyes twitched.

"It's not fated to happen at all! I just got caught in the moment!" I tried to reason them but they shook their head in unison.

"Yeah right, got caught in the moment with your dark knight." Midori teases. I blushed furiously.

"Minna!" I whined, no longer have the power to defy. Fine, I'll admit, I have a teeny bit crush on him.. Actually, a lot. There, I said it! I groaned. I give up. Let me die in peace, please.

"Alright, alright. We'll stop." They chuckled and I puffed my cheeks at them. Grinning, Midori proceeded to watch, then she blinked; having that pondering look on her face. She averted her gaze to us and pointed her thumb at the field.

"Uh... Mind telling me why Tsurugi is just standing there and staring at the goalpost?"

I blinked and we looked at what Midori was pointing. I blushed a bit at the sight of him. I shook my head. Geez, my girlfriends are right. I indeed have a crush at that ace striker. How come I haven't realized it yet?

"(F/n)!" Snapping away from my dreamless trance, my eyes shifted to my cousin. He trudged over to me and I gave Aoi a teasing nudge. She gave me a flustered glare in my peripheral vision and I snickered, before facing my cousin.

"What is it, Tenma?" Smiling, I moved a bit farther away from Aoi and patted the seat beside me. I almost laughed when I saw Aoi flushing so hard at the thought of her crush sitting beside her. Tenma smiled gratefully and sat beside me, giving Aoi a sincere smile - which she responded back with a smile and some pink tints on her cheeks - before looking at me. Woah, is my cousin really that dense? How sad, but that's okay! At least I accomplished my mission.

"Nice!" Midori's eyes used to say and I smirked knowingly at the other two managers, and they gave thumb-ups at me. As for Aoi... She's hanging her head low, avoiding our teasing winks and glance.

"Can you do me a favor?" He asks and my eyes twinkled at his first request. Finally! I can repay him after that incident a while ago.

"Yes! Of course! What is it that you want, Tenma?" I excitedly ask. He laughed.

"Well, can you be a goalkeeper for a while?" He queried. I blinked and he took this as a sign to continue. "We-well, Shinsuke was being called by his aunt and has to leave immediately and as for Sangoku-senpai, he's called absent today since he caught a flu yesterday and Ibuki-san was excused by Endou-kantoku to discuss something and it was like 12 minutes ago." He said in one breath and clasped both his hands and pleaded. "Please (f/n)! Please be our goalkeeper! Everyone wanted to see your moves!"

"I.." I sighed and looked at him. "well, I promised you, didn't I? Very well then. I'll happily accept your request, Tenma." He straightened himself and his smile widened with sparkles and rainbows. I sweat dropped.

"Yosh! You heard that minna?! (F/n) is playing!" Standing from his seat, he cheerily raised a fist upwards the sky. "This is the best day ever!" I giggled and almost yelped when he took me by the arm and dashed off - not before giving Aoi a hug. I looked back and gave Aoi a wink then snickered when the two managers nudged her.

"Calm down Tenma!" I said, laughing. He sticked his tongue out.

"Never!" I laughed then froze when a name shoot off his lips which I'm perfectly avoiding of. "Hey, Tsurugi! You can now practice with (f/n)-chan alone!"

"Wait what?!" I yelled, and he grinned at me mischievously. This sneaky adorable cousin of mine. How on Earth did he discover of my crush for Tsurugi? I haven't even told him yet! Why I'm gonna-! "I never agreed to this!"

"You accepted it!" He retorted back.

"Which is a mistake!" I continued for him.

He laughed and released me when we're already standing on the fields. "No choice, (f/n)! You'll be Tsurugi's goalkeeper since he is performing a new hissatsu technique!"

"What about you guys?" I whined. "Tsurugi can't have me all by himself!"

"Well, he just did." Tenma deadpanned. My jaw dropped.

"What?!" Dumbfounded, I shook my head insistently. "But still! You need a goalkeeper for practice!" I quarreled back.

"Actually, we don't have to." He said, smiling. He bobbed his head over a certain direction and when I peered - yep, greatest mistake of all times. "Since Ibuki-san is ready to play as a goalkeeper for us. Luckily." He grinned and I gave him a glare. "Oh come on, don't take it seriously (f/n). At least have some fun with him."

"Fine. Fine." I crossed my arms. "Just go back to your position and I'll be on my own." I told him and smiled.

"Hai!" Then he left on my own and I sighed. Sheesh, what am I supposed to do with him? Shaking my head, I inserted my hands inside the goalkeeper gloves. As I was about to strap it in place, a deep voice toned at me.

"You're a goalkeeper?" I looked up at him and nodded sheepishly. Why is this guy so tall, seriously?

"Yeah. You have a problem with that?" I meant it as a joke but it went harsh as I never thought. I mentally winced at myself. Wrong move (f/n)! Wrong move.

He raised his brow at me. "Honestly," shaking his head, he went to his position and propped his right foot at the ball as I made my way towards the goal. I took a deep breath and made myself fierce and determined I could muster and laid my hands in front. I yelled.

"Give me your best shots!"

"I guess we're in the same terms now." Tenma chuckled as he laid an ice bag on my purple bruises painted on my palms. I winced at the numbing pain. That guy shoots like it's the end of the world! How does Shinsuke even cope up with him despite his short figure?!

"He almost blew me away, Tenma!" I said, quite frustrated that I wasn't able to protect the goal. "That powerful-excuse-of-a-Se-!"

"Am I interrupting something?" A deep voice called. Both our heads inclined at the intruder and I blushed when I realized who it was. Tenma smiled.

"Hi there, Tsurugi! And no; you're not interrupting!" Then he blinked and slapped his forehead. "Gosh, I forgot! Aoi has something to tell me!" At that, my ears perked up. Aoi? Talking to my cousin? In private? Don't tell me... "I wonder what she's going to say.." Tenma mumbled, "well, better be off then! Jaa, I'll fetch you later (f/n)! Later Tsurugi!" Then he ran away as if he's late for a meeting.

Silence crept by and I averted my face away from Tsurugi, cursing and mentally swearing at my cousin. Why did he leave me with Tsurugi? That - that- that sneaky smart aleck! He did this on a purpose! He did this!

"How are you feeling?" Tsurugi asks and sat beside me. Currently, we're both inside the school infirmary. Alone. With no nurse and a freaking Tenma to accompany us. Why does the universe hates me?! What have I done to deserve this treatment?!

"I'm fine." I smiled weakly. "Nothing to worry about."

"I see.." Tsurugi hums and after that, he did not say anything. Minutes rolled by and yet, we still sat with each other, not saying anythi- "Here." He handed me something. I looked at it. My gloves!

"You dropped it a while ago, when Tenma rushes you over here." He said, averting his gaze from me when I looked at him with my eyes widened. I never even realized... I took my gloves thankfully and hugged him, my face burning when I suddenly acted out without thinking.

"Thank you, Tsurugi." I said, still blushing. I blushed even more when he hugged me back before releasing me. He looked at me deeply and my heart hammered when he leaned in close. But what he did next sends me a dangerous bliss.

He pecked my forehead and said,

"Anything for you, (f/n)."

*EXTENDED ENDING*

"I KNEW IT!" Tenma shrieked and almost fainted when he saw the scene play in front of him. He is currently standing in front of the window, together with the other members not too far away from the couples. "I FREAKING KNEW IT! THOSE TWO SHARE THE SAME AFFECTION WITH EACH OTHER!"

"Those two," Midori grinned and shook her head. Akane took a photo of them.

"I have their picture." Akane smiled. Tenma exclaimed.

"WHY? WHY TSURUGI, WHY?! WHY HER?" He almost cried in anguish. Everyone sweat dropped at their captain's antics. Well, they can't blame him. That's his cousin after all! And the fact that his cousin is with his best friend didn't help a single bit.

Manabe sweat dropped. Why is he here? He has no idea. "Calm down captain. I'm 100% sure that Tsurugi was just being-"

"I love you (f/n)." Tsurugi whispered and I smiled.

"I love you too."

At that, Manabe froze and has his mouth open, and this time, Tenma fainted - only to be supported by Shindou and Kirino as they sweat dropped, but with a blush tinted on their cheeks after watching the scene. Kariya sighed and looked at Aoi.

"Ne Aoi-chan. How come you fell in love with this guy?" He pointed at their now fainted captain and now Aoi's boyfriend since her love is reciprocated by the latter.

Aoi giggled. "Because he's adorable." She gushes. The team groaned, cuing the two managers giggles.

Indeed, love is in the air - for the Raimon team that is.
