Intro
A man sat on a roof to a broken down building someone might call home, the landfill he found as sanctuary after being on the run and wanted for so long, it was hard to find somewhere to call safe. He wrote in a journal while he kept an ear out for any sign of danger, a blaster only a second away from his grip on his hip. Glancing up, anxiously waiting while he wrote what he needed.
"Boo!" A young voice yelled behind him and the old man didn't even flinch at the sound. He turned around relieved seeing the boy he's been waiting on.
"You'll have to do better than that Leo," the old man smiled turning around.
A young eleven year old boy stepped over to sit with the man, he had longer blonde hair that touched the back of his neck, but what stood out from his black clothes and blonde hair was his eyes. He was born with heterochromia, one eye was ocean blue while his other eye was golden yellow, many would call him a freak.
But when a man with six fingers took him in, suddenly neither of them felt like freaks anymore.
"Has the device gone off?" Leo sat side by side with his father figure.
"No, we're still safe, bill is close though, did you find what Rick left behind?" The six finger man asked closing his book.
Leo reached in his pocket and handed the man a flash drive.
"These should be the prints," Leo nodded. On the flash drive he saw a note from the owner of the device.
'Don't fuck this up stanturd' the old man read with annoyance.
"We're not meeting him in dimension x4hz again are we?" Leo asked grinning while swinging his legs.
"Absolutely not," standford rolled his eyes and put the flash drive in his watch device to download.
"Alright now I need you to stay close, you keep your eyes on me kiddo," Stanford patted his hand on the back of his kids head and Leo nodded smiling.
"Yes sir," he understood and tapped the side of his boots, Stanford jumped off the building and the child followed, his boots helped him hover down to break the fall and tapped them off quickly. The dirt they walked on was dry and red, they pulled down their goggles to protect their eyes, Stanford pulled up Leo's hood to keep him safe, Leo pulled up his own mask to cover his nose and mouth when Stanford started to do the same.
"The nightmares from bills realm are going to get close soon, so if you hear anything just keep your eyes ahead," Stanford told him sternly.
Leo nodded as they walked, Stanford handed him his hip blaster as he grabbed his own inter-dimensional rifle from behind his back.
Stanford kept an eye on the boy and noticed him twitching a little. He checked his watch and went to walk directly behind the child.
"They're coming," Leo whispered. But he kept his eyes ahead.

"Don't touch that button!" Stan's voice raised without a second thought, his hand reaching even though it couldn't reach.
The betrayal on his great niece and nephews faces made him feel sick but he needed that machine of doom to keep going. Even the confused and betrayed look on his employee Soos's face made him feel so guilty for what he's putting them through.
"Dipper.. just back away," Stan panted out of breath but slowly got closer to the twins, dippers hand hovering over the button.
"Just please don't press that shut down button you gotta trust me," he pleaded.
"And I should trust you why? After you stole radioactive waste, after you lied to us all summer!" Dipper turned to the old man infuriated.
"I don't even know who you are!"
"Look I know it looks bad, but I need that machine to stay on! I promise I can explain-" Stan's watch started to beep and the ground started to shake under their feet. Soon the world seemed like it was floating.
"Brace yourselves!" Stan warned as they lifted into the air. The doomsday machine behind them began to spin more and showed another world in the circle part, it changed into other dimensions but no one payed attention to what it showed.
They all screamed in fear and confusion when they parted in different ways from the lack of gravity and no direction.
"Dipper!" Mabel yelled for her brother fearful while her foot got caught on a wire, dipper grabbed a wooden beam to turn back to her.
"Mabel shut it down!" He cried out, he didn't want to die like this.
Mabel used the wire to climb down to the button but heard her grunkle call out to her in a panic. He wasn't angry he was just as afraid as they were but for different reasons.
"Mabel please!" Stan begged. But soos tackled the older man in defense to protect the twins now.
"Soos what are you doing I gave you an order!" Stan tried to shove the man off but he didn't budge.
"I'm sorry mr pines if that's even your real name, but I have a new mission now and that is to protect these kids!" Soos declared and stan struggled to get out of his grip, but soos bear hugged him and kept him away from the kids.
"Soos you idiot let me go!" Stan yelled back. Soon supper came in flying to help soos.
"Mabel press the red button and shut it down!" Dipper called again as he wrestled against his grunkle.
"No you can't! You gotta trust me!" Stan continued with the same pleas.
They didn't understand.
Not yet.
"Grunkle Stan, I don't even know if your my grunkle," Mabel had tears that floated up and hugged the pole to the button. Sniffling to try to keep it together even if she was failing.
"I want to believe you but-" "then listen to me, remember in the morning when I wanted to tell you something?" Stan tried to explain again. The timer announced they only had a little time left. It shook them all and sent the three wrestling against the wall .
"What I wanted to say was your going to hear some bad things about me and some are true, but trust me, everything I worked for, everything I've ever cared about has been for this family, look into my eyes Mabel do you really think I'm a bad guy?"
"T-minus 10-9-8-" the count down began.
"Grunkle Stan... I trust you," Mabel let go and floated up in front of the portal as the last second counted down.
They all screamed as the earth shook and the machine finished loading up. Lifting into the air as well.
And suddenly everything flashed brightly then went dark.
When the four began to wake again in the rubble, it was dark besides for the machine that still glowed from a distance. Dipper went to find his sister who was already sitting up and unharmed. Both relieved they were okay. Stan pushed himself up with a grunt and stared at the portal machine.
A man emerged with another person on his back, both dressed in dark clothes and their faces covered by goggles, masks to cover the lower part of their faces and a hood.
"Who.. who is that?" Dipper gulped not knowing who or what they just allowed onto their world.
"The author of the journal's, my brother," Stan looked at him just as shocked.
