Today during my violin lesson, my instructor and i were looking for some music books i can work with. the suzuki book gets old at times and, according to my instructor, i grasp it quickly.

So we were looking for books i could have some fun with.

We were scrolling through a site on her phone (i dont remember the site name, something about instrumental play alongs) and one caught my eye.

Harry Potter.

Fricking H a r r y  P o t t e r

I'm a die-hard fan of a lot of things, and Harry Potter is one of those.

So i say that i think Harry Potter might be really fun to learn and play.

So she get off the site, finds the book on Amazon, and sends the link to my dad.

She said it was her and to order the book, make sure it has the CD, etc.

I say "watch him ask me 'do you need this?'"

She texts Dad three words.

"She needs this"

So I'm laughing hard, and I mean hard.

She says "I'm gonna put the first song, 'Headwig's Theme' on your assignment this week, so you actually need it"

She gets my assignment notebook and starts writing out my assignment, first 16 measures of Hedwig's Theme at the top of the page.

This is gonna be fun
