Abby's pov

I walked into Phoenix Drop High, alone, like always. No one ever gave the girl who likes books, owls, and sweets a chance. It is my 2 month at Phoenix Drop High and I've made zero friends. 'I wonder what homeroom will be like today?' I wondered as I sat at my desk in the back.

I pulled out a book and read while I waited on everyone else to come in. I got engulfed in my book and jumped out of my seat when the bell rang. Everyone laughed and I blushed out of embarrassment.

I put my head on my desk and listen to the teacher. "Today we have a new student. His name is Vlyad Ro'Meave. He skipped a year to come to high school and used to go to our rival school O-" Before they could even finish the sporty kids had started booing.

The teacher rolled his eyes and continued introducing Vlyad. I looked up and took a glance at the kid who was standing next t the teacher. A guy with beautiful green eyes and chocolate brown hair. I started to daydream....

Till I heard my name being called"Abby!" I shook my head of my thoughts"Yes, sir!?" I asked. The teacher pointed to me "You can sit by Abby" Vlyad nodded and walked my way. 'Oh Irene... what do it do?! He's so cute!' I could feel my heart beating faster and my face heating up. I grabbed my book and hid my face. 

I could hear the class laughing at me. "Shut up all of you! Don't laugh at her!" I heard someone yell. I looked and saw Vlyad standing up for me. 'Wow... such bravery...'. I went back to reality "T-thank y-you Vlyad.." I whispered. "You're welcome" He whispered back. I smiled as I read my book.

After school, I was hanging out, alone, by one of the trees. When I heard a little'Who' from somewhere. I looked around for it and found a baby owl laying in the grass. I picked up, so it knew it was safe, and studied it

"I'm going to keep you and name you...." I started thinking of a name. Footsteps behind me named me jump, but no one laughed. I turned to see Vlyad smiling.

"That's a cute owl!" He said. I smiled"T-thank y-you! I-I'm g-going t-to k-keep I-it!" I stuttered. The owl hopped out of my hands and tried to attack Vlyad. I gently grabbed it and held it"No~ He's a good guy~" I whispered and cooed to him. "His name should be Hunter" Vlyad suggested. I thought for a second"I-i t-think I-it s-suits h-him." I took a deep breath'Come on Abby don't stutter' "May-be we could raise him together?" I suggested. He smiled even bigger"I'd love that!" He hugged me

I was shocked by the hugged by hugged back with my free hand. Hunter did a sorta owl glare towards Vlyad. Vlyad had released me from the hug"S-sorry" He scratched the back of his next"I got excited..." He finished. I giggled"Its fine!" I pulled my phone out to check the time'5:00'?! "I need to get home Vlyad! Sorry!" I wasn't thinking and gave his a peck on the check.

I ran off, leaving him blushing. As soon as I got home, I grabbed my laptop and went onto Skype. Once I logged in a video chat popped up. I clicked lighting fast. "Abby! Where were you?!" Angel yelled. "I was hanging out at school!" I responded.

"Really?! You made a friend?!" Angel's face was full of shock. I frowned"Yes I did! And it's a boy!" "A boy~?" Angel teased. "Shut up." I said. Hunter got antsy and hopped onto my laptop."Who's this cute little birdy" Angel cooed. "His name is Hunter and he was the reason I'm late!" I laughed.

"He's SO cute!!" Angel shouted. Thankfully her roommate was out  of their room. "I know!" I laughed again. "Sorry Abby, but I have to go! I wish we could talk more!" Angel waved. "Bye..." I sadly waved. "You won't be home alone for too long. I'll be home next week for Thanksgiving" She smiled. I nodded my head and she hung up.

I sighed and logged off of Skype. I leaned back in my chair and looked at a picture of Mom, Dad, Angel, and me before mom and dad died.'We were so happy and I was so little!' I laughed in my head. I looked at the picture of Angel leaving for college. '2 years ago. I didn't want to be home alone but now I guess I enjoy it'

I grabbed something for Hunter to eat and feed him. I walked upstairs to prepare a place for him to sleep. An old shoe box! I grabbed it and made a cute little place for him to stay. Then someone knocked on my window. I opened it to see Vlyad"What are you doing up here?!" I exclaimed. He laughed"I didn't want to be normal and go through a door" He said. "Hunter is downstairs eating and I'm fine so why are you here?" I bluntly asked.

"I just thought you would like to see me.." He sadly said. "I am!! I'm just alway home alone and never have had any friends so I don't know what to do.." I said almost crying. He hugged me"I'm sorry..... I didn't know that" His cry full of worry. "My older sister will be back from college next week so you could meet the family I have left." I shrugged. He pulled back from the hug. "That would be great!" He exclaimed. He kissed me on the check, making me blush.

He blushed red"Sorry! Ireallylikeyou!" He shouted. I sat there confused"What?" I asked. He took a deep breath"I really like you" He said walking towards the window. "W-where are you going? I like you too" I whispered the last part. His face brightened up"That's awesome!!"

He kissed me full on lips and I kissed back. Somehow my radio turned on and a romantic song played. We pulled apart, both blushing a deep shade of red. I smiled"Thank you for being my first kiss.." "And thank you for being mine" He smiled back. "Sorry, Abby but I have to go! My mom will be worried about me!" He walked back to my window. "Bye, Vlyad..." I waved "Bye, Abby." He climbed out my window.

I smiled and looked at my radio. Then I heard voices that weren't for the radio. "Did you get the girl, Vlyad?" A female voice asked. I ran to my window to see two werewolves walking with Vlyad. "Yeah, I promise I won't tell mom!" The other female squealed. I could hear him sigh"Yes.." The two squealed and ran towards, where I think, Vlyads house would be.

I walked downstairs and gently got Hunter. I brought him to his shoe box"It will be better tomorrow" I smiled. Hunter hopped in his box. I smiled I thought of Vlyad again. I heard the doorbell ring, so I ran downstairs to check on it. It was a bunch of roses from Vlyad. 'Awww <3'

I made dinner and ate. Then I got into my pajamas and crawled in bed. I smiled to myself knowing someone was my friend an who liked me back. I drifted off into sleep.
