I chuckled watching Emily fuss about Mimi's and Kieren's costumes. "Do you really have to go with your friends?" She asked worriedly fixing Naomi's hair. Naomi was going as a zombie while Kieren was going as the Doctor. Arthur was going as Gray Fullbuster apparently. "You can always come to keep an eye on them you know." Arthur commented smirking. "Or you can leave them to me. I swear I'll take care of them!" Dylan exclaimed grinning. Emily sighed and looked at Arthur and Dylan. "Fine, but I swear you both are going to get in trouble the minute I find out you've left my children on the street." She stated pulling me towards our bed room. We heard laughter as we entered our room.

"You can join them or go to that party you're invited to. I don't mind." She stated letting go of my hand. I frowned and walked towards her. She was looking out and I smiled wrapping my arms around her waist. "I'd rather stay here with you if you're not going to any halloween parties with me." I stated putting my chin on her shoulder. She smiled and kissed my cheek. "I don't want to spoil your fun." She stated as I gave the skin behind her ear a chaste kiss. "You can never spoil my fun because you make my life so much more fun." I replied as we heard giggling.

"You guys are the cutest couple I ever saw!" Dylan teased as Emily rolled her eyes."Bye mom! We'll bring home tons of chocolate and candy!" Naomi hollered as Dylan carried her. "Aren't chocolate and candy the same thing?" Kieren asked emerging from the door followed by Arthur. "Kier, don't start. I can't handle any of your sass battle with her." Arthur stated smirking. "Don't, like seriously. Your sass can kill any one a mile away." Dylan said shaking his head. "You better take care of her Dylan!" She hollered after Dylan smirked and waved as we were off. "We've got the whole house to ourselves, what do you suggest we do?" I asked rubbing small circles on her waist. "Don't start. You know very well why I don't like Halloween." She stated pulling away from me. I smiled and carried her from behind. She giggled and I dropped us on the bed.

We stayed cuddled for awhile, just enjoying each others company until both our phones rang. "Damn it." I cursed as we both reached for our phones on the night stand.

"Evans." I replied smiling. "Where the hell are you!?" A familiar female voice yelled through the phone. "Scarlett?" I asked watching Emily smile at whoever she was talking to. "Yes! You should've been here ages ago!" Scar complained as Emily felt me staring and smiled at me. "I know, but I'm not going this time." I explained grinning.

"Yeah? And why not?" She asked suspicious. "I'm staying home with Emily." I replied cooly as Emily started to frown and walk out. "Oh, I see. Sorry, but could you have at least told us?" She asked as I heard voices in the background "Sorry, I was enjoying my time with her." I replied smiling at the memory of Emily fussing over Kieren and Naomi. "Chris got some!" Scarlett announced as I heard laughter and wolf whistles. "Scarlett, shut the fuck up! I did not!" I retorted glaring at the wall opposite me.

"Yeah, sure, whatever you say dorito." Robert replied for them. "Shut up, Junior." I replied calming down a bit as Emily came back in the room and smile at me.

Emily laughed and apologized on her phone.

"Well, are you coming or not?" He asked after I groaned. "I said I wasn't coming!" I yelled as Emily walked towards me after she ended the call. "Alright, geez, no need to shout." He replied sarcastically. "As-"

Emily got my phone before I could complete my retort.

"Hi, Robert!" She exclaimed joyfully. "Emily!" He replied as I shook my head and wrapped my arms around her as she leaned on me. "Why aren't you out in a costume!? It's Halloween!" Robert asked as Emily shook her head and smiled at me. "You sound like Sebby and Misha" She replied sighing. I frowned when she mentioned him. "And Fassbender and Colin," She continued as my frown grew even more "and Hugh for Merlin's beard!" She replied rolling her eyes. "Aw, but we miss you!" A familiar make voice replied. "T-Tom!?" She asked surprised.

Okay, that's it! I took my phone from Emily.

"I'm having time with my fiancé so fuck off and leave us in peace." I stated as Emily raised a brow. "You swear like a sailor." Tom commented. "I know now come on, get off the phone!" I ordered rubbing my face with my free hand. "Alright, yes. Goodbye, Chris." Tom replied chuckling. "Bye."

Tom ended the call as Emily smirked at me. "What?" I asked raising a brow. "Nothing, it's just adorable how you get jealous." She replied as I smiled and pulled her closer. "So who called you?" I asked as she smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck. "Well, if I told you, you'd get mad at me." She replied smirking. "Really now?" I asked smirking. "Ummhmm, still want to know?" She asked as I caressed her cheek. "Try me." I replied turning us over so I was on top of her. "Jensen called. He said he wanted me to go set and celebrate Halloween with them." She replied making me frown. "Told you you'd be mad." She stated shaking her head. "What you say?" I asked as she shook her head smiling. "Chris, I stick to my word. I am not a Halloween person... not since the day I found myself in the hospital to protect my children." He replied smiling. "That is why you only like the sweets, yeah?" I asked as she blushed a nodded. "You and your adorableness." I mumbled into her shoulder as we slowly fell asleep.

"I love you." She whispered as I opened my eyes to her caressing my stubble. "I love you more." I whispered as she blushed and our doorbell rang. "That's them hopefully." She said taking my hand as we answered the door. "We're home!" Dylan announced as the twins ran towards me and Arthur grinned behind Dylan. "We brought you guys candy." Arthur stated handing us both a Jack o' Lantern goodie. "Did you take this from Hannah's home?" Emily asked as Arthur blushed. "You should've seen his face! He was red." Dylan teased as Emily and I shared looks. This was the only part I liked Halloween. Not the costumes or the scary movies released, but when my children finally came home and brought home sweets plus the fact that I'm finally here raising them with the woman I love.
