I heard a door knock and Wendy shot up. She knew exactly who it was.

I got up from the couch and opened the door. "Uncle Wes!" Wendy called out the little 5 year old ran to him and held onto his leg giggling.

"Hey there monster" wes said picking her up. That was his nickname for her monster. Wendy giggled and played with his hair. I smiled. "Where's soul?" Wes asked. "He's at work" I replied.

He nodded. "So monster how do you feel about getting a little brother soon?" He asked wendy. "Hmm actually i'm happy a new friend to play with" she said.

I smiled and rubbed my belly. I'm glad Wendy is happy and not upset about the new member of the family. Hours went on and I watched as wes and wendy played.

I heard the door open and soul was greeted by the sight of wes and wendy sleeping on the couch.
