Hey guys! Sooo sorry I haven't done one of these in forever but here I am again. So I will be updating a lot today I got two days off of school because of wheater XD and I've been enjoying it. Another update after this one might be late cause i'm working on a new story probably be my longest yet. Oh and by the way if you really like this oneshot tell me if I should make it into a story on the comments!

I sawm up to the surface as fast as I could. Once I reached up to it I saw the once magnificent ship was now burning in the fire that had started moments ago. I knew he was in it.

I quickly made my way towards it in a dolphin like manner. (A/n like when a dolphin jumps and jumps on top of the water Idk what to call that XD)

I saw the man struggling to stay on top of the surface. He failed. I dived under and sawm to his failing body. I did my best to keep hold of him. I sawm as fast as I could to where land was. By the time I got there the sun had came back. I layed him gently to rest on the sand.

I layed next to him. I couldn't stand up for I had a tale. I observed him closely.  I've never been this close to a human in all my life. It felt strange but at the same time nice. The human looked so cute. I often day dreamed about him. He had the prettiest white hair and the redest bold eyes.

To be clear I loved everything about him. One of his eyes opened. I had no time to hide. He looked at me in shock. I was about to swim off when he grabbed my arm. "Wait I didn't mean to frighten you" he said.

I tried to get away from his grasp even though I really wanted to stay I knew I couldn't. "Please" he said so much like a little kid who wanted a cookie. So I did. "Are you scared " I said not facing him scared myself of the reaction. "No" he said. My eyes grew wide.

I turned to look at him. "Your not?" I questioned. "How can I be scared of such a beautiful creature that saved my life " he said smiling.  I blushed. "Your welcome but I really must be going " I said heading back to the water. "Wait what's your name " he said. I turned smiling. "Maka and yours" I said to him. "Soul" he said also smiling.  "Nice name" I said.

And with that I dived back into the ocean.

So what did ya think? Ok so I was watching the little mermaid the Disney version (don't judge) and I got this idea agian tell me in the comments if you think I should make it into a story cause I will hope u liked it!
