Souls pov

I held maka tightly pulling her back to the motercyle. "Ow ow ow hey that hurts!" She yelled. "It better" I said harshly. I then handcuffed her to myself. "Now theres no way you can get away" I said. She struggled to get away. "Please I don't want to go to New York " she said. I looked at her she looked so vulnerable. I shaked it off probably another one of her tricks. "I'm not buying it" I said and kept walking forcing her to follow. Then she stopped walking making it even harder to walk myself. I growled "start walking" I said harshly. "No!" She yelled. So I dragged her to the bike. We drove all the way to a town that was an hour away from New York. The only reason we were so close was because I drove over all the speed limits. Now I had to stop at a gas station for gas. I parked and walked inside dragging maka. "I have to go to the bathroom" she said. "Your not lying right?" I asked. She nodded. I sighed "fine but you better be out by 5 minutes got it?" I said. She nodded again. I uncuffed her and she walked to the bathroom. I got gas and waited for her to come back. She was taking forever. I groaned and walked back in and knocked on the bathroom door. "Maka you in there?" I asked. "Yeah just wait a minute" she said. "Hurry up!" I yelled. "Don't rush me!" She yelled back. I groaned and waited for even more time. "Maka what the hell are you doing in there!?" I yelled. She then opened the door and walked out. "There happy now" she said sarcastically. I handcuffed her to me again and walked out. "Hey soul sorry about that thing in the motel I just really don't want to go to New York" she said. "Why don't you want to go anyways?" I asked. "First I have my own mission second I can't tell you top secret" she said. I looked at her. She showed strength and confidence but her eyes tell me different. Her eyes show fear and doubt. I sighed. "You know they don't have an exact date for when we have to be in New York so why don't we have some fun?" I asked. She looked at me and didn't speak. I realized that what I said might've been taken wrong. "No! Not that! I ment there's some guys I know in this town that are having a party tonight you wanna go?" Her face lit up. "Really!" I nodded. Her face was practically glowing it was kinda cute. I uncuffed her "alright get on the bike I so we can go" she then ran and sat down waiting for me. I smiled and ran too and got on. We drove to the party and it was already crowded with a bunch of people. Maka ran inside and immediately started drinking. I just stared at her in shock. Hours later she was still doing it soon people crowded her watching amused. I had to pull her out before she did something she would regret. "Aww soul kun the fun was just starting" she said obviously drunk. I sighed this was going to be a long night.

-Time skip next day-

I gave maka some water. She was on hang over mode. "Owwww" she groaned clutching her head. "I don't have anything for you I'll check your bag" I walked over to it but she started screaming to not touch it. So I left it alone. "Maybe I shouldn't have taken you to that party" I said out loud thinking. She groaned in response. "Come on we have to go to New York " I said. "No remember you can't bring me in this condition I have to be in full health or else they'll take me but you don't get your money" I hate to admit it but she was right. I sighed. "Guess I'll have to deliver you tomorrow" she smiled at that. "Don't get any ideas" I then handcuffed her and she groaned. So for the rest of the day she gave me the silent treatment.

Next day

The drive to New York was silent. I didn't mind though. I was getting attached to her and I couldn't let that happen. I arrived at the building and there stood two men in suites. I uncuffed maka and grabbed her arm dragging her to them. "You got the money " I said sternly. They nodded and opened up a brief case with all the money. I took it and gave them maka. "What's your business with her anyways" I said. "Well she's caused a lot of trouble with us she escaped our facility and has been on the run since" one of the guys said. "What kind of trouble?" I asked. "Let's say killing half of our men stealing our top secret information hacking our computers and taking all our money" the other said. My eyes widened. How could this girl do all that? "Now we got her back and she's going to pay the price for whats she's done " he said looking directly at her. She flinched. "Die" she then kicked him right in the crotch and punched the other guy in the face and ran to the elevator. I chased after her and heard the sirens go off. I got in the elevator with her pushing her against the wall when it closed and started moving up. "What the hell do you think your doing!" I yelled. She then punched me in the stomach and the elevator opened she ran out. I followed and she got in a room. Once I caught up I closed the door behind us and looked back at her only to see her pointing a gun directly at me. I put my hands in the air and she smirked. She handcuffed me to a pipe line and threw the keys across the room. She went through her bag and got out a chip and plugged it into a computer. She finished and put the chip in her pocket. "Maka what the hell are you doing!?" I yelled. "I had my own plan get their money and get back home and use the money for my sick brother and you just had to slow me down" she said glaring at me. My eyes grew wide. She's had everything planed out from the start. "You weren't part of my plan but I made it work " I struggled to get out of the cuffs. "Well bye soul nice meeting you" she then crawled through a vent and disappeard. All I could do was sit here. I looked at the keys. She just left them carelessly. I realized she wanted me to follow her. She purposely cuffed me to the pipe so I could easily get out. I grinned and pulled hard on the pipe. It came out easily. I got the keys and uncuffed myself. I crawled in the vents and found maka at the end of it. "Took you long enough" she said. I grinned "cool guys like me can take all the time he wants" I said. "Yeah yeah so what do you say partner's in crime" she then helled out her hand. I grinned and took it.
