{Soul pov}

I couldn't stand it. Maka has been giving kid her full attention for a whole hour already. They've talking about soul resence but I know that was secret talk for I like you date me. I mean what else could it mean? Better not mean i'm Horney take me after school. I growled just at the thought of kid doing maka.

She would never do that with kid right? I growled again. I've been secretly watching at a safe distance. They couldn't see me but I could see them and hear them. They weren't on a date or anything. We're at the library at the dwma. I agreed to come with maka but then she was taking forever and I wanted to see what's taking her so long then I see her talking to kid. It made my blood boil.

I glared at him. I heard them say bye and they both walked in opposite directions. I needed to teach kid not to flirt with maka. I went to kids direction and found him. I quickly grabbed him by the collar and raised him up. "Soul!?" He said surprised. "So kid flirting with maka bad choice" I said.

"Wait you think I was flirting with maka no soul you have the wrong ide" I cut him off by punching him. "Wrong idea no way!" I said I kept punching him until an arm pushed me off.  "Soul what the hell are you doing?!" Yelled maka. She ran to kid and helped him off. I growled.

"He was flirting with you" I said. "Soul I know your overprotective but that gives you no right to beat him up!" She said. "Hey kid you ok" she said sweetly. "Yeah i'm fine thanks maka" he said getting up. I rolled my eyes.

"I don't care he was trying to steal you away from me I can't let that happene your my everything" I said looking down. It was true. "Soul that could never happen I only love you" she said then hugging me. I looked eye wide but I hugged her back.

"Sorry kid got jealous " I said to kid. "It's ok I would be jealous too" kid said then walking away. I growled. "What was that about!?" I said. I heard maka giggle. I smiled down at her. There was no reason to be jealous. But as I am i'm jealous as always.
