S Y N O P S I S

Stevie Kealoha is fucking cold.

When her best friend Maverick suggests they write and record a Christmas album about three weeks before the holiday, Stevie simply can't say no. Mostly because she needs a vacation after the chaotic year she has had, but also because Stevie and Maverick don't need much convincing to get together to sing Christmas music. It will be so much fun, they say.

Except when it's not.

Calgary is cold for this Islander. Calgary during a historic and totally unexpected blizzard? A freezing nightmare.

What is supposed to be the ultimate holiday getaway turns into a certified festive disaster after getting snowed in with not much more than sugar cookies, some ugly Christmas sweaters, and a pair of bisexual theatre kids who love Christmas.

Stevie and Maverick writing music together is pure magic, but they'll need a Christmas miracle if they're going to make it out of that cabin with a finished album by the time the snow melts.

Hi! Welcome to my little corner of Wattpad.

Not unlike the premise of this story, it took no convincing when I asked Jordan if she wanted to write a little Christmas short story with me. So, here we are! SOLSTICE and I NEED YOU CHRISTMAS are sister short stories set in our shared universe which includes the following stories: ADRENALINE, OVERKILL, and HOLOCENE by me, and FLY WITH ME and BRIGHSIDE by Jordin. Additionally, Jordin has another Christmas short story titled LIKE IT'S CHRISTMAS which includes all of these characters!

This is mostly for some lighthearted fun this holiday season! It is recommended that you have read at least some of the above to understand the dynamics of this story, however you're free to hang out either way if you wish!
