I'm alive! Still alive people! I can't apologize enough to not updating this, but I have a life of my own and is already hands full with entrance exams so yah, I think you all needed an explanation for waiting so long. And plus, the comments with hundreds of "please" or "update" had me going hyped to continue this and finally give you the final chapter. No joke. This really is the ending. Haha have fun! ^^

Morning dawned on the guild as Mira cleaned the bar table. Gray, as always, entered the guild and was ready to drink.

"Good morning, Gray." Mira greeted with her usual barbie smile.

"Where's Natsu?" He asked without even greeting her back.

"My, my, early in the morning and you're already looking for him? You must've finally gotten along after that favor, huh?"

"Nah, he's still as boring as he was before, not entirely that is. I'm just looking out for Lucy." Mira paused whatever she was doing, her hand slowly slipped out of the glass she was wiping as she turns to Gray with eyes slightly opened in surprise.

"Oh my, Gray, what happened with you and Juvia? Just one care ride and you're already targeting the girl?" She covered her mouth with her hand. With the density of Gray's brain surpasses that of the bottom elements of the periodic table, he raises an eyebrow and stare at Mira with a dumbfounded look.

"With Juvia? Nothing. Look, Lucy's a nice person and Natsu's as cold as my ice, I'm just wondering how Natsu would be able reject such a nice and kind lady. Poor girl." As Gray shook his head as he stares at the wooden floors of the guild, Mira, on the other hand, started to giggle in her own thoughts.

"I doubt that'll be the case, Natsu's not cold anymore...well at least not with her. You'll be surprised what might happen, Gray." Mira noted, hinting some things only she, herself, knows about.

"Then where the hell is he? I heard he was meetin' up with Lucy a few minutes from now, I'm--" Gray paused as his phone vibrated in his pocket. He raised his hand in front of Mira. "Hold that thought." He answers the phone

"Tu me manques, Gray! Est-ce que tu me manques chéri?" Juvia's voices echoed through the wide open halls of the empty guild house.

"Geez, Juvia I know you're in Paris, but I don't understand a word your saying! Please, in english." Gray said as he soothes the ache in his hurting ear due to the loud exclamations coming from Juvia.

"Ah! Désolé--Ah! I mean, sorry Gray. I just miss you and all and I'm in my home town, gosh! This is so reminiscent!" Gray chuckled.

"Well, don't have too much fun without me. Look out for guys try'na check you out okay? I'll kill them once I get there." Mira continued on her job as Gray chatted with Juvia through the phone. The doors of the guild open and second by second wizards and such entered the guild to hang out or find a job to go on. As people kept coming in, Natsu was swept in by the crowd, Mira and Gray spotted him in mid-call and work, and to their surprise, he was talking with the people in the crowd. Small talk. It was shocking to them and yet they felt a sense of hope, a spark of chance of change for this immovable. Natsu caught sight of Mira and, surprisingly, smiled.

Gray's jaw dropped. Slightly tapped on Mira's shoulder.

"Are you...are you seeing this?" He asked, frozen to where he stood. Mira nodded in reply.

"See? See what? Gray, what are you talking about??" Juvia's voice was heard aloud from the raspy speaker of the phone.

"Ah..A miracle. I'll tell you once you get back. Goodbye, love you." He said and hung up the phone. Natsu sat beside Gray and faced Mira, still smiling.

"You're happy?" She asked.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Natsu replied with a chuckle. Giggling, Mira realized how contagious Natsu's happiness was.

"Let me guess~" Gray continued as he rolled his eyes.

"Well, duh!" Natsu cleared his throat." I mean...obviously, It's because I'm meeting with Lucy again." He sounded like a child at first but continued his sentences as a sophisticated man.

"Even though you might get rejected or maybe hated?"

Natsu went silent. For a while.

"H-hey! I was just kidding. Cheer up. No one could resist you!....probably" whispering the last part, he brushed it off and gave Natsu a loud slap on the back.

"Setting Gray's bad jokes aside, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be waiting for her? She might be there already." Mira stated, placing a glass on the shelf.

"What?? Where are we going to meet! I thought we were meeting here in the guild hall??" Natsu stood up, surprised and yet fidgeting a little bit. Seems to be nervous.

"You were suppose to meet at the magnolia square! 8 am. It's 7:58, Natsu!" Mira stated with pressure towards Natsu.

Natsu started to run. "You didn't tell me that!" He exclaimed, running through the guild, his voice echoing through the walls.

"Is he stupid? He has a watch." Gray turned to Mira. "I know you like toying with him but come on, Mira. It's 7:00."

"Oh~~ hohoho, A man should be the one to wait for the woman." She giggled as she enjoys the playful way she goes on with Natsu. "Plus, knowing Lucy, she'd get there early."

"I wonder what'll happen..." Gray stated as he leaned on the counter.

"Want to know?" Mira asked pulling out a listening device.

"You bugged him?!" Gray exclaimed, catching everyone in the guild's attention.

The soles of Natsu's shoes tapped on the concrete ground as he increased the speed in his sprint. As he ran through the streets, passing by strangers that dart his direction. The thought of seeing Lucy excited Natsu so to double check the time, he checked his watch. He paused with a wanton face. As Natsu caught his breath with his palm digging on his face, he muttered softly but angrily under his breath.

"Damn it, Mira."

With the words he had spoken being heard from the device Mira let out an extremely loud laugh that caught the curiosity of most of the people in the guild.

"Nothing to see here!" Gray stated, trying to covering up the situation, but Mira didn't contribute at all to Gray's intention.

"Everyone! Gather! Natsu's going on a date! You can hear it here!" She exclaimed, but didn't sounding annoying due to her angelic voice. Everyone paused, thinking that this is Natsu they we're fooling around with. With that thought circling around their train of thoughts, a cry of excitement could be heard clearly near the neighborhood.

"I'm betting a rejection scenario here!" Someone exclaimed from the crowd. "Natsu getting slapped for 10 jewels! Place your bets here!" And in an instant, they made bets already.

Natsu sat at the side of the tree, ironically this is where they first met and this might be their last meeting. He wiped the sweat of his face and fanned himself so he would at least appear half as disheveled as he already was.

"Natsu?" A voice from behind was heard. Natsu turned around to be blinded by the ray of sunlight that hit his eyes. She tilted her head to cover him from the light.

"You're quite early." She said.

"Lucy?" Natdu asked, adjusting his sight. "I could say that about yourself."

"SHE'S THERE!! EVERYBODY SHUT UP!!" Gray shouted as he sat sloppily on the stool. Everybody let out a high noted shriek before zipping their own vocal chords.

"You're as excited as everybody else is, Gray." Mira whispered.

"Well who wouldn't want to miss a chance to diss him later?"

Natsu quickly jolted up from his position and fiddled with his hair and coat, trying to check if he really looked alright. After he felt satisfied with his appearance, there was a moment of silence between the two of them.

"So..." Lucy stated, cutting of the extending length of awkwardness in the atmosphere. "You wanted to talk?"

"Ah yes!" Natsu blots out. The nervousness in his voice was apparent through each word he says. "I did.." He clears his throat and took a deep breath.

"Okay, Look Lucy, I'm--" Lucy raiser her hand, causing Natsu to stop.

"You're sorry?" She added. A second passed as Natsu replied with a nod. Lucy seemed bothered, suddenly avoiding his sights with a somewhat smug look and en scratching the back of neck.

"Natsu, before you say anything...you don't have to apologize. It's my fault." She looked embarrassed and cupped her hands around each other. "I mean, you have a fault in this too but me avoiding you is just acting stupid. You did that and I couldn't control my emotions enough to stop my fits of anger."

She paused and finally turned to look at Natsu straight in the eyes. "So, it's alright, I'm...alright. Is that fine with you now?" She smiled a weak smile that built up dissatisfaction in Natsu.

"No!" He exclaimed, shocking Lucy. Her eyebrows scrunched together, wide eyed.

As the conversation reached that point people from the guild started to shout at Natsu which he would not hear from that one way listening device. They anticipated Natsu's next statement as Gray continued to further shut them up.

"Excuse me?" Lucy raised an eyebrow.

"You're wrong." Natsu had a struggle trying to convey his true intentions. "You're---You're not at fault, I have to apologize. What 'I' did was unacceptable! If you didn't avoid me after what I did to you, that would be stupid, what you did was natural. It's...hard to control emotions...I would know." He stated remembering past mistakes that cause him to be what he is now.

"I'm not here to have a pity talk with you. I came here because I want...to make things right."

"We are making things right!" Lucy hardened her tone, making her slight irritation unambiguous to Natsu.

"No we're not. It's just you! You're the one saying the apologies, stating the faults and you're concluding everything." Natsu paused. Inhaled and then exhaled to calm his nerves. "Please, just let me explain?"

"What if I don't want to listen?" Lucy replied, raising a sassy eyebrow. Natsu clenched his fist and continued to steady his breathing.

"Then...why did you come to meet me here? Isn't it to talk? To make things clear? Closure?" Natsu leaned on the tree behind me. Lucy glaring at Natsu, spoke.

"That is correct." She replied highly, placing both arms behind her back and walking around the tree. "But I'm not sure things between us will be alright so I'm here to affirm something for myself."

"And what is that?" He leaned forward, away the tree and turned around to slowly follow Lucy around the tree.

"I'll say it when I see it."

Natsu closed his eyes for a moment and sighed. "Okay, whatever. Putting that aside, all I want to say to you is. I'm sorry."

Lucy's stance was the epitome of sassiness and Natsu had all her attention and irritation.

"And I know that doesn't erase the fact that I did that to you, but I want to say I wasn't joking around. I am dead serious about you right now. You want space? I'll give you space, you aant respect? I'll respect you!"

Lucy's eyes widened a bit and tried to look both way with her eyes to see if anyone was listening and....everyone in the square already was.

"N-Natsu.." She shyly stated.

"No wait!" Natsu retorted as he raised his hand in front of her. "Let me finish, because I intend for you to know that I'm here because I love you, I mean yeah it's kinda weird, only a few day, probably a week or 11 days?---that I've known you and gosh, I just...I don't know."

Natsu covered his face to hide it, but Lucy could see his burning red ears.

"We were friends at the very beginning, I mean I was irritated towards you that time but that doesn't help. All I'm saying is, Don't run away from things that would help you get through life.  Is what I'm doing wrong? If this situation was directions and you had to pick right or left which would you pick?"

"I...I don't understand, what are you trying to say?" She asked, trying to stop her smile from being obvious.

"If it were me, I'd go left, where nothing is right, than to go right where nothing is left. Please Lucy? I just...don't want to be alone anymore." He grabbed her hand and tighten his grip as if Lucy would slip her hands any minute now.

Lucy left out a loud laugh, everyone seeing this was dumbfounded. Even Natsu.

"What?"

"Natsu," Lucy stated, holding Natsu's hand with both of her's. "That's it, I've confirmed my assumption."

"Would you tell me what it is?" He asked, face serious and worried.

"Now...Now I am fairly sure that," She looked down on their hands and looked up. "That I love you too." Natsu could not believe it. His eyes widened, his face burned red and he gasped a loud. She giggled in his actions as Natsu lifted her up for a hug. You could hear the people in the square cheering for them, happy and also envious of their relationship...or as they see it.

"DAMMIT WE LOST OUT MONEY!" Majority of the people in the guild exclaimed, but either way majority were shrieking to the romantic exhibition the two showed in magnolia square.

After pushing their way through the very enthusiastic crowd encircling them at the square, they're casual awkward walk begun, with Natsu contributing less and less to the easiness of the atmosphere.

"Did I hear you correctly?" He asked, innocently staring at Lucy from the side.

"Yes, Natsu." Her reply sounded like a mother answer her child for the nth time.

"So you love me?" He asked again. Lucy paused, making Natsu stop in his tracks as well.

"Did I say that?" She said with a surprised look. Natsu paused to think and looked hardly heartbroken but still exposed some emotion. Lucy giggled after a few seconds.

"I'm joking!" She smiled and patted Natsu on the back. "Look, stop asking. I assure you. I love you. I'm not leaving you. Just...calm down, sport." She smiled.

"Aww!" Natsu exclaimed with his heart melting with every second he was with him. His face burned and his heart beat was racing and he came in for a big hug. "I love you too!!" Happily wrapping his arms around her. "You're mine now! Finally!"

"Excuse me?" She pushed Natsu away and grabbed him by the collar. "I think you mean to say, you're mine." She pulled Natsu in for a kiss that extremely surprised him. Both pulled away and stared at each other, Lucy would smile gently while Natsu did so cheekily.

"That's basically the same thing, but who cares! I'm all yours then!" Natsu said and kissed Lucy playfully all over her face.
