Lucy sighed in exhaustion, with the words 'I'm quite fine with it but, don't act like I'm yours...sweetie' she blushed and at the same time very irritated at herself. Her heart thumped in a very fast pace, as always. This is quite common whenever Natsu speaks like that.

She sighed again as she went up the fine wooden stairs. "Why did I even start something I couldn't finish...?" She asked herself.

"Start what, Lucy?" Mira asked, hearing what the elegant blond's complaint made her curious.

"Oh--S-Start to learn how to...cook!" She exclaimed.

"Really?" Her eyes shined in excitement. "Why don't you ask Natsu to teach you? He's an amazing cook."

"I don't believe it." She replied, walking up a few more steps, trying to escape a conversation including a man whom she's uncomfortable with at the time being.

"I say the truth, Lucy. Just try it. He's your lover, right? Don't be shy!" Hearing the word 'lover' made a chill run up her spine. She nodded stiffly and ran up the stairs and into her room. She let out a deep breath and stared at herself in the mirror.

"What kind of lousy trick am I coming up with now...?" She asked herself, full of sadness and filled with regret from the past. "I'm such a fool..." Then the night fell to them.

The next day, Natsu was the one banging loudly on Lucy's door. He knocked on it as many times as he could, getting louder and louder after every knock and shouting Lucy's name.

"Lucy! LUCY. LUCY!" He called out in irritation, and finally Lucy opened the door, wearing a white t-shirt and really short shorts. Natsu noticed it and ignore it the next second. "Why are you wearing that?!" He exclaimed in a comedic way, but still angry and in a rush. Lucy noticed Natsu's smart casual attire, suit and tie.

"What?" She looked down. "You want me to wear that strapless night gown?" She asked with a poker face.

"I-It's not that!!" He shouted back and was blushing just a tiny bit. "Ugh! Just...Get dressed! The buyer is almost here! Go down to the lobby once your finished." He ordered and left. Lucy yawned and went straight to the bathroom. She's trying to forget about the agreement they had yesterday, but it doesn't seem to disappear that easily in her memory.

She wore a navy blue blazer and a pencil skirt that fit her thighs perfectly. She looked a bit seductive, but she didn't intend to. It's a smart casual that fits the situation perfectly. She tied up her hair and went down wearing heels.

Lucy saw no one at the lobby and decided to go out. "Perhaps Natsu is waiting for the buyer outside..." She thought and opened the fancy stained glass door.

"Natsu?" She asked, stepping outside. Natsu turned around to the call of her voice, surprised to see her attire. He stared at it for a while, not even realizing he was staring.

"So what about it?" She asked.

"About what?"

"I'm wearing a smart casual attire, so don't keep staring at me and then tell me it's not suitable." Natsu had no come back for that, since he didn't realize he was staring and nothing popped in his mind.

"I wasn't staring." He suddenly replied, seemingly angered already. It looks as if a fight is about to start, obviously.

"Okay, if you say so." She ended it before any fight was going to happen."Hey, Mira's not in the house for today until the afternoon, so drop the act until she gets back."

"I wasn't planning on doing it anyway."

"What?? You said you were fine with it, right??"

"I said it was fine, but I never mentioned that I would do it." Lucy was desperate, she didn't want another arranged marriage. Yes, another. He grab hold of his arm and squeezed it tightly.

"Please." She asked.

"Don't try to persuade me with words."

"Come on! Words are the only thing I can use to persuade you!" She replied. "Please!" Still, Natsu declined. She was getting desperate and didn't stop until she made him say yes.

"For the last time, Lucy, no!" Lucy leaned on his arm and glaring straight at him. What Lucy didn't know was that, her chest was already leaning on Natsu's arm. Pressed deeply on him. Natsu had a lightning sparked feeling and quickly grabbed Lucy's shoulders and pushed her away.

"F-fine! I'll do! Alright??" He was completely baffled. He turned around and crossed his arms. "You're lucky your not my type. But only when Mira's here, ah?"

Lucy nodded in reply. "Of course! Not your type? I'm thinking that's a good thing at the very least..."

He shoved his hands in his pockets and the awkward silence was ear bleeding. Luckily, there were loud car noises from far in the forest's tracks, deeply hid in greenery of the trees. They both looked to the direction of the sound and saw a car fueled by the driver's magic power. The car stopped in front of the estate and the car door opened, revealing a tall, handsome ginger haired man wearing a suit and tie.

"Ah! Mr. Loke, You're here!" Natsu clapped and walked towards the man.

"Of course, I wouldn't want to be late." He closed the car door and walked towards the stained glass door. Natsu went beside Lucy. He smiled.

"Such a fine exterior design of this estate." Loke complemented the place and turned to Natsu, who was beside Lucy. Loke's eyes caught Lucy, who was wearing the secretary type of attire. He ran towards Lucy and caress her hand and kissed it. Lucy was surprised and at the same time, extremely blushing already, but she knows how to carry herself in front of a possible buyer.

"Such beauty!" He complemented her.

"Why thank you Sir Loke, but shall we continue on to the inside of the estate. I'm sure you'll definitely be pleased." She smiled with her scarlet cheeks glowing and opened the door.

"It looks like I will be pleased." Natsu knew he was referring to Lucy, but he couldn't do anything. He was a buyer and he wouldn't want to disturb what he's doing or saying. Although, there was an itch the whole time Natsu and Lucy was showing him the rooms. After every room, Loke was always focusing on the room and Natsu listened as Lucy explained, but she stopped as Loke always courts her with many complements and romantic gestures that Lucy find very attractive.

Then at the middle of the tour, as the walk through the lobby to the other side of the estate.

"You are a wonderful woman, Ms. Heartfilia." Lucy was entertained and seemed very interested in him and so was he. Lucy smiled and giggled.

"Why thank you, Mr Loke--" She replied with the same phrase.

"Please, call me Loke." He wrapped his arm around Lucy's shoulders and asked. "Would you like to have a cup of coffee after this?"

"Well, if you buy this estate I woul---" She had this sly sexy tone, but she was stopped as Natsu pulled her arm and wrapped his arm on Lucy's waist.

"I'm sorry," He said with a victory yet sly smile. "but she's pretty busy tomorrow." Lucy froze and was blushing.

"Why is that?" Loke raised an eyebrow.

"Is that so?" Loke replied with the same level of slyness. "If that's so. I'll be going now," he made a bow and raised up to look at Lucy. "But no worries, I'll be back." He smiled at her and left the estate.

"W-W-What was all that, Natsu?!?!" She baffled out as her voice echoed through the empty walls of the estate.

"Weren't you the one who told me that I should act that I love you!" He replied. "And aren't you busy tomorrow?? You have that arranged marriage, right!"

"I said when Mira's here! Mira's not here is she??" She gestured at the open space around her. "That marriage was postponed to next week! Michelle called me yesterday and today, you are allowed to do be the ordinary Natsu Dragneel that you are and not my lov---" Natsu suddenly sprinted to her and wrapped his arm around her and covering her mouth. Lucy, again, was frozen.

"Like I didn't know that!" He whispered. "Mira's just at the end of the hall! Why did you think I was acting!! She passed by while Loke was flirting with you!"

Then Mira entered the lobby, seeing Natsu. Her view was from the back so she thought he was hugging her.

"Oh my! There were sounds of shouting just now. Was there a problem with the buyer?" She asked, worried. Natsu tsked.

"Yeah, there was. He was flirting Lucy the whole time..." He acted as if he was disgusted at Loke flirting with his partner.

"What did you do?" She asked again.

"What else would I have done?"

"Well there's a lot more buyers that are available! You can find another one, surely!" She encouraged.

"That's reassuring, Mira." He smiled and Mira went off to the garden outside to water some of the plants. Natsu sighed as Mira went out of the estate and stepped away from Lucy. "Well, that's one buyer we lost. How many are we going to loose next?" He muttered in disappointment.

"I...I'm sorry...." Lucy apologized sincerely to Natsu as his dug his hands in his black pants and walked away. Natsu stopped in his tracks and turned to look at Lucy with a heart warming smile.

"It's fine. Don't worry." Then he went up stairs, leaving Lucy to go to her quarters and changed into something more comfortable for her. They were both exhausted and it was only 9:00 in the morning. 'Today's going to be a long day...' She changed into a brown long sleeved blouse, orange short skirt, black stockings and went down and suddenly saw Natsu and Mira waiting for her.

"What happened? Why are you both here?"

"Well!" Mira said cheerfully as she looked at Natsu, as if he was going to say something. "Right Natsu?" She smiled.

"Uh...Yes, well." He scratched the back of his head. "Mira wanted us to----"

"I want you two to go shopping! It's just 9:30 am and you told me you wanted to learn how to cook right?? Here's your teacher!"

"Oh...about that." Lucy was surprised.

"Ahem, well there's that. And of course---" Again Mira cut him off.

"And of course, he wants you to learns how to cook once you live together!!! Right Natsu?!?" She was so fangirling inside that she couldn't take it.

"Yes, and Mira please get a grip." Natsu walked towards Lucy and pulled her to the door. "Let's go."

Mira opened the door and they both went out. As Natsu pulled her and when they were a few feet from the estate Lucy jerked away.

"What's all this??" She asked again.

"What do you mean what's all this?? You told Mira you wanted to cook, now I've got involved in your shenanigans again.." He sounded exhausted even when it's in the morning.

"Well, it's not my fault you're a good cook!" She replied, not really intended for a offensive reply.

"Damn right I am." He smiled a smile with victory spelling all over it. Lucy giggled. "Let's just go grocery shopping then head back here."

"Just grocery shopping? It's so early! We've been too busy at the estate we forgot to enjoy ourselves! Let's go sight seeing! Come on! I'm excited!" Then Lucy was the one pulling him with a big grin on her face. Seeing that was all that was needed to make Natsu contented for the whole day.
