It's always the little things. Wether it be looking up at the sky or passing by a familiar place. It was always the smallest things that reminded Giyuu of him.

When looking up at the lone moon in the sky all he saw was his pale lavender eyes looking back at him. His eyes always holding sadness inside, yet they were always loving and warm when he looked at them .

Sakura buds were the same shade as his hair. Giyuu could faintly remember how soft it was. He'd spend hours lacing his fingers in his hair. He never seemed to mind, instead he'd lean into his touch.

Whenever it rained the smell brought back sweet euphoria. He always smelled like rain. Petrichor always made him feel like he was there with him, it was intoxicating.

Water breathing served as a never ending reminder of the days they trained together. The tireless days working to improve. He was always so much better.

Kitsune mask are commonly worn for festivals, or for fun. However all Giyuu could see when looking at them were his Kitsune mask. Although the design was simple it was breathtaking. Even the little scar on its cheek was beautiful.

His haori was now apart of his, sown right down the middle of it. The other side a simple red. Red for his sister and the other for him

Sitting down on a large boulder in the middle of a field of trees, Giyuu felt warm tears forming in his dark blue eyes.

Instead of blinking them away he let them blur his vision, more and more tears rolled down his cheeks like a water fall.

Blinking once he allowed the blurriness to leave his eyes for a moment. As more tears formed it blurred again.

This time though he could vaguely make out pale lavender eyes, blush pink hair, patterned haori, with a kitsune mask matching the scar on the young boys face. The scar moved ever so slight as a sad smile formed on his lips.

"Sabito..." Giyuu murmured softly, however the moment he blinked Sabito faded away.

"Sabito" he said louder, but he wasn't anywhere to be seen.

Having seen him only to lose him again he buried his head in his knees. His hands gripped harshly at his pants. A new flow of tears poured out of his eyes, as his body shivered. In a matter of seconds loud cries filled the silence.

Alone in the forest Giyuu let his bottled up emotions free, wishing that Sabito was alive instead of him. Even so that wasn't the case nor could it ever be the case. Because Sabito was gone, and he was alive.

Since he was gone he'll live for him.
