Chapter Thirteen
Jenny sat uncomfortably between Sam and Dean on the plane, hands trembling as she looks out the window. "Shit."
"You afraid of flying?" Sam asked as she shot him a glare.
"You ever think there's a 100% chance you'll die on a plane because a flight attendant is being possessed by a plane-crashing demon?" She asked rhetorically, and Sam only smirked.
Dean had his eyes squeezed shut, humming to himself. "Are you humming Metallica?" Sam asked as Dean nodded.
"It calms him down." Jenny answered, tapping her finger and feet anxiously. "Why did it have to be planes?"
"Look, guys, I get you're nervous, all right? But you got to stay focused." Sam said as Jenny chuckled, staring up.
"Oh, this is not how I wanted to spend my week." She mumbled, Sam's hand linking to hers.
"You'll be fine. I mean, we got thirty-two minutes and counting to track this thing down, or whoever it's possessing, anyway, and perform a full-on exorcism." Jenny looked at Sam, who gave her a reassuring nod. She didn't give him any sort of answer back, and looked straight ahead.
"Yeah. On a crowded plane. That'll be easy." Dean chuckled as he made an odd noise as the plane jerked for a second, his knuckles turning white as he gripped the seat. "It's usually gonna be somebody with some sort of weakness, you know, a chink in the armor that the demon can worm through. Somebody with an addiction or some sort of emotional distress."
A flight attendant walked past, Jenny leaning over Dean. "Excuse me." The flight attendant paused, turning to her with a smile. "Are you Amanda?"
"No, I'm not." She answered before walking away. Jenny leaned out more, Dean watching her look to the back.
"Okay, I see Amanda." Jenny reached into Dean's jacket, causing him to pause as she took out a Virgin Mary bottle. She went to stand up, Sam grabbing her.
"Dude. Be more subtle." He frowned as Jenny did. "If she's possessed, she'll flinch at the name of God."
"Mm. That sounds easier than splashing a possibly not-possessed woman." Jenny handed the flask back to Dean, who was still staring wide-eyed as she stood up, walking out of her seat. Dean and Sam watched her carefully.
"Hey!" Sam whisper-yelled, Jenny turning around. "Say it in Latin."
"No shit, Sherlock." She stepped into the aisle, walking down the lane and towards Amanda.
Jenny squeaked and gripping onto a seat when the plane thumped, staying there for a moment with her eyes glued shut. She looked at the people that stared at her suspiciously before she cleared her throat, stood straighter, and continued.
"Hi." Amanda spun around as Jenny stood off to the side awkwardly.
"Hi. Can I help you with something?" She asked as Jenny hummed, nodding.
"Actually, yeah. I came in here with my boyfriend, but I literally can't find him. Uh— His name is Christo, about yay high." Jenny raised her hand to about Dean's height, staring at Amanda intently. The woman didn't flinch, and she sighed. "If you see him uh... Tell him his girlfriend isn't very happy."
"Oh... Uh, okay?" Jenny nodded, rushing back to her seat.
"Nope." She sighed loudly as Dean and Sam frowned. "Not possessed."
"So, if it's in the plane... It can be anyone."

"How much time do we have?" Jenny asked in a still slightly nervous tone after hearing what Sam had to say about the Ritual Romanum exorcism.
"Fifteen minutes." Jenny nodded as Dean still had his EMF peeking out the aisle, watching everyone closely. The copilot passed him, Jenny's eyes widening when it went off.
"Christo." Jenny and Dean whispered in unison. The copilot paused, turning to face them. There was a devilish grin on his face, and his eyes were fully black before walking back to the cockpit.
The two slowly turned to Sam before all three got up, walking back.

"She's not going to believe us." Sam whispered as the three approached Amanda, who paused.
"Oh! You found Christo." She smiled at Dean as Jenny's eyes widened, watching him frown in confusion.
"Yep. Here he is—" Jenny's hand clasped Dean's, his own eyes widening at the realization of what Amanda meant. "Anyways... Uh— Amanda."
Sam suddenly closed the curtain, the woman stepping back. "What uh... What can I do for you?"
"All right, this is gonna sound nuts, but we just don't have time for the whole "the truth is out there" speech right now." Jenny let go of Dean's hand, stepping away from the three.
"All right, look, we know you were on flight 2485." Sam said as Amanda's smile disappeared.
"Who are you guys?"
"We've spoken to some of the other survivors. We know something brought down that plane and it wasn't a mechanical failure." Jenny stated, and Amanda's smile continued to turn scared.
"We need your help because we need to stop it from happening again. Here. Now." Dean asked, sounding more like a beg because everyone knew he and Jenny did not want to be on this flight.
"I'm sorry, I—I'm very busy. I have to go back—" Amanda tried to brush past Dean, who stopped her quickly.
"Chuck Lambert is dead." Jenny blurred out, Amanda spinning around.
"What? Chuck— Chuck's dead?"
"And we'll all be next if you don't help us." Jenny gave the girl a pleading look, Amanda shook her head.
"Look, there was something wrong with 2485. Now maybe you sensed it, maybe you didn't. But there's something wrong with this flight, too." Sam told her as Jenny took a step forward.
"This is like... Final Destination, right now, Amanda." She whispered as the girl gave her a crazed look, turning to the boys, who shrugged in agreement.
"I don't understand, what are you asking me to do?" Amanda looked at the three in confusion,
"Okay.... uh—" Jenny rubbed her hands together, then splayed them out. "The copilot, we need you to bring him back here."
"Why? What does he have to do with anything?"
"Don't have time to explain. We just need to talk to him. Okay?" Dean ordered, staring at Amanda.
"How am I supposed to go in the cockpit and get the copilot—"
"Do whatever it takes. Tell him there's something broken back here, whatever will get him out of that cockpit." Sam begged, Amanda crossing her arms in defiance.
"Do you know that I could lose my job if you—"
"Okay, well you're gonna lose a lot more if you don't help us out." Dean interrupted and Amanda hesitated, quickly walking out from the back.
Sam handed Jenny his father's journal as Dean pulled the holy water out from his jacket. The girl flipped through the pages, finding Ritual Romanum.
Amanda suddenly reappeared, the co-pilot following after. "Yeah, what's the pro—" He was suddenly knocked down by Dean slamming his fist into his face, Amanda yelping.
"What are you doing?! I thought you were just going to talk to him!?" She asked as Dean shrugged and nodded.
"We are." Dean splashed the holy water onto the co-pilot, who writhed in pain as his skin sizzled.
"Oh my god! What's wrong with him?" Amanda continued to ask questions before Sam grabbed her, pulling her off to the side.
"Just make sure no one comes in." Amanda walked back out as Jenny stared at the words, reading over the book.
"Okay. I got it." Dean held the demon down as Jenny sucked in a breath. "Regna terrae, cantate Deo, psallite Domino— Shit!" The demon broke free of Dean's grasp, knocking Sam and her off of their feet. Dean grabbed the demons legs and pulled, pinning him again.
"Jen hurry it up!" Dean yelled as she stood back up, dusting herself off.
"I know what you're hiding! Oh, you just wait to see how angry they'll be!" The demon cackled at Jenny, who suddenly froze with wide eyes.
"Jenny!" Dean yelled, snapping the woman out of her daze just as the Demon slammed the book out of her hand.
"Fucker!" She yelled, the demon exited the co-pilot's body, entering the vents. "Oh no."
"It's in the plane! Find the book!" Dean yelled as Jenny burst out from behind the curtain as the plane dipped down. Everyone started screaming, Jenny slipping and sliding down the aisle.
Her eyes landed on the book as she grabbed one of the chair legs, her own legs flipping over her head and she slammed into her back, gasping for air as she grabbed the journal. "I GOT IT!" She yelled, the plane returning to normal for a moment. Jenny opened up the book, still gripping onto the chair as her feet planted on the other legs.
Jenny yelled out the rest of the exorcism as the plane crackled with a blue charge before leveling out. She sighed in relief, letting go of the chair and sat up slowly.
"Ow... oh my back." She complained, wincing as she walked back to Sam and Dean.
"You guys okay?" She asked as they looked at one another, then to the unconscious co-pilot, and nodded.

Everyone had safely gotten off the plane, talking to all kinds of federal agents. Jenny stood close next to Dean, an exhausted look on her face as the trio walked out of the gate.
"Let's get out of here." Dean started, pausing when Sam didn't move. "Sam?"
"The demon. What it said about you—" Sam turned to Jenny, who looked at the two nervously.
"Sam, these things, they, they read minds. They lie. All right? That's all it was." Dean stated as Sam huffed quietly, nodding.
"Besides. I can't lie to you guys. I'd never do that." Liar. Jenny thought to herself as the three started walking.

Back in Pennsylvania, Jenny sat in the back of the Impala, staring at John Winchester's contact. Jerry had tried to call him, and then John called her. She thought his number would be inactive since the first time she tried to call.
Sam and Dean sat in the front, Dean and Sam staring at the older Winchester's phone, which also had John's cell displayed on the screen.
Dean clicked 'call.' It immediately went to voicemail.
"This is John Winchester. I can't be reached. If this is an emergency, call my son, Dean. 785-555-0179. If he doesn't answer, call Jennifer. 785-713-8968. They can help." The voicemail ended, and the brothers turned to Jenny, who looked at them.
"Don't look at me like that." She frowned as Sam fumed. She glared at him for a moment before Dean started the car, driving off.
She questioned why John had chosen to put her number in the voicemail. Maybe since she had been working with him over the course of the last two years, he trusted her to help the people he's helped.
Maybe it was something different. Maybe she'd never know.
