i built the castle of our dreams,
among the cherry and the daffodils,
we built our home with all the love we had.
why is it now so sad?

you made me your rockstar,
i made you my king and her the queen.
i made you my superman and her the heroine.
why are we yet so afar?

they say young love don't last forever
but you and her are my roman empire.
please don't let the castle crumble down to its shambles
please don't make me run in the empty hallways
what do i do with the dried bouquet
who do i lay down with on the bed of cherry blossoms.

but the spring never comes,
the winter storm never ends.
why're our skies grey all year long?

i saw the cannon, not how near was the ball,
before i shielded, it entered the hall.
the years of love shattered at once
was it too frail or was the ball too strong?

i failed in saving my queen
oh, how do i get rid of this sin
the arrows keep piercing us
but what do they want?
what do we have to even give?
but if i lay down my life will they stop the war?

then came the downpour with all its lightning
but we didn't let the castle go drowning
it was still standing high with might
but you see, it'll be futile of them
to attack our roman empire, in their hindsight

we'll hold fast to our hands and hearts
and keep swimming to the shore afar.
and one day, it'll rain of cherry blossoms
and smell of spring, again.
the flood will become the sparkling sea
and the castle will become an island.
she'll be holding a new bouquet
and walking down the aisle
while you'll wish her to be your fish.
