Taehyung's POV

"Are you sure?" I sighed and nodded.

“Yes, I’m sure.” I said for the millionth time today.

“I don’t know what they’d do. And I don’t want you to get hurt and—“

“I’ll be fine, Jin Hyung. I want answers, and you can’t give them to me.”

“But—“ I huffed and spun around to face him.

“I know how they are, Hyung. Don’t forget that I lived with them, too. But I want, no I need answers. I want to know why they did what the did to me. And the only way to do that would be to go and confront them about it.”

“But—“

“You can come along if it makes you feel better. They’ll probably be nicer anyway, if you’re there.” Jin frowned.

“They should be nice anyway. You’re their son.”

I laughed at that. “I was never, and will never be considered their son in their eyes. They wouldn’t have sold me to a strip club if I was.”

“Then why the need for answers?”

“For closure, mostly. And I’d also like to punch my father once in my lifetime and show him that I’m not some bitch he can just push around.” A snort sounded from the other end of the room and I turned to find Hoseok sitting there, looking at the two of us. “What?” I challenged.

He smirked, a mischevious sparkle in his eyes as he walked towards me. “You think you could pack a punch, kiddo?”

“You seriously calling me kiddo now? When did this become a thing?” I crossed my arms and looked at him, all but ignoring Jin now.

“Well, I mean you’re short, younger than me, and you act like a child.”

“And you don’t? Didn’t Jungkook tell me something about you whining like a baby because you didn’t want to step into a strip club? Come, a grown man like you, who is hot, single, and still young would jump at the chance to watch the best stripper in Daegu dance.”

“You think I’m hot?”

“Wh—“ I blushed as I realized what I had just said. I clamped my mouth shut and looked away, embarrassed. “Maybe.”

He laughed and patted my head. “Don’t worry, babe, I know I’m hot.” I smacked his arm away and glared at him. He merely laughed again. “Cute.”

“Hey! I am not—“

“Jin, darling.” Namjoon suddenly entered the room, interrupting our little argument.

“Hey, Joonie.” Jin smiled and kissed his husband.

“PDA!” I screamed, feeling traumatized. Hoseok rolled his eyes at me and leaned towards my ear.

“Kid.”

“Shut up.” I hissed, hitting him on the chest lightly before turning back around. “Anyway, can we go now, Jin?”

“Oh? Are you done having your lovers quarrel with Hoseok.”

“We were not—!” We Both stopped and looked at each other as we said that at the same time. I blushed once again and looked away while he simply smirked. Jin scoffed and grabbed my hand.

“Alright, Fine, let’s get going. Hoseok, care to tag along?”

“Don’t mind if I do.”

“Good. The both of you can sit in the back seat and get to know each other a little better then.”

“This isn’t our parents house.” I grumbled as we pulled up in front of a mall.

“I know. But we’re going shopping first. To get you some clothes, because you can’t keep wearing Hoseok’s, an also to get you some art things. You did promise me another painting.”

“Shouldn’t this be something we do after? To you know, cheer me up?”

“I’m not gonna cloud over the things our parents say to you with material things. You know exactly what you’re going to get yourself into, and you already know what their going to say, you just want them to say it out of their own mouths.”

“Plus Jin is cheap.” Hoseok added. “He doesn’t want to go out of his way to waste more gas money.”

“Yah!” I giggled and Hoseok pulled me out of the back, leaving Jin behind to grumble about how disrespectful we both were.

“So, where to?” He asked, turning to me.

“Hmm...how about clothes first? Jin’s right, I can’t keep wearing your clothes, they’re too big for me.”

“You look rather nice in my clothes, if I do say so myself?”

“Oh shut it.” I muttered, hiding my flushed cheeks. We entered a store and I looked around. I felt excited. This was so foreign to me. I hadn’t been in a mall, hadn’t been shopping in years.

I jumped around like a kid on Christmas and instantly ran to a random rack, feeling the fabric. Hoseok followed after me, smiling. “Pick anything you want, money isn’t an issue. And you’ll be staying with us for awhile, so we’ll need a bit of clothes.”

“Really? Great!” I ran to another rack and looked through it. They were sweaters. How I missed sweaters. They made me feel comfortable. And cute.

I picked out like seven of them and then shoved them at Hoseok, declaring him my shopping cart. He huffed, but complied as I continued on my way. I grabbed some pants and some sweatshirts and other comfy things before turning to Hoseok.

“Where’s Jin?”

“Probably out shopping himself. Why?”

“You can go buy those. I’m gonna go find him.”

“You sure this is all you want?” I nodded, although I was lying. But like hell I’d buy that stuff with Hoseok. I found Jin sometime later and dragged him through the mall, before rolling in front of one particular store.

“I see.” Jin laughed.

“Don’t laugh! They’re more comfortable than boxers and...anyway, I need you to buy them for me instead of Hoseok because I’m sure as hell not gonna—“

I got you. Come on.” I nodded and we headed inside. I picked out everything I wanted, even going so far as to get some skirts and blouses. They made me feel nice.

Everything was shoved into a bag and we walked around until we met back up with Hoseok. “Ready?” He asked. I nodded and we headed off.

Next was the art store. I splurged on everything I could’ve wanted and made sure to get an extra large canvas for later.

After that...it was time.

I would now confront my parents.
