A couple hours later

I stayed in her guest room the rest if the night,
"Colby?" I heard her call
"Yes?" I said
"Can I come in?" She asked
"Sure why not." I said
The door opened and she closed it behind her and sat next to me,
"What's up?" I asked
She pulled me into a hug,
"I know you're hurting right now. It's ok to not be ok." She said
"It hurts." I said
"Colby..." She said
"I know. You always tell me it's a feeling I can get rid of." I said
"You either forgive them, or forget them and start over." She said
Forget them? I..I can't do that. Sam has been apart of my life for years, all those memories can't just be replaced with someone new. Brennen was always there, he's taught me some valuable things in life. I can't replace a man like that.
"I..i" I stuttered
She took my hands and looked into my eyes,
"Forgive them. I know you Colby. You want to." She said
I hugged her,
"Thank you Jessica." I said
"Anytime."

Sam's POV
"You want to try calling him one more time?" I asked Brennen
"Yeah." He said
He took out his phone and dialed his number,

Brennen's POV
*ring*
*ring*
"H..hello?" I heard on the other line
I put him on speaker,
"Colby?!" I said
*call ends*

Sam's POV
"Fuck!" I yelled and hit my door
"You call him." Brennen said
"No, it's obvious. He doesn't want anything to do with us anymore." I said and opened my door and going out
"Sam! Wait!" I heard Brennen call
I don't want to turn back, and I'm not going to.

Brennen's POV
I watched as Sam walked out of the room, nostalgia hit me like a bus. It was like when Colby told Sam and I. This time, I wasn't going to let Sam get away. Colby needs Sam more than he needs me, I can't lose both of them.
I ran after Sam and into the drive way, he was already in his car.
"SAM!" I yelled and ran in front of his car
I saw him rolling down his window,
"Brennen, please move." He said
"No Sam! I'm not moving. You know Colby needs both of us there for him, and you leaving... won't make it any better for him." I yelled
He turned off his car, and walked out.
He took a deep breath,
"I'm sorry." He said and walked inside and closed the door,
