Colby's Pov:

Sam and Kat have been dating for a year now. And I'm going to admit I may be a little bit jealous.. I feel like Kat is taking Sam away from me. I don't have anything against Kat of course! She's a great person. She's really friendly, and just a big ball of sunshine. That's the thing though. I can't compete with that.. She's better than me in many ways! All of the fans love her, they are all asking her to come on more investigations with us or They all say how cute of a couple they make. Each time I read the comments I am reminded of their relationship.. I'm trying to accept that I can't have Sam, but it's not easy either. I love Sam but I don't think he knows.. But maybe that's a good thing?

I have known Sam since bandcamp, ever since highschool I have been head over heels for him! (lmfao i sound like a 40 yr old) I'm just hoping I don't get hurt.. Even though I'm halfway there. I wonder if we'll ever get together? Maybe, just maybe.. I'll be called his.. Or he will be called mine since I'm obviously the dominant one. (SURE COLBS..) I get dragged out of my thoughts as I get a notification. It's Sam!

S: Sam C: Colby

S: Colbs, do you want to go to a haunted warehouse tonight? Kat already said yes! I was wondering if you would wanna come too?

Of course.. I'm going to be a third-wheeler for the one that I love the most..

C: Sure, What exact time though?

S: Uhh, probably like 7:00?

C: Yeah, sure I'm down. Are you picking me up?

S: Yep! Cya at 7!!

C: Cya Sammy.

God I love him.. I just don't understand why he has to bring Kat everywhere with him?..

Sam's Pov:

Goddamnit! I love Colby so much!! But I can't do anything because I'm in a relationship with Kat.. And I don't want to cheat on anyone else again.. But I'm not gay or anything? It's kind of just Colby. His smile lights up a room, His deep blue ocean eyes, His silky brown hair.. Everything about him is just perfect! I hope one day I can call him mine.. Just not now.

*Epic Time Skip, 6:58*

Sam notices the time and grabs his yellow puffer Jacket of his coat hanger. He opens the door to his apartment and grabs his keys and heads out the door. Sam knocks on the door, Colby opens the door almost instantly. "Hey Colbs!" Sam exclaims, "Hey Sam" Colby says, smiling lightly. "You ready?" Sam asks, Colby nods in response while shutting his apartment door and locking it. They walk out to Sam's car and drive off to Katrina's place. On the way there they had a pretty comfortable silence, but Colby decided to break it. "So, what's the real reasoning for coming here?" Colby asks, raising an eyebrow slightly. "Well, I just wanted to have a fun time with my girlfriend and my best friend!" Sam exclaims, sounding happy as ever, but we all know that he loves Colby and he can't do anything about it.

We finally arrive at Kat's house, I knock on the door because Colby's still in the car. "Hi baby!" Katrina exclaims, smiling. I look at her up and down and my face goes a little red. She smirks a little, "Lets go to the car?" She asks, I nod. We walk to the car and I open the door for her. "Ah! What a gentleman!" She jokes, I laugh a little. "Hey Colby!" I hear Kat say as I walk to my side of the car. "Hey Kat." Colby says, smiling a little. "You guys ready?" I ask, They both nod. We take off from Kat's house and to the haunted warehouse.

Sam, Colby, and Kat all arrive at the warehouse. They all get out of the car and shut the door. Sam digs through his bag. "Ok, so, Kat you're going to stay with me, Colby on the other hand, will go alone." Colby looks at Sam in shock and fear. "Don't worry Colby, I'm going to give you a radio." Sam says, Colby still looks at him with fear. "That's not that reassuring.." Colby mumbles under his breath. "Colby, don't worry! Me and Sam know how brave you are! You got this!" Kat says with a ton of enthusiasm. "OKAY, OKAY! FINE. I'll do it. For the content." Colby says, "YES! THANK YOU COLBS!" Sam screams, hugging Colby tightly. Colby smiles slightly and hugs Sam back. "I swear to god.. You better answer if I call you guys on the radio." Colby complains. "Don't worry Colbs, everything is going to be okay!" Sam says gently, attempting to make Colby feel comfortable. "I know Sam, I know." Colby says and looks over to Kat, She smiles at him and he smiles back. "Well then, what are we waiting for??" Colby asks. "Let's do this!!" Sam exclaims, "Be safe Colbs.." Sam whispers in Colby's ear. "I will be." Colby replies.

Katrina's Pov:

Me and Sam walk together holding hands. This is terrifying.. I thought to myself. "Do you think Colby is going to be okay?.." Sam asks me with a slight frown. I cup his cheeks so then he's looking right at me. "Of course I do.." I reassure him with a smile. He smiles back, "I love you Kat" He says. I love him too, but I know he loves Colby. "I love you too, but there is something I need to tell you.." I say looking at the ground. He lifts my chin up and looks into my eyes. "You can tell me anything Kat." He says with a reassuring smile. I nod at his response and continue on. "Sam.. I know that you love Colby.." I say, His posture stiffens up, and he looks at me in shock and fear. "How did y-" "I see the way you look at him." I explain. "Look, I'm so sorry Kat! I-"" It's okay!" I say giving him a smile. He smiles back and hugs me. "Can I at least have one last kiss?" I ask, he nods and gives me a small but passionate kiss. "Thank you" I say, "No, Thank you" Sam replies while smiling a bit.

Colby's Pov:

Every time I turn around I hear twig's snapping behind me. I keep looking back but nobody's there! "Sam?.." I ask quietly, I go to grab the radio out of my pocket. "Sam??.. Sam!! Please! Answer!!" I say into the radio. No response.. Goddamnit.. I'm alone and I could totally be killed right now. "Colby??" I hear someone's voice say. "Huh??" I respond to the voice. They sound very familiar. "Colby.. It's me! Jake!" I hear Jake say, "What are you doing here?!" I ask with slight happiness in my voice. "Colby.. I'm sorry but I need to do something.." I hear Jake say as I see him emerge from the darkness and he walks in front of me with tape, a bag, a blindfold, and a rope. "Why do you have th-" My screams get muffled by the blindfold as he wraps it around my mouth. He puts the bag over my mouth as I try to scream. I continuously click the radio so then Sam can hopefully find me. "I'm sorry Colby.." and that was the last thing I heard as everything went black.

Sam's Pov:

Me and Kat went to go look for Colby because we pretty much explored the whole place, but that's when I heard my radio go off. "I'm sorry Colby.." I heard a familiar voice say, and that's when I got a pit in my stomach when I heard a light body fall to the ground. Katrina looked at me with fear. We both thought, It's Colby.. "WE HAVE TO GO FIND HIM!!" I scream as Katrina looks at me with sad eyes as we start to run to the car. I hold the radio close to my ear as we both run. I hear shuffling and someone's voice, their slurring under their breath. Wait a minute.. Jake?! I finally recognized his voice. Me and Kat go running to the car but she stops me from opening the door. "Sam.. I think we should check inside.." She says, "WE DON'T HAVE TIME!" I shout trying to hold back tears. That's when me and Kat see a shadow. "JAKE!!" I scream and start chasing them. There's two of them??. I sprint towards them but at that time Colby is already in the trunk of the car and they start to drive off, speeding. I fall to my knees as Kat comes running up behind me and placing a hand on my shoulder.

Jakes Pov:

I just kidnapped Colby.. I think to myself. "Don't worry man, he'll deserve what's coming from him." I hear my partner say. "Shut up Elton!" I shouted, Elton threatened me.. If I didn't help him kidnap Colby, He would kill me and Tara! I'm so sorry Colby.. We finally arrive at Elton's house. I let Elton grab Colby because I can't deal with the guilt of kidnapping one of my best friends. I unlock the door while Elton is holding Colby in his arms. I grab a chair, tape, and rope. "You better make sure he can't escape or else.. You know exactly what happens." I hear Elton's booming voice say. I tie Colby to the chair and then tape him to the chair. "Wait here till he wakes up." Elton says, "I have to drop Sammy a note.." Elton smirks as he shuts the door.

Sam's Pov:

I rush into the apartment while Kat follows. I ran upstairs to Colby's apartment. Maybe he's pranking me? I hoped that he was. I walk into his apartment with horror in my eyes. "E-Elton?.." I ask, Elton smirks at me. "I have been waiting for this moment ever since day one.." He whispers in my ear. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO COLBY?!" I shout, I clench my fist getting ready to pounce on Elton. "Nothing.. Yet.." Elton says with a huge grin. I try to jump on him but he grabs my arm. "Find me?.." I hear him whisper. "What?.." I ask, as his grip on my arm gets stronger. He pulls my arm in a different direction and lets me go, I see him run out the house with one of Colby's kitchen knives. Please stay safe Colbs.. I'll be there soon. That was the last thing I thought to myself as my eyes slowly closed.

Colby's Pov:

What's going on?.. I can't see! Is Sam okay?! Why can't I move?.. "Hello Colby." I hear a voice say. "MMGH!" Why can't I speak?! "Awwhhh, Cant talk?.. I love seeing you hopeless." Elton. I think to myself. "So, Colby, how have things been?" I hear Elton ask. "MMNGH!!" I keep trying to respond, but something is covering my mouth. "Jake, take the bag off, and the blind fold." Elton demanded. Light blinds my eyes for a few seconds, I see Elton standing there, he's holding a knife.. Oh shit.. I thought to myself. I see Jake's eyes, he looks.. Scared? Jake removes the blindfold from my mouth. "What do you want Elton?.." I ask with obvious defeat in my voice. Elton smirks at me, "I just want to see you suffer.. Endlessly." I stare at Elton with terror in my eyes. Elton walks closer to me as I shut my eyes and look away. "Look at me." Elton demands. I look at him with terror. He puts the knife up to my cheek. He slides it down with pressure as I wince. "I love watching this.." Elton says while smiling. "You psycho!" I exclaim. Elton puts the knife up to my throat as I gulp. "I have control.. Remember?" Elton whispers in my ear. "F-Fine.. Just don't hurt anyone else.. Especially Sam.." I sigh with defeat. I never thought I would die by the hands of my old friend. "Goodnight.." Elton says, while everything goes dark again.

Sam's Pov:

"Agh.." I wake up with a pounding headache, suddenly rage flushes over me. FUCK! ELTON HAS COLBY! I shout at myself in my head. I suddenly found myself in my car. I put my keys in and start the car, I speed off and over to Elton's house. I don't have a plan, but that doesn't really matter right now. I just need to make sure Colby's safe.

I arrive at Elton's, and break the window. But as soon as I do.. I feel arms hold my wrists. "JAKE?!" I shout, he looks at me with sad eyes. "Sam, I'm so sorry.." I hear Jake say, I punch him and get out of his grasp. I ran around the house and just to find Colby In the living room.. There's a black bag over his head and blood dripping down his neck. "C-Colby?.." I whisper in terror. "COLBY!!" I run over to him but that's when I feel a fist hit my face with a thrash.

Elton's Pov:

I punched Sam in the face, his nose started to bleed but that's when I took action. He tried to fight back but I tied rope around his wrists. "Elton.. Leave Colby alone.. Please!" Sam begs. I chuckle, "Man you guys really do love each other! This is hilarious! How does this title of the video sound? "Sam watch's the love of his life suffer in front of him, until he dies.." I say with a smirk. "Don't touch him." Sam warns me, I just shrug and pull the bag on Colby's head off. "C-Colby.." I hear Sam say, I look back at him. His eyes are full of sadness and rage. Colby looks up and notices Sam. "S-Sam?!.." Colby looks at him with fear. "Look what you did Colby.." I say. "Colby! Don't worry! I'll get us out of here!! Are you okay?!" Sam shouts. "I'm fine Sam.." Colby reassures him. Colby glances up at me. "Let him go.." Colby says. "And If I do?" I ask "I'll let you torture me for the rest of my life.. Only if you let Sam go unharmed for the rest of his life with Kat." Colby says, I chuckle. "I was planning on torturing you for the rest of your life anyways." I whisper in his ear. "Sam's going to watch you die slowly and painfully.." I continue. "Elton please.. Let Sam go.." Colby says. "No! Let Colby go! He didn't do anything to deserve this!!" Sam argues. I smirk and walk out of the room to grab Colby's kitchen knife. Colby looks at me with terror. Sam looks at me with rage. "Colby.. If I get to add cuts all over your body, I let Sam go.." I say with a smirk. He looks at me with terror and says "Fine.." I look at Colby in shock and Sam looks at Colby with Sadness. "C-Colby, please! Don't do this to yourself!" Sam exclaims, Colby just looks at Sam with a slight smile. "I'll always protect you Sam.." Colby whispers. I lift up Colby's tank top, and start on his lower abdomen with lines. Colby winces at the movements of the large blade across his skin. "COLBY!! PLEASE ELTON! STOP HURTING HIM!!" Sam shouts. I keep working my way up with the lines. "G-God this hurts.." Colby mumbles under his breath. "Please.. Let Colby go.." Sam cries out. I bring the blade up to his forehead and put a horizontal line across his forehead. (Eren Yeager moment? Anyone? Just me? Ah, ok.) I finished cutting Colby. Colby fainted awhile ago but he will live. It will just be really, really painful when he wakes up. "Alright Sam, It's time to let you go." I say as I knock him out.

Sam's Pov:

I wake up to A cold floor on my face. COLBY!! My own cries replay in my head and so do the memories. I need to save him.. But I need someone's help. I speed - dial Brennen and Corey's numbers. I tell them everything that happened and I broke down in tears. "I'm coming to your apartment right now okay?" I hear Brennen say. "Okay.." I say

Brennen and Corey arrive with an assault rifle and a shotgun. They were wearing all black and they were holding their weapons like they were part of an army. We all walk out to the car and start to head to Elton's.

Colby's Pov:

Elton wouldn't stop kicking me and just basically beating me. I was drained. I couldn't take all of the pain that was coming from Elton's hands. I was just hoping it would all be over soon. Elton leaves the room without putting the bag back on my head this time. I still had the blindfold wrapped around my mouth though. That's when I heard banging on the window behind me. Sam?! THANK GOD. "Mmgh!" I try to speak but I keep forgetting about the stupid blindfold. Sam looks at me with a reassuring smile, I turn a slight shade of pink. Elton walks back into the room. I turn around quickly as horror fills my eyes. Elton's holding a taser, whip, nail, and a dagger. Elton walked toward me. "What should we test out first?" He asks with a slight smirk on his face. "MMGH!!!" I turn my head and shut my eyes tightly. "Stubborn aren't we?" He says. He moves closer and he does "iniminiminimo" with the weapons. His finger lands on the whip. I look at him with fearful eyes as he picks it up and moves closer. "MMNGH!" I cry out in pain, but the blindfold is covering my proper cries. "Let's take this off.." Elton says with a smirk. He takes off the blindfold from my mouth. I gasp for air, while he brings up the whip getting ready to use it. "AGH!" I yelp in pain. He whips me a few more times and plays "iniminiminimo" again. This time it lands on the dagger. But before Elton could grab it I see Corey and Brennen tackle him. Sam runs from the right and looks at me with his deep blue eyes. He kneels on the ground and uses his pocket knife to cut the rope and the tape. Sam lifts me up and carries me in his arms. I fell asleep suddenly. All this blood loss is making me tired.

Sam's Pov:

I carry Colby out to the car and place him on the front seat. I buckle him in the seatbelt and rush home, probably speeding like crazy. Once we arrive I open the door to my apartment with one hand and holding Colby with my other arm, holding him close. Once I got the door open I carried him upstairs to my bedroom and laid him down on the bed. He grunts and slowly opens his eyes. "Colbs.. It's okay.. You're safe now." I reassure him. He looks up at me with slight tears in his eyes. "I'll be right back okay? I'm just going to grab some bandages and medical equipment." I say gently. He nods, but he still has terror in his eyes. I head to the bathroom and grab some medical equipment. I head back over to Colby. He's asleep again.. He looks drained. I start to bandage his legs first. Then I continue to bandage his forehead and arms. I peroxide some of the wounds first. Colby wakes up in pain, but he tries to ignore it. Colby winces slightly at the peroxide. "I'm sorry.. It'll be over soon" I say while I add the last drop of peroxide. I look at Colby with gentle eyes, Colby smile's slightly. "Thank you.." He says. "Colbs.. I'm sorry I got you into that mess.. If only I came with you-" "Don't worry Sammy.. I understand. You don't need to feel guilty." He continues on "Speaking of feeling guilty.. I may have dropped the camera with all the footage.." Colby mumbles. "That doesn't matter" I chuckle lightly. I lay down, and pat my chest, giving Colby a sign. "You sure?.." He asks, "100%" I say. Colby lays his head on my chest and I play with his hair. "I love you Colbs" I whisper, "I love you too" He responds.
