It was just an average Thursday, nothing much, and I recently came across this random website that has recommendations for abandoned buildings. I scrolled FOR HOURS to find the perfect place for me and Colby to explore. We recently just got back from an overnight "TFIL" video and pranked Jake that he got caught by security, so I was planning to bring Jake with us to prank him even worse this time. I know it sounds very childish or toxic but we were really bored and had absolutely nothing to do, except for complaining and having another pizza night the 17th time this month. I came across an Abandoned Hospital, so I decided to text Colby about it all.

S: Sam, C: Colby

S: Yo Colbs?

C: What's up?

S: I just found an Abandoned Hospital and I kind of want to prank Jake, Are you down to help?

C: I'm down, but what do I have to do?

S: Ok, so, we're all going to separate and go different ways and I'm going to scream out of nowhere and add FAKE blood all over my shirt and then you will come and find me and fake cry. I know it sucks but I'm pretty sure it'll work, especially on Jake.

C: Damn, uh, ok, sure? Is Jake gonna get mad or nah?

S: Definitely.

C: Alright, Alright, when are we going? Tomorrow or...?

S: Nah, I was planning on like Sunday? Or Monday? You can choose.

C: How about Sunday? Sundays are always better.

S: But there's more people out on sundays.

C: YOU JUST SAID? Ok fine. Monday it is.

S: Good. I'll text Jake tomorrow it's 2am. I just realized- WHY ARE YOU EVEN UP?

C: Couldn't sleep. You should get some rest though.

S: Okay fine. That means you have to then too.

C: IF I CAN? Then sure i'll sleep

S: Goodnight bro!

C: Goodnight!

*an hour passes*

UGH, I CAN'T SLEEP. Maybe it's just a sign to think about the prank in more detail? Hah, what am I thinking that's just some stupid movie shit. Maybe I should text Colby? Nah, If he's sleepingI don't want to wake him up. Where the hell are my air pods? I search for my airpods through my drawers but they aren't seen. I pull up my blanket covers and there they are just waiting to be picked up from the dark warmth underneath my blanket. Aha! Typical, I also lose my stuff in blankets. It's not even funny. I put in my air pods and open Spotify to listen to ' Everlong - Foo Fighters', as the music plays my eyes start to get heavier as I drift my way to sleep.

Friday, 10:43 am.

Oh my god what time is it... I checked my phone to check the time, 10:43 am, eh not bad considering I fell asleep around 3:30 am. Sam sits up, and gets out of bed on the first try. He heads to his small bathroom and grabs his worn down toothbrush. He opens his drawer, containing the toothpaste. He adds a tiny droplet and starts to brush. After 20 minutes of Sam getting ready he finally decides to text Jake.

S: Sam J: Jake

S :Hey Jake?

J: Whattttt? It's only 11:16.. What do you want?

S: I just wanted to know if you wanted to explore this monday?

J: Can you like, give me details?

S: Yeah, ok, so, I was hoping to go to this Abandoned Hospital nearby on Monday. Me and Colby can pick you up if you want?

J: Sounds good man, pick me up, but what time would we be going?

S: 8 pm?

J: Why is it always at night?! K FINE. Pick me up.

S: Yep, Cya there Jake

J:Sure sam.

Hours Later

Colby decided to come over to mine just to start planning the details on pranking Jake.

I hear a knock on my door, "COME IN!" I yell, most likely waking up everyone in the apartment complex. "Hey, you wanted to plan the prank?" Colby asks while raising an eyebrow standing at the doorway. "Yeah, sit." I say while patting on the seat beside me. "Alright, so, I have the perfect plan!" I exclaim with a hint of squealing like a little girl while Colby laughs slightly. "And what's this "Perfect Plan!" Colby mocks me while I laugh at his childishness. "Well, you know, we bring the blood and all split up. You will go on the right side of the Abandoned building and I'll go to the left, but actually once Jake goes straight you will follow me and help add the fake blood onto my shirt, looking like I got stabbed." I say nonchalantly while closing my eyes. "That's the most sick prank I've ever heard.. I'M IN!" Colby exclaims while raising his hand for a high five smiling. A few minutes later we were just chilling on the couch scrolling on our phones as we heard another knock on the door. "YEAH?" I shout "IT'S JAKE!!" I hear the voice on the other side of the door exclaim. "COME IN!!" I yell, "What's up guys?" Jake says while walking inside of the room, sitting down on the chair next to us. "Nothin' much" Colby says while his eyes are still on his phone. We all sit in a comfortable silence until Jake starts to ask questions about the adventure we are about to take on monday. "Well, I just kind of want to find out if the hospital is haunted or something." I say while smirking at Colby, as Colby smirks back. Jake doesn't seem to notice what we're talking about, which is a good thing. "I guess I'm gonna head out, I'll see you guys later or in two days." Jake states, Colby just nods and waves, as I just smirk and wave. Jake has no idea what's coming..

*BEEP, BEEP, BEEP*

I woke up to the sound of an alarm interrupting my peaceful sleep. I check my phone to see 10:47 am. It was finally Monday and I needed to go do some shopping to get the fake blood and fake objects. Colby texted me earlier last night saying "I'll see you at the apartment at 7:40, but I won't be home until then, Cya Sammy." I didn't really question why he wasn't going to be home ALL day, but I would realize later that it may have affected my future way more than I wanted it to..

*Time Skip to 7:30 pm*

Alright, Fake blood? Check. Fake Knife prop? Check. Colby? Still missing. It was only 7:30. I know I'm exaggerating but I feel like he should have at least been in the apartment complex by now. I'm not super worried or anything but we said we would plan a little more until we had to pick up Jake, Whose apartment was in the same complex as ours. I was snapped out of my thoughts to hear a knock at my door. "I'm here!" Colby says panting, almost like he's out of breath. "You okay?" I ask, looking down at him with his hand on his knees bent over. "Y-yeah I'm all good man, just tired." Colby replies. "Should we get Jake?" I ask. "Uhh, yeah probably it's like 7:38. It seems like a good time to get him." Colby mentions. Colby and I get up from the couch and head to the door.

*Knocking*

"Hm?" Jake opens the door obviously tired. "Are you ready yet?" I chuckle at his sleepiness. "Yeah, yeah, give me a few minutes" Jake mumbles while slowly closing the door. A few minutes later We see Jake open the door. "Alright, lets go" Jake says and Colby nods. We all walk to the car and start driving. We already put the fake blood in the trunk earlier so we just need to be patient in the meantime.

We Arrive at the Abandoned Hospital and step out of the car. "Woah.." Colby mumbles, staring in awe. "This place is creepy as fuck.." Jake chuckles and so do I. "Okay so, I brought 3 different cameras and I think we should all split up." I say smirking and giving Colby a wink. "OH C'MON!" Jake shouts, I laugh while handing him the camera from the backseat. "Alright i'll go left, Colby goes right, and you will go straight?" I say, as Jake nods.

I look for Colby but notice he went to the right. I thought he was supposed to follow me?.. I thought, but I just shrugged it off, walking to the left not thinking much of it. Agh! I forgot the jug of fake blood.. Goddamnit I have to go back. I thought, while starting to walk back to the car.

I arrive at the car and grab the jug of blood. I then shut the trunk and started to jog to the right..but that's when I heard Colby scream..
