T.H.I.R.D

After many nights, the exciting and horrifying adventure was coming to an end. Yes, Sam and Colby were excited to be done with The Conjuring House, but they had a feeling of sadness deep inside them. After all, this was one of their greatest series, and the fans loved the amount of suspension in these types of videos. It had a special place in Sam and Colby's hearts, something they would remember forever. They both had crazy experiences in the house, such as being locked in the basement, having conversations with dead soldiers, trying to help free the spirits, and general paranormal activity.

It was the talk of the town. Everyone on the internet was petrified for Sam and Colby's safety, remembering all past events. Once they saw the picture Colby posted, everyone freaked, everyone on TikTok was making edits, everyone on Twitter and Instagram were scolding them, and, it wasn't over. Then again, there were some people that were extremely excited for the series to come out. They couldn't wait to see it, wanting to be proven of the paranormal.

The picture was posted on Day One, Sam and Colby joked about how many people were freaking out and using Colby's real name to scold him. Yeah, it was really funny at the time. But, then again, nobody was focusing on the spirits the first day they were there. Sam and Colby were relaxing the first day, not bothering to try and fight off demons just for a video instantly. The key word was instantly because the next day was full of trying to get rid of demonic presences.

Sam and Colby had hired a priest to come to the house, asking for permission from the owners, obviously. At first, the priest didn't seem too scared. They all walked through the house, starting off with the main area where the owners lived. Since they lived there normally, no negative energy was found in that part of the house, only seeming to be traces of good spirits in the room. The owners were probably thankful to have one safe spot in the house.

It all changed near the poster when they left the owner's main area. The energy changed drastically, the air feeling heavy as there were silent noises, such as whispers or bangs, scaring the priest and both boys. It wasn't as bad upstairs, but the basement had something hidden inside it. The priest never said what, he just said it wasn't human nor angelic. The priest also said Colby had an encounter with it a year ago, during his time in the basement. He mentioned the name 'Bathesba' which made Sam and Colby's hearts drop.

They knew that name. They knew who that was. But it didn't make sense, Bathsheba Sheerman was real, she was human... right? She was known as a witch, an evil one. They said that all of her kids died before nine months old. It couldn't be just a coincidence, right? How could it be?

Then day three happened. Day three might have been the worst for both Sam and Colby. The day started off horrible, seeming as if Colby had back pain and he threw up twice during the witching hour. Sam had woken up to the sound of gagging, seeing the bathroom light turned on. He noticed Colby wasn't beside him, scaring him shitless. Once Sam got to him in the bathroom, the lights flickered, and Colby threw up more than just bile. Colby threw up blood as well, his head felt like it was twenty times its normal size, and he felt like there was a burning sensation in his abdomen, like a piercing.

After the horrible wake-up call, Colby was locked in the basement once more. The situation brought back memories that caused Colby to panic, remembering what the priest had said and deja vu starting to get inside his head. Needless to say, the whole experience was petrifying. Sam eventually helped Colby out of the basement, noticing his disappearance, and comforted him. After a while they got a ton of spirit box activity, the words being quite clear from normal sessions. They had a crazy surreal chat with one of the soldiers, possibly the one from the past.

The rest of Day three was okay, not much happening except for some knocks or bangs. It was raining that night as well, adding a tiny bit of calm energy to their dire situation. They slept peacefully that night, flustered when they woke up the next morning cuddled with each other.

Day four wasn't bad per se, just a few shadows were seen, probably surprising the hell out of the blue-eyed paranormal investigators. Sam and Colby also went deeper into the forest that day, searching for the graveyard so they could talk to the spirits there as well. They had some pretty good quality talks with some of the ghosts there, mentally noting the names of some of the good spirits during their session. Sam talked with one of the ghosts individually, his name being 'David'. Colby did the same, talking to an entity whose name wasn't given. All it told Colby was that 'It's faster than you think'.

Colby didn't know what that meant, thinking it was just something out of the ordinary for the entity to say, knowing that whatever he was talking to wasn't human. Once they were home, they relaxed, scrolling on Instagram and Twitter as they liked posts from their fans, seeing how most of them were concerned about their situation. It felt nice having someone to care for them, feeling like they were older brothers going to war. In reality, their situation was worse than war, they just didn't notice it.

Day five was interesting. Seth and Josh came over for the day, all of them doing investigations together as they got some sick evidence of the paranormal. They caught a door slamming on Colby when he went to the basement, Josh and Seth both freaking out as they saw it happen right in front of it. Sam did the spirit box in the living room next to Anabelle, getting some clear footage of words that were mentioned.

And of course, being Sam and Colby, they had to relax. So, they brought some Jack Daniels and White Claw to the house, drinking as a release of anxiety. After getting drunk, Seth and Josh left, leaving Sam and Colby alone... together.

Day six was chill, not much happening except for subtle bangs and whispers throughout the day. Yes, they still caught paranormal activity on the EMF and Music box but nothing else, the house seeming quiet. It was odd, the air feeling a little less heavy as they felt free, seeming as if they were back at home. They didn't understand the reasoning but accepted it.

Now, they're here...

"Sammy..." Colby whined, shaking the blonde as he stuffed his face in his neck. Colby was cold, feeling like his insides were twisting. He was shivering, feeling like he was sick or dying as he had full body shudders often. "S-Sam... Please, wake up..." Colby begged, the feeling getting worse. Sam hummed, consciousness slowly seeping through his body with a groan escaping his lips. Sam felt a physical shake beside him, like a vibration on his neck.

"Colby?.." Sam asked, his body turning quickly once he heard a whimper. "Dude, you okay?" Sam asked, concern laced through his voice as he stared at the shaking brunette. Colby groaned, trying to wrap the blankets around him further. "Colby? What's wrong?" Sam asked, noticing the extreme distress in his best-friend. Colby didn't respond, scaring Sam. "Colby?!" Sam asked, slowly feeling panic rise in his chest.

"Don't yell... please...." Colby pleaded, snuggling into Sam for warmth.

"Shit, sorry, dude," Sam apologized, hesitantly wrapping his arms around Colby to provide warmth for the shivering brunette. Colby's breathing was shaky, his face was pale, his delicate touch was oh so cold, and he shivered every few seconds. Sam gulped, feeling Colby press his face into his chest. Sam slowly put his hands in Colby's hair, massaging it gently to calm the younger.

"You're warm," Colby said with a hum, snuggling deeper into Sam's chest. Sam blushed, feeling Colby snuggle into his chest was cute. It felt peaceful, the heaviness still in the air but it didn't seem to matter as long as Colby was there. Colby hummed, enjoying the feeling of Sam's finger sin his hair, loving the way they massaged his scalp as he enjoyed the comfort of Sam's chest.

They stayed in that position for a while, Colby starting to feel slightly warmer by every minute that went by. It felt intimate, but it also felt so right and comfortable. This was them, Sam and Colby, together at The Conjuring House. Was it odd to enjoy the time there? Even though they had quite a few scary experiences it still felt safe, at least when they were together. Ever since Sam and Katrina broke up, Sam and Colby got closer, stepping over some boundaries that friends don't step over.

"Colby, you feelin' better? We should probably go investigate a little more but if you aren't ready it's fine." Sam promised quietly, his voice quiet as he made sure not to startle or trigger the brunette. Colby yawned, nodding as he slowly lifted his head from Sam's chest, Sam releasing Colby from his grip at the same time. They were both in boxers, both of them blushing lightly as they noticed how unnatural this was.

Colby decided to change, grabbing a random hoodie off the floor and some sweats, not wanting to get cold again. Sam took a glance over at Colby, seeing how the slightly taller brunette was shivering a little. Sam sighed, grabbing a pair of black jeans and a red and black striped shirt, putting it on quickly. Once they were both changed, both boys made their way to the kitchen, wanting to eat something.

"Yo, do you want eggs or pancakes?" Colby asked, opening the fridge as he stared down at the items. Sam didn't understand how Colby was planning on making breakfast, seeming as if he was the one whos sick.

"Colby, dude, you're not making breakfast. I'm going to make it, okay?" Sam said, walking over to the fridge and grabbing eggs.

"What? No, dude, I am." Colby said, not wanting to overwork Sam. Colby shivered, his whole body shaking as if he was having a seizure. Sam wrapped his arms around Colby's waist, pulling him into his chest.

"Dude, you're fucking freezing!" Sam said, his eyes widening as he felt the poor boy shiver against his skin.

"I'm f-fine, Sam..." Colby said trying to get out of Sam's grasp.

"No, you're not, dude," Sam said, not believing Colby's lies. Colby sighed, shivering as he snuggled into Sam, trying to find warmth. Sam sighed, picking Colby up abruptly. Colby yelped, trying to get out of the shorter blonde's grasp.

"L-Let me go!" Colby said, shivering against Sam. Sam didn't listen to Colby's pleas, bringing him toward the couch and wrapping blankets around him. Sam laid Colby on the couch, placing more than five blankets on top of him.

"Now, I'm going to make breakfast while you warm up, okay?" Sam said, Colby nodding in response. Sam walked back to the kitchen, turned the stove on, and grabbed a pan, placing it onto the stove. Sam waited a little bit for it to warm up before cracking the eggs. Sam waited for the eggs to finish, placing a little bit of pepper and salt on top of them. Sam then grabbed some plates, placing them on the counter beside the stove.

Ding

Sam grabbed the eggs with a spatula, placing both eggs on each plate. Sam then grabbed two forks before heading toward the living room where Colby lay. Sam sat on the edge of the couch, holding both plates as Colby's head rose from the pillow.

"Here, dude," Sam said, passing the plate over to Colby. Colby sat up, taking the plate from him thankfully.

"Thanks, bro. You really didn't have to-"

"I did. You're sick, way too sick." Sam said, concern still in his eyes as he ate his eggs. Colby didn't respond, looking into Sam's eyes, searching for something. He didn't find anything except concern and passion in his eyes, including love. Colby started to eat his eggs, his stomach churning. Colby's brows furrowed, feeling a clench in his stomach and then bile rising. Colby's eyes widened, placing the eggs on the nearest table before rushing to the bathroom. Colby fell to his knees, spilling his guts into the toilet.

"Colby..." Sam cooed, rubbing Colby's back comfortingly. Colby choked, coughed, and threw up, his breathing irregular. Colby stopped throwing up, his eyes closing as he got tired. "Dude, you need rest..." Sam said, picking Colby up. Colby didn't react, feeling darkness overtake his body as he slowly fell asleep.

"So, Sam and Colby. What happened?" The interviewer asked, excitement and interest in their voice as they stared appreciatively at the couple.

"Well, we got a ton of evidence. But, my boyfriend here got deathly ill on the last day. We thought it was just the flu at first but then the conclusion came to us that it was possibly his empathetic abilities." Sam responded with a smile, Colby smiling as well as his head resting on Sam's shoulder comfortably. The crowd applauded, everyone cheering for Sam and Colby as they made it through a week of The Conjuring House.

Sam and Colby V.S the world.
