3rd person POV:

Inside the mess hall of the S.S Dawn, Cynthia entered along with Ryuka to find Saiko and Yn having an arm-wrestling contest.

This wasn't the first time one of the crew members of the Dawn walking in on the two having some kind of competition.

Unlike the last times, this time Yn seemed to be losing.

Ryuka: Who you think is going to win? My money is on miss Amazon.

Cynthia:...

Cynthia: Yn will win.

Ryuka: You can see he's losing, right?

Cynthia: He's too stubborn and hot-headed. So if she doesn't have the strength to beat him right away...

Cynthia: Then there is no way she or anyone could beat him in a game of endurance.

Saiko:(struggling) Surrender.

Yn:(struggling) Never... For as long as the game is still going... I will never surrender for my burning soul will not allow it!

Slowly, from the edge of defeat, Yn went on overdrive and began turning this match around.

Saiko:!?

Yn: RAAAAAAHHHHH!

Saiko: This...cannot be!

Yn: HIYA!

(SLAM)

Yet again, Yn proved victorious against Saiko.

Cynthia: Pay up.

Ryuka:!?

Ryuka: I didn't know we were actually betting!

Cynthia: You said you put your money on her. Now pay up, are you all talk?

Ryuka: Um... I don't really have any money on me.

Cynthia: Then it seems you're going to have to pay me another way.

Ryuka: How?

Cynthia:... You'll see.

Joining the two fellow pilots, the three of them began eating while Saiko stared at her arm with mixed emotions she did not understand.

Shock, anger, and disappointment in herself were the emotions she was feeling as she stared at her own arm.

It almost seemed like she was considering chopping off her own arm for failing her.

Yn: Lighten up. I told you at the start that you would lose against me.

While still staring at her arm, she asked.

Saiko: Why did I lose? I should be stronger than you.

Yn: Pretty sure I proved you wrong.

Saiko:...

Cynthia: Stop mocking her.

Yn: She's a grown-up, she can take it.

The eclipse pilot then turned her head towards Yn, but for the first time, they all saw an obvious amount of emotion in her eyes.

Those eyes of hers were filled with determination.

Saiko: Yn Direx. Mark my words...

Saiko:(glares) I will defeat you.

Yn: Dream on amazon.

She continued to glare at him.

(Opening theme)

In the bridge of the S.S Dawn, Captain Trudian saw the Crescent conquered planet of Uranus.

Jacklin:...

They didn't need to stop by it. In fact, would be much smarter if they moved on straight to Neptune.

But there was something that bothered her.

Jacklin:(sigh)

Cynthia: Something wrong, Captain?

Jacklin: Direx's nature is rubbing off on me...

Cynthia: Why do you say that?

Jacklin: I wish to send a few of us to investigate what a city of Uranus is currently like.

Juliet: Are you sure?

Jacklin: Know thy foe to win the battle. Understand thy enemy to win the war.

Cynthia: Understood. How do you want to do this, Captain?

Jacklin: We'll use that eclipse pilot, and send two more with her.

Jacklin: I'm thinking Chuma and I will go.

Cynthia: Captain you can't go, you're our leader, and we can't unnecessarily risk you.

Jacklin: I am aware of that, but I would like to see it with my own eyes the state of Uranus.

Cynthia: At least let me be the one by your side.

Jacklin: No, if something were to happen to me, you are to take charge.

Cynthia: Captain...

Jacklin: Keep us a good distance away from Uranus so we aren't spotted, I'm heading out.

Leaving the bridge and informing the other participants, Freyja and Tyranael soon launched out to stealthily infiltrate Uranus.

The first mate sighed as she watched the Gears float off to one of the cities.

Cynthia:(sigh)...

Yn: I feel you... It should have been us who went.

Cynthia: That's not exactly why I'm sighing.

Yn: Then why are you?

Cynthia: It's because the Captain is unnecessarily endangering herself.

Yn: That middle hag can handle herself.

Cynthia: She's not middle-aged.

Yn: She's not? How old is she?

Cynthia: The Captain will be 34 this year.

Yn: Younger than I thought... But how do you know when her birthday is?

Cynthia: I'm the one who printed out everyone's birthday dates for the list.

Yn: List? What list?

Cynthia: The birthday list that's posted up in the messhall amongst other things.

Yn: Huh... Neat... Still weird you know her age.

Cynthia: The captain is the most important person on the ship. It would be disrespectful if I didn't know her age or birthday.

Yn: Really?

Cynthia: Do you know my age and birthdate?

Yn:...

Cynthia: Well?

Yn:(awkward chuckle) Uhh... Of course, I do...

Cynthia: What is it?

Yn: You're thir-

Cynthia:(glares)

Yn:(clears throat) Twenty...

Yn:(looks at Ron and Juliet)

Ron/Juliet:(looks away)

Yn: four...? Four! Twenty four!

Yn: I remember because you're six years older than me.

Cynthia: Correct. And my birthday?

Yn: You know I have nothing I have to prove to you, so I'm going to grab a snack.

Cynthia: Learn your crewmate's birthdays!

Yn: Fine!

Entering the mess hall he checked everyone's birthdays to be polite.

Yn: Hm-hm...uh-huh...

Yn: Yeah-

Yn:!?

Yn: AIBELLA IS 41!? WHAT!?

Yn:(mind) 41 and she looks younger than Cynthia...

(With the Captain)

Based on the ease the three were able to sneak into the city through the same method they used for Venus, Uranus security measures haven't exactly record after Crescent's take over.

Not wanting to look a gift horse in the eyes, Jacklin accepted it and lead her small team out of the catacombs and onto the surface of the city.

She had half expected to find the citizens to live in poverty or even be enslaved in some way, yet the trio didn't find anything of the sort.

Instead, they found everyone living their lives peacefully and normally.

There were obvious signs of a battle. Damage buildings, Gear footsteps imprinted in the streets.

But there were Crescent Gears there, fixing the damages, with technology that placed some kind of grey goo which molded itself into the missing walls, and such to repair the buildings.
