3rd person POV:

Yn and Luna stood up against the link series gears in their human android bodies to get their Gears back.

Prepared for a brawl, the two were about to attack until Aibella appeared and bonked all five of them out of anger that they left her to do something on her own.

They were all put to work, besides the king who went to sit on the couch.

Rightfully being confused, Aibella revealed herself to be Aiba Nexstar, the artificial intelligence created by Azrexel's old pilot and the founder of Nexstar industries, Tony Nexstar.

(Aiba aka Aibella Nexel)

Yn:... Eh?

Luna: Aiba...? That means you're the AI that Nexstar Industries use!

Aibella: No, I was the AI they used, but after I took my husband and his siblings, then hid them here, Nexstar industries just made a replica of me.

Aibella: A hollow copy, nothing more.

Conner: Yeah! No one is better than mommy!

Aibella:(giggles)

She picks up Conner.

Aibella:(smiles) That's right, my perfect little sweetheart.

Aibella then nuzzles Conner's nose with her own.

Aibella: Nuzzle nuzzle nuzzle nuzzle nuzzle~

Conner:(giggling)

Yn/Luna:(look at one other, confused)

Yn/Luna:(shrug)

Rex: Stop babying him.

Aibella: I have not gotten to see him in several months, I will "baby" him as much as I want!

Rex:(rolls eyes) Ugh...

Aibella: You're just jealous that you can't do it anyway. Isn't that right, Conner?

Conner: Yeah!

Aibella:(smug look) See?

Rex:...

Luna: As pleasant as it is to witness this reunion, we have several questions that we request that they be answered!

Aibella: Right, right...

Aibella: Where should we start?

Yn: How about... The beginning?

Luna: Yes. Let's go chronologically.

Aibella: Okay, fair enough. Guess I should ease you two in before getting to the important stuff...

Aibella: Take a seat.

Begrudgingly, Yn and Luna take a seat on the couch with Azrexel. They all glared at each other before Aibella began explaining after putting Conner in the pilot simulation training to play so he wouldn't hear.

Aibella: As you probably already know from your history books, the link series Gears kinda went rogue after their pilots passed away.

Rex:...

Aibella: Guess rouge is a strong word... Still, people didn't like them roaming around.

Aibella: So they tried to take them by force, which almost led to the destruction of a city.

Rex:...

Aibella: I knew that they were just greaving.... and that humanity no longer needed them.

Aibella: So I took them away and hid them here where they could spend the rest of their days.

Luna: Where is here?

Aibella: Earth's moon.

Luna/Yn:!?

Yn: You're saying we came from Neptune all the way back to Earth!?

Aibella: Yep.

Luna: How has no one found this place.

Aibella: We're a couple of kilometers below the surface of the moon.

Aibella: This whole complex is a mix of the ship known as the S.S Box³, an old military base, and carved out moon bits.

Yn: Swick...

Luna: So all of you have just been hiding here?

Aibella: They haven't left the complex in centuries.

Aibella: I however have snuck back into Nexstar industries, every once and a while as a worker. Borrowing some technology here and there.

Aibella: But every time I go back, I realize how much it's changed since he started it...

Rex: They started a mess which made us interfere.

Luna: Interfere? Why? Is it because of the technology they were hiding?

Aibella:... Not exactly that.

Aibella: About a hundred years ago... The CEO of Nexstar industries wanted to build a Jupiter Brain.

Yn: Jupiter Brain?

Aibella: A planet-size support computer with the processing power to simulate all of human history and thoughts in almost an instant.

Aibella: A computer that powerful would be more intelligent than anyone who has or will come to existence in the solar system.

Yn/Luna:!?

Aibella: The CEO planned on using the blueprints the founder made for an expo years ago.

Aibella: I tried to stop him, for there were many flaws with the plans and many failsafe's that hadn't been figured out yet.

Aibella: To stop him, I got rid of the plans, and stole the massive deposit of Nexium.

Luna: Nexium...?

Aibella: It's a naturally forming alloy that Nexstar discovered but I guess the industry hasn't quite revealed.

Luna: Just another thing they've hidden...

Yn: So why did you steal this Nexium?

Aibella: To build Solas and Lunas.

Yn/Luna:!?

Aibella: You could say that they were I and Azrexel's firstborns. That's why I kinda got mad when you made the two fight so roughly.

Yn: And why you nuzzle him...

Luna: I don't care about that. Tell me, why did you create them?

Aibella: There were several reasons... But I guess the main one would be...

Rex: They are a contingency plan in case Nexstar industries ever tried to build a Jupiter Brain again or worse, succeeded.

Luna: Which is it?

Rex: With the information, we have, they are trying to build one, now.

Yn: Now?

Aibella: I believe when Lunas was awakened it caused Solas to exit his hiding spot in the sun in search of a pilot.

Aibella: The events after that led to where we are now.

Luna: So this is my fault?

Aibella/Rex: No/Yes.

Aibella:(sigh)

Aibella: We can't blame you for coming across Lunas or for him choosing you.

Luna:...

Yn: There is something you haven't explained yet.

Aibella: Hm?

Yn: Where does the kid fit into this?

Aibella: You mean Conner?

Aibella:... During one of my infiltrations into Nexstar industries, I found out about their pilot creation program.

Aibella: They were growing humans that they planned to fill with cybernetics to create the perfect pilots.

Aibella: When he was a baby, I adopted him into our family.

Aibella: I kinda thought maybe, he could be the pilot for Solas and Lunas.

Yn and Luna's thoughts go to Saiko.

Yn: Is Saiko...

Aibella: Yes. She's what Conner could have become and what I apparently failed to stop her from becoming.

Luna: You couldn't save her as well?

Aibella: She didn't exist then. I'm quite positive that Saiko is younger than Conner.

Luna:(mumbles) Disgusting...

Luna:... Yn, it seems our goals are aligned now.

Yn: Beat the crap out of Nexstar industries before they create a giant brain that could go rogue.

Yn: So we need to get stronger. Aibella!

Aibella: You don't need to shout...

Yn: Can you upgrade Solas and Lunas?

Aibella: I'm already doing that.

Aibella: My siblings-in-law are currently deconstructing Lunas's meteor to extract all the Nexium we need.

Yn: What about the Nexium from Helios? Do we need that?

Aibella: The mentors are identical. Besides, I'm quite positive that Nexstar industries have taken it and used it to make the Eclipse Gears.

Luna: So how are we going to "get stronger" exactly?

Aibella: By making it easier for you two to keep up with the Eclipse gears and making it easier for you two to use Solas and Lunas's power.

Luna: Again, How?

Aibella: By customizing them to fit you.

Yn:!

Yn: Oh! I'm getting fired up now!

Aibella: Now let's get to it, so you two can rest and heal your injuries.
