3rd person POV:

A few minutes before the Gear battle between Cynthia and Theo, the first mate was sitting in front of her Gear as Aibella checked Valkyrie since they recently equipped it with all its weapons.

Yn in the meantime was getting Cynthia psyched up for the battle since he couldn't be the one to fight Theo.

Yn: Don't worry Cynthia, you got this!

The ace pilot shouted at his mentor figure while massaging her shoulder with great intense force.

Cynthia: I'm not worried about this old man. (Grunts)

Cynthia: And what- Ugh,  are you doing?

Yn: This is what trainers do to warm up their competing students.

Cynthia: If anyone is a student in this relationship, it's you.

Yn: Do you want me to rub your shoulders or not?

Cynthia:... Fine, keep going. You're actually relieving a lot of stress in my shoulders.

Yn: Why do you have stress in your shoulders?

Cynthia: There's this hot-headed kid that I'm responsible for, that can't help but get in trouble.

Yn: Better not be me...

Cynthia: It's you.

Yn: Tch...

Cynthia: I wouldn't mind it if you gave me massages more often. You'd actually be kinda worth having around then.

Yn: Hire a masseuse.

Cynthia: But you're free labor.

Yn: You know, I hear pulling and twisting one's ear can help get them ready for the day.

Cynthia: Try it, and I'll kick your ass.

Yn: Is that a challenge!?

Ryuka: Okay, I'll take over hot head.

The Hotshot says as she slides herself in between the two and continues where Yn left off.

Cynthia: I could get used to everyone massaging me...

Cynthia: Aibella, is it ready?

Aibella: Yeah, yeah, everything is good to go.

Cynthia: Then I better get going.

Standing up, Cynthia enters her Gear and stood on Standby for Theo to get ready.

She didn't have to wait long for that to occur.

(Opening theme)

Cynthia entered a large open arena in her Gear, Valkyrie, which was now in its complete state with the PEG.ß wings, Fin-Fang shield, and Valkyrie blade.

(Valkyrie: Fully Equipped)

The arena was the size of a whole orbital city, giving her a vast amount of room to work with. At first glance, there were no structures, just flat land.

With no point in worrying about the arena, Cynthia began worrying about the names of her equipment.

Cynthia: PEG.ß wings...Fin-Fang shield... Who let Yn name these things?

Yn:(coms) Hey, If they were named by me, they would all start with "BQ".

Ron:(coms) BQ? What does BQ stand for?

Cynthia: NO-!

Yn/Aibella:(coms) Boobie Queen...(chuckles) (high five)

Cynthia: Ugh... You just had to ask...

Ron:(coms) My bad.

Cynthia: Tch... Just remind me to tear those two a new one, later...

Ron:(coms) Will do.

Yn:(coms) Oi, you started it with the jab to my naming convention.

Cynthia: Aibella, go over what everything can do for me, one more time, alright?

Aibella:(coms) Alright.

Aibella:(coms) Wing, let you fly. Even with Gravity, you should be able to fly, but you're faster in space.

Aibella:(coms) Shield. Can shield you, if you didn't know. The end of it is pretty sharp, could probably stab someone with it.

Aibella:(coms) The shield also can widen with energy to give you some more cover. There's also a fully automatic beam gun that it can fire.

Aibella:(coms) Last but not least, your sword. Count yourself lucky...

Aibella:(coms) Because that thing is as sharp as one of the katanas of the legendary Red Gear Azrexel.

Cynthia: Neat.

Aibella:(coms) Neat...? NEAT!? That thing cost as much as the S.S Dawn if it was brand new!!

Aibella:(coms) It can slice through Gears like butter with enough force, and you say "NEAT"!?

Aibella:(coms) Listen- I can't believe I'm getting upset over a giant sword... Whatever, it's very neat.

Yn:(coms) Before the battle begins, tell me, do you have a finishing move?

Cynthia:(sigh)... Yeah, sure, why not...

A large Gear then landed with a thunderous slam which caused a dust cloud to form.

Not interested in waiting for the dust to settle, Cynthia waved Valkyrie's shield arm, causing the dust to be blown away, revealing Theo's Gear.

The pride of Jupiter, which has represented it in many battles.

(Jupiter's warrior: Zeus)

Cynthia:(mind) Large and bulky... Out maneuvering it is.

Cynthia:(speaker) Shall we begin?

Theo:(speaker) Yes.

Zeus approaches Valkyrie faster than Cynthia anticipated.

It raised its leg high then quickly dropped it down, performing an ax kick which seemingly had electricity surrounding it.

(SLAM)

With a mighty kick that sounded like thunder, Theo looked down to see Zeus's leg got blocked by Valkyrie's shield.

Cynthia:(speaker)... Heh... Looks like I'm not that rusty. Which is bad news for you.

(Valkyrie's theme)

With Valkyrie's wings, Cynthia rose off the ground, and with Zeus's leg laying on her shield, it caused Theo to stumble back.

Now air born, Cynthia goes on the attack.

Flying straight up to him, she swings her sword multiple times. Theo raises Zeus's arm to defend.

After several light swings, Valkyrie winded back her arm for a heavy strike, which was actually a ploy to get Zeus to drop his guard and attack.

Theo didn't fall for it. Instead, he hopped back and created some distance.

Electricity began sparking between the spikes on Zeus like a tesla coil. Theo then fired bolts of electricity at Cynthia, who blocked it with her shield on instinct.

She regretted it quickly when she remembered metal conducts electricity, but when the shield blocked the attack, Cynthia was pleasantly surprised.

Cynthia:(mind) So this is what an expensive, high-grade Gear is like.

Her lips curled up into a grin.

Cynthia:(mind) Oh Captain...you shouldn't spoil me like this.

Flying around Zeus, Cynthia attempts to strike Theo from behind. The old man was able to turn around and strike at Cynthia with a great punch.

Raising her shield, Cynthia was launched back.

Valkyrie dug her heels into the ground along with having her thrusters jet her forward until she ground to a halt.

Raising her shield at the verging Zeus, Valkyrie unleashed a volley of beam fire at the Jupiter Gear.

This made Theo raise his Gears arms in defense as he ran forward.

Ar the last minute, Valkyrie stepped aside and strikes Zeus with her sword as he passed her.

Zeus then jumped into close combat with Valkyrie. Swinging his arms as a boxer would, Theo was getting serious, but the younger lady was only getting warmed up.

With her shield, she would deflect a few of his attacks, but the rest she would hop back with the help of her flight pack.

She made him feel as if he was pushing her, but in actuality, Cynthia was in full control of the situation.

Yn:(coms) Cynthia, come on, stop playing around, he's just an old man!

Yn:(coms) So destroy him with an epic finishing move!

Ryuka:(coms) Fuck the elderly I guess...

Cynthia: Captain?

Jacklin:(coms) Direx is right. We have a war to fight. Show him what we are made.

Cynthia: Yes ma'am!

Valkyrie then swung her sword upwards and release the blade at the peak of the swing, letting go flying in the air.

This caught Theo's attention. The move confused him for a second before he turned his gaze back to Cynthia who was already reaching out to him.

Valkyrie then gripped the neck of Zeus.

Cynthia:(speaker) Death! Grip! Pull!

With one quick pull and some help from her thrusters, Valkyrie tore a large chunk of Zeus's neck out before punching the Gear to the ground.

Valkyrie's sword then landed next to Zeus's head, ending the battle.

Cynthia: Are you happy, Yn?

Yn:(coms) Yes because you did it! No, because you stole the name I called dibs on!

Cynthia: If you continue complaining, I'll death grip pull your lips off.

Jacklin:(coms) Cynthia...

Cynthia: Yes, Captain?

Jacklin:(coms) Good job.

Cynthia:...(smiles)

With the battle done, Theo had no choice but to accept the Crews strength.
