3rd person POV:

Yn and Luna, after falling asleep, woke up, feeling warm, calm, and snug in each other's company.

Yn:...

Luna:...

Still, in the arms of one another, they contemplate whether or not to let go.

Yn:... If we were in school, we'd probably never hear the end of this if someone found out about it.

Luna: Good thing we're not in school then... But if we were... Do you think we would have been friends?

Yn: I'd like to think so.

Yn:... Hey... Do you feel better now?

Luna: Somewhat...

Yn: Then I give the role of rationality back to you.

Luna: Fine. I was better at it anyway.

Luna:... We should probably get something to eat.

Yn: Actually...(slight blush)... Nevermind!

Luna: Hm?

Yn: It's nothing.

Ending the hug, he gets up.

Yn: So... How does this go? Do we never talk about this again or just not in front of others?

Luna: Let's just not talk about this in front of anyone and see from there.

She told him while standing up.

Yn: Cool...

Grabbing her helmet and putting it on, the two then leave to get breakfast.

Aibella entered the cafeteria to find Yn and Luna eating together.

Aibella: Interesting... You two seem to be feeling better, yet neither one of you is injured.

Aibella: Did you two... Talk?

Yn: Is that really weird?

Aibella: Kinda. Was there truly no violence?

Luna: He flipped a table.

Aibella: Ah. It all makes sense now.

Aibella: Since I have you here, Luna can you go tell Lunas you're okay after you're done eating?

Luna:?

Luna: Why?

Aibella: He's been worried about you.

Yn: Aw, how sweet.

Luna: Tch... Very well.

Yn:(chuckles)

Juliet:(P.A system) Pilots! To your Gears! Immediately!

Everyone:?!

Yn: No rest for us.

Quickly stuffing his face with what was left of his breakfast, Yn and Luna then run off to the hanger.

Getting inside their Gears, Solas was ready to launch while Lunas was still preparing.

Luna: What's taking so long?

A chibi Lunas appeared on her holographic screen.

Luna:...

Luna:(glares) You...

Luna:(sigh).... I'm fine. Is that what you want to hear?

Lunas was ready to launch.

Luna:(mumbles) Unbelievable...

The twin Gears immediately launched as soon as Jacklin gave the green light.

Seeing Earth, their attention was brought immediately away from humanities beginning, to the large sum of Gears in some kind of battle.

Zooming in, they saw two familiar Gears were fighting the rest that was around.

Yn:?!

Yn: Ryuka and Cynthia?

Without thinking, Yn flew Solas in to aid them. Getting in the middle of the Gear dogpile that was happening around Freyja and Valkyrie.

Placing himself in front of Cynthia, Yn sent a wave of flames towards the Gears to blind their sight long enough for him to land a punch.

Yn: HI-

Jacklin:(coms) Yn, no! Those Gears are with U.S.R.A.P.U!

Yn: Huh?!

Holding back his punch, Yn looked confusingly behind to see Valkyrie smash her shield into Solas knocking him back into the U.S.R.A.P.U Gears.

U.S.R.A.P.U pilot:(coms) Hey! What are you doing!?

Yn: S-sorry! Didn't know we were on the same team!

Jacklin:(coms) This is Captain Trudian. All units, excluding the Solar and Lunar Gears, retreat and create a perimeter of 50.

U.S.R.A.P.U pilot:(coms) Wh- r-roger!

The U.S.R.A.P.U Gears retreat back, giving Yn and Luna some room to work.

Luna:(coms) Can someone explain why your people are attacking more of your people?

Aibella:(coms) Yn, Luna, get close so your Gears can scan those two more accurately.

Luna: So you don't know...(sarcastically) That's a good sign...

Yn: Luna, you take Ryuka, I got Cynthia.

Luna: Alright.

Luna:(mind) I have no idea which is who.

Solas speeded off towards Valkyrie, leaving Lunas only one alternative. That being to go after Freyja.

Lunas had to dodge Freyja's shots to get close, which at first seemed difficult, but in reality, it was much easier than she anticipated, for her aim had diminished since last time for some reason.

Solas in the meantime crashed straight into Valkyrie who was not fast enough to block, leaving her to be put in a headlock as Lunas put Freyja in a chokehold.

They had both forgotten that they were fighting Gears, but their methods worked nonetheless.

Yn: Cynthia, what's up with you!?

Scanning the Gears, they found that Cynthia and Ryuka were the ones piloting their Gears, yet there was something else afoot than betrayal.

And Aibella was the one who noticed it.

With her twins so close, they were able to see in great detail how their link system was operating.

Aibella:(coms) Oh no...

Luna: What is it?

Aibella:(coms) I believe Dyson got to them.

Luna: Huh?

Jacklin:(coms) Aibella, explain.

Aibella:(coms) Ryuka and Cynthia are currently puppets.

Yn: How?

Aibella:(coms) The Jupiter fucker is basically using their Gears link system to control them.

Yn: That's possible?!

Aibella:(coms) For a superintelligence.

Jacklin:(coms) How do we fix this?

Aibella:(coms) Disable the Gears. I suggest breaking the heads.

Aibella:(coms) The main part of the Link system is usually positioned there, and there's less of a risk of harming them.

Yn: Got it!

Yn: Sorry, Cynthia, but I gotta cave your head, to save you!

Yn: HIY-

Dyson:(broadcasting) Taking these useful pawns won't be that easy.

Everyone:!?!

Freyja fired off her rifle, causing it and Lunas to begin spinning which gave it the perfect shot to fire at Solas.

Yn:(grunts)

Getting hit, Yn accidentally releases Valkyrie who swings around and thrusts its shield that ignites a beam blade from its tip.

With his flames, Solas launches himself upward to avoid the hit.

Valkyrie then flew off towards Freyja and Lunas.

Yn: Hold up!

Ron:(coms) Yn, behind you! We have more guests!

Yn:?

Turning around Yn saw more Gears. Three Gears were close enough to attack him, but there were more Gears in the distance fighting the U.S.R.A.P.U Gears with a ship of their own.
