Tomorrow was going to be one of the biggest days of my life. I was going to a job interview in the biggest company in New York, It was a big position and i was ecstatic. I had already prepared my suit and everything i needed, when suddenly my boyfriend ran in and hugged me tightly, squeezing the air out of my lungs.
"I can't wait for tomorrow!!" He squealed and I rolled my eyes. "Of course, it's my-"

"VALENTINE!!" He interrupted throwing his hands in the air.

"Wait what?!"

He grinned and for some reason I suddenly felt goosebumps. "Im going to take you on a date, just me and you" he said his sea green eyes boring into mine. I shivered and he held me again, and for some reason the familiar warmth was gone.

I had blown it. My life was officially over. Okay, so maybe I did turn down our "date" but I needed this job and guess what? I messed that up as well. It didn't help matters that the blond interviewer was staring at me the whole time with his annoying grin of his. (And I might've stared back but you didn't hear that from me)
So yeah. I did get the job but then I found out that Percy, my boyfriend, had been cheating on me with a girl named Annie Bell or something?

So yeah. My life was full of schist right now, and it didn't help that everywhere I went the annoying face of Cupid followed me.

It was around 5 pm and I was ready to call it a day and just try to cease from existence completely, when the doorbell rang. I groaned and got up to open it. There was a guy standing there holding some papers. Blond hair? Blue eyes? Golden retriever? Typical California dude? The interviewer this morning? Double check all of them.
My heart did a backflip and that was saying something since I couldn't backflip in real life.

"Hi" he said breathlessly. "You forgot your papers". I mentally cursed myself for forgetting, and I reached towards them but he pulled them away. "What the hades?"

"Will you go out with me?" He asked. I blinked twice. "What?!". He repeated the question patiently with a smug grin on his face. I couldn't help blushing and tried to hide it but he had seen and started laughing. "You're so blushing" he said. "Am not!" I replied my face turning hotter. "A date in exchange for your papers?" He said teasingly waving my papers out of reach. I wanted to be taller right then and there. "Fine" I said. And he handed it to me. And in that second he leaned down our faces almost touched and I suddenly forgot how to breath.

"Pick you up at 9" he said winking before walking away and I felt like turning into a puddle of mush. A really really gay mush.
