Nico's POV

I knew a storm was happening. Heck, I created the storm. Advantages of being a merman. I get to control the weather of the sea at times.
What I didn't expect was for a young, extremely attractive human boy to fall overboard the ship. 'Whoops.... Didn't mean to try and kill anyone.'  I thought as I swam closer to him. He was slowly losing conscious. Water going into his lungs, making it hard for him to breathe. 'Damn, he's hot.' I was right beside him now, leaning closer and closer towards his face. 'Wait... I feel like I've seen him before.' For some reason, I felt a strong connection pulling me towards him. I paused. He couldn't be right? I mean.. It's rare for it to be a human. Slowly, I pressed my lips on his. A light blue glow surrounded him, taking away the water in his lungs and allowing him to breathe. Oh gosh... This is my soulmate? Eh, not complaining. He's cute. After a minute or two, the human took in a sharp breath and flicked open his eyes. HOT DAYYYYYMMNNNNN, THEY ARE GORGEOUS WOW! I found myself staring at him. "Um.... Hello? Wait... What did you do? How am I breathing right now?! What happened to me?!?!" It took me a while to process what he had said. "Chill. I just used some of my 'powers' to help you breathe. But.... since I worked that means your-" I decided to mumble the rest of the sentence. It was awkward enough that it was a MALE, HUMAN person. Like, does he think he's straight? I'm definitely not.
