"I know," Jasmine said with a sigh. With that, she sat back down, facing Billy Black.
"I never wanted to hide something like this from all of you," Jasmine started off. Jacob grasped her hand, supporting her through her explanation. Jasmine smiled at Jacob in thanks, and then continued her explanation,
"The only person who knows about this is my Nana Rose. She was the one who explained it all to me, the day that my parents died. That was the first day that my powers had started to manifest," Jasmine stated. Billy had looked down after what she had said, as had the rest of the pack.
"I did not know what was going on, and when I had gone to her, she had told me everything about my family's heritage. Well, from my mother's side of the family." I finished.
"I understand that is the origin of your story, but what can you actually do, other than kill plants," Paul asked. Sam hit him on the top of his head, and Jasmine giggled at Paul's question.
"Come on, I can show you what I can do," Jasmine said. With that, she had gotten up and started to walk outside, with a skip in her step. As she walked outside, the pack and Billy began to follow her outside, curious to know the full extent of her powers.
When she placed her foot on the grass, flowers were growing around her feet; Jasmine had paid no mind to it. It looked as though she was in her natural state, which was, in fact true. Jasmine looked at one with nature. Jacob thought that Jasmine had never looked more beautiful than today.
"These flowers growing around me is something that I can do. I can give nature both life and take life as well. Though, I had never killed plants before the day that my powers were revealed," Jasmine said.
"That's about all that I can do, I basically control plant growth. Hence the flower shop," Jasmine finished as she shrugged.
Everyone had stared at Jasmine in silence, taking in the new information about a person who they deemed as part of their family. Sam was the first one to snap out of his trance and stand next to Jasmine.
"This does not change anything. I will always be your cousin, your brother," Sam stated. Jasmine sighed out of relief, she did not know if the pack would accept her after learning her truth, even if they were also supernatural.
"I still care about you, nothing has changed," Jacob said causing Jasmine to turn her head towards his direction. The whole pack was smiling at her, their gazes unwavering from the girl. Jasmine smiled back out of pure joy, happy that everyone had accepted her, and held no inhibitions to the new information.
Though, as the pack was accepting Jasmine, there was a man in the woods staring the girl and the pack, them oblivious to his presence. Then, saying to himself,
"I have found you,"
