Jacob and Jasmine had made it to a diner, with Jacob being a nervous wreck. He had no idea of how to talk to Jasmine, and he did not want to mess up his first date with his imprint. The same could be said for Jasmine, as she was nervous around the guy who she had recently developed feelings for. With that, it was awkward, to say the least.

"So how's life going?" Jacob asked. Jasmine sighed to herself and instead of reply to Jacob's question, she said,

"Can we not have an awkward first date?" Jasmine said. This caused Jacob's eyes to widen in shock, not expecting his imprint to be this blunt. He then composed himself, and said,

"I just wanted to make a good impression, I didn't want to screw up the first date," Jacob said. Jasmine smiled and said,

"Then I want to get to know the real Jacob Black," Jasmine said. Jacob grasped Jasmine's hand and dragged her out to the forest, Jasmine not questioning as to why they had left the diner.

"If you want to get to know the real Jacob, you need to be in my natural element, the forests," Jacob said. Jasmine nodded her head in understanding and Jacob led them to a field of flowers.

"Lucky for you, nature has always called out to me," Jasmine said. They had both laid down on the field, looking at the sky. For once, Jasmine felt at peace, she felt happy. Jacob then turned to look at Jasmine and said,

"Tell me something about you that no one knows," Jacob said. That caused Jasmine's eyes to snap open. She turned her body to look at Jacob and said,

"Only if you tell me something," Jasmine said with a smile. Jacob said,

"Deal." and with that Jasmine spoke,

"I love dancing," Jasmine said. Jacob rolled his eyes and said,

"Anyone could know that," Jacob said. Jasmine stood up and defended herself,

"No, but you see, I've never danced in front of anyone. I always did it on my own, where no one could see me dancing," Jasmine said. 

"You could say that I have a little stage fright," Jasmine said. She started to play with her hands due to the nervousness creeping back. Almost as though Jacob could sense her discomfort,

"Well, something that no one knows at the moment is that I crushing hard on someone," Jacob said. With that being said, Jasmine deflated, not thinking of the possibility that he could be talking about her.

"That's only half, who do you have a crush on?" Jasmin asked. Jacob grasped her hand and rubbed the top of it. He then leaned down next to Jasmine's ear, 

"You," Jacob said. That caused Jasmine to stand up in shock, away from Jacob. Jacob pouted at first, and then stood up with her,

"You can't have a crush on me," Jasmine said.

"Why not?" Jacob replied.

"Because I'm me. I'm weird and it's not like we've spent a lot of time together. Also, how can you be sure if you like me? Does Sam know you like me?" Jasmine started to ramble. As she was breathing heavily, Jacob came to her aid and grabbed her face in his hands. 

"I like you for being you," Jacob stated while looking into her eyes. Jasmine started to calm down and then did something that she did not expect that she would do. 

Jasmine kissed Jacob. To both of them, it felt like heaven, but while they were caught up in their kiss, they did not take into account the red eyes that were staring at the couple.
