"Jasmine, Jake's here to pick you up," Emily shouted upward to Jasmine's room. She rushed to put on her heels, almost tripping in the process, and made it to the front door. 

For the first time, Jacob was wearing clothes which were a bit more formal for his graduation, and when he saw Jasmine, his jaw dropped in shock. She looked ethereal almost, Jacob felt like he was in heaven, and she was his angel.

"Jasmine, you look amazing," Jacob said. He held his arm out towards her, and she grabbed his arm for support. With a wave, Jasmine and Jacob both left to a car that was parked in front of Sam's house.

"So, are you excited to be finally done with high school?" Jasmine asked. As Jacob was opening the door for her. Jacob went to the other side of the car and sat down. He then answered,

"yeah I am, I can finally stop going to school now," Jacob answered. 

They had made it to the school in silence, with the radio playing in the background. Though the silence was not awkward, it was calming. Soon enough, everyone had walked across the stage and gotten their high school diploma, with Jasmine cheering each person on.

"Congrats you guys!" Jasmine said once the pack came together. Everyone had given Jasmine a hug in thanks, though, Jacob looked as though he was about to murder someone with the glares that he was giving the guys. Once the guys realized that the glares were directed towards them, they tentatively hugged Jasmine and then stepped away from her. Keeping some distance. After congratulating everyone, Seth said, 

"So guys, wanna head back to Sam's?" Seth asked the group. While everyone had said yes, Jacob had intervened,

"Actually, why don't you guys go ahead. I need to talk with Jasmine," Jacob replied. Jasmine looked at Jacob in confusion, she thought that he would want to spend time with his friends. Though, those thoughts were immediately halted when Jacob started to drag Jasmine away from the pack. While intertwining their hands, causing butterflies to flutter in both Jacob and Jasmine's stomaches. 

"I thought that you wanted to spend time with everyone else. You all graduated together today. You all should celebrate," Jasmine said. Jacob turned his head to her and said,

" I actually wanted to spend some time together today. That was why I invited you to our graduation," Jacob said, and then he added on,

"So, do you want to go to lunch together?" Jacob asked. Jasmine replied,

"With the rest of the group?" She asked. Jacob shook his head and took both her hands in his own and said,

"No, I was thinking just the two of us," Jacob said. Inside, he was scared out of his mind that she might say now, that she would reject him.

"So like a date?" Jasmine asked.

"Yes, a date," Jacob said. They both smiled at that, and Jasmine kissed Jacob's cheek again, and said,

"Yes, I would love to go to lunch together," with that they both headed to the car, excited out of their minds for their date.
