Tara and Theon stood on the shore watching the ships. It would only be minutes before they would leave for Westeros. Tara wasn't all that excited. She felt sick looking at the boat.
Nonetheless, they were aboard the ship again for the long journey.
It was a long ride for Tara.
She was leaning on the railing of the ship. Watching the waves move as the ship cut through them. She threw up over into the sea.
Theon put his hand on her back trying to comfort her. She threw up once again in the sea water. She breathed heavily trying to get back to normal. She thought she was done until once again she felt it coming up again.
Every morning it became a routine for Tara. She would wake up and immediately find herself on the side of the boat throwing up. Theon tried his best to comfort her as much as he could.
"Kind of funny you, a Greyjoy, ended up marrying a woman who can't handle the seas." Yara said later at night to Theon.
Theon looked over at Yara, not all that amused. "She has only been on a ship once before."
Yara shrugged and took a drink. "I can't decide if it's actually the seas or not."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Theon asked.
"Nothing little brother." Yara said. She patted Theon on the back. "Now I have to find myself either another drink or a good whore."
She walked away and left Theon alone again. She was already back in the crowd of Iron Born on deck.
Theon immediately left and went to find Tara. Maybe Yara was right. Maybe something was wrong with Tara. Theon wouldn't be able to hand it if she was sick. He barged into their quarters and found her sleeping in the bed. However, her eyes flickered open upon his entrance.
"Is everything okay?" Tara asked. Theon immediately regretted how he entered the room. His worry was getting the best of him.
"Sorry." Theon said. He sat down on the bed.
"What's wrong?" Tara sat up next to him.
"It's nothing. Yara was, talking." Theon said, "And I just worry about you."
Tara averted her eyes to the wooden planks on the ground. She hated to make Theon worry. She hated that she was so sick all of a sudden.
"I'm okay. I'll always be right here." Tara wrapped her arms around him.
Theon turned and wrapped himself around her too. He felt silly. If something was wrong, he knew that Tara would tell him. They sat there on the bed just together for a long time. They didn't need to say anything. They just had to be together.

It was late at night.
Tara turned on her side and watched Theon fast asleep. She was glad to see him sleeping so well. If only she could too.
Tara ever so slowly got out of bed. She didn't want to wake Theon. He would just worry about her.
Tara walked up to the deck of the ship. She had been doing this every night. She would lean against the side of the ship and watch the stars if she could. If it was more stormy, she would watch the waves crash in every direction around them.
Something was very wrong.
Tara knew it. She hadn't bled in two months.
But she didn't know how to even say it to herself. She didn't know how to talk to Theon or even admit to herself that it was real. Even thinking about it was too much to bear but she knew.
She knew she had Ramsay's child inside of her.
