Commenting your number is going to be something we do for every update just so I can be sure you've seen it. If you don't comment in three days I'll pm (pm? or dm? whatever) you just to make sure. :)

I'm going to give you guys the prompt early for the first round! That means that you'll have basically a whole two weeks to write your one shot! I'm not going to have higher expectations though because you have more time, so don't feel like you have to work extra hard. :)

So a few more things to add!

1. One shots will always be due the Wednesday the week after the prompt is given at 11:59 pm PST (Pacific Time). To be safe, I recommend just finishing them by the end of Tuesday. Here's the schedule once again if you're confused on what each round will look like (besides this round since we're starting early):

Saturday: Evaluation period

Sunday: Those moving on to the next round will be announced, and scores will be sent to those who wanted to see their scores :)

Monday: REPEAT

2. Just for funsies, on Sunday I will also announce which one shot had the highest score (I won't say the score, but just that it was the highest). This is fun, and it lets you guys know about your competition, and also you can just go read it because it's a good read! Additionally, since half of you guys will be eliminated each round :( if you get a high score, but get eliminated the next round you'll still feel accomplished. If anyone is opposed to this idea comment here ------>

3. Please, please, please make sure to comment or pm me telling me the name of your one shot book! It makes it easier to find your one shots and I can add it to my contestant list just so I have all the info in one place.

4. Also, please remember to add this book to your reading list, I want y'all to be able to know when the info comes out!

Here is who you will be going against!

As you can see, the person you are going against is on the bar (above or below yours) that is connected to yours by a vertical line. For example, @llamas4life13 is against @Mythicalisforreal in the first round. THE LAYOUT OF THE BRACKET IS ENTIRELY RANDOM. I used a randomized generator to create an order, it isn't biased in any way, I promise. If you have any issues with who you're going against, please inform me, but as far as I know it's fine.

Now, some of you were confused about how the eliminations work. For example, in the scenario displayed above (this in no way represents what will occur, I merely used the top two because they were the top two)@llamas4life13 had a higher score than @Mythicalisforreal in the first found and @sophiesuffers2000 had a higher score than @Groot123 (again, this doesn't mean anything it's just for demonstration purposes). Since @llamas4life13 and @sophiesuffers2000 both had a higher score than their opponent, they will move on to the next round and have their usernames written on the line protruding from the vertical line. The highlights represent that. Then they will face off against each other and so forth. That's how it'll work for all pairs of opponents. There will be four rounds. In the first there will be sixteen competitors, than eight, four, and then two from which the winner shall be crowned :)
