The Enchancia Royal Family arrives at the Avalor Royal Palace.

Shuriki and Esteban exit the carriage to guide the visiting royals around the palace.

"The palace was built centuries ago. It's a little busy if you ask me." Shuriki commented.

After a while, the guide ends in Shuriki's throne room.

"And this is my throne room! I spend most of my time here. So... what do you think?" The queen asked.

Roland looked very amazed at Shuriki's throne. It was completely made of diamonds. "That's... quite a throne."

Shuriki smiled as she sat down. "Thank you. It took them over a decade to dig up all the diamonds. But... it was worth the wait."

Shuriki then gasped when she saw James toying with a fabric on the wall. She stood up and pointed. "Don't touch that!"

Roland saw his son, and sighed. "James, where are your manners?"

The rest of the royals looked at Shuriki, who came up with an excuse. "It's a very delicate fabric."

Esteban placed a hand on James's shoulder.

"Come along, my boy. You all must be famished after such a long journey. So I... I mean the queen, had the chefs prepare a taste of the local cuisine." Esteban said.

Lunch time!

Shuriki, Esteban, Armando, and the Enchancia Royal Family sat on the terrace of the Avalor Royal Palace together, eating lunch.

"Oh, the view from up here is lovely, Queen Shuriki." Miranda praised.

"I can't wait to go back down to the city and check out the beautiful old houses." Sofia said as a handmaiden topped off her water.

Shuriki looked confused. "Old houses? That's the last thing you should be looking at, dear. Our marketplaces and park lands are second to none." She told Sofia.

Shuriki then looked to Esteban. "Esteban, clear my schedule. I shall personally give our guests a tour of the city this afternoon."

After Shuriki finished talking, three winged creatures appeared. They were Jaquins, creatures of legend.

"Hey hey! What's for lunch, Shuriki?" Asked the orange and blue Jaquin. His name was Skylar.

"What are those?" James asked.

"Oh, those are Jaquins! Creatures of legend; majestic symbols of Avalor!" Armando explained.

"They used to be symbols of our kingdom. Now, they are just a nuisance." Shuriki told Roland and Miranda.

"Why's that?" Miranda asked.

"Because we sing!" Skylar answered.

Skylar gave a laugh before he and the other two Jaquins began to sing. The reddish one was Luna and the yellow one was Migs.

From the misty jungle highlands
We fan our wings and fly
To delight all Avalorans
With our mighty Jaquin cry

Amber and James certainly seemed to be entertained.

"Brilliant!" James commented.

"Can you believe it, Sofia? Talking animals!" Amber gushed.

Sofia's nervous look went unnoticed. "Whoever heard of such a thing?"

The Jaquins finished their song, and Skylar landed on the table, grabbing the untouched turkey.

"Let's dig in, amigos!" Skylar announced.

Migs landed next, taking a ham with him. "That looks tasty. Hey! Save room for dessert, Skylar!"

"My compliments to the chef, and whoever said you should eat outside... 'cause that is a great idea!" Skylar said.

James watched in awe. "Brilliant!"

Shuriki stood up, enraged with the creatures. "Shoo! Get out of here, you pests."

Skylar feigned a pout. "Aww, but we just got here."

Luna glared at the queen. "You may tell the people what to do, but you can't boss us around. Mess with the jaquin, you get the claws."

Shuriki is infuriated. "That's it. Enough is enough!" She declared, going for the wand in her dress pocket.

Esteban stood up and prevented Shuriki from showing her true colors in front of their visitors.

"Perhaps we should continue our meal inside?" Esteban offered.

Shuriki composed herself. "Yes, yes. Let's all go inside."

Everyone began to go inside, except for Sofia. Elena caused the amulet to glow a purple glow towards the jaquins.

"Huh." Sofia commented. Elena probably wanted Sofia to ask the jaquins about Alacazar's house.

Sofia approached the three jaquins. To the left was Skylar, in the middle was Luna, and on the right was Migs.

"Mmm. Food tastes better when we take it from Shuriki." Skylar announced.

"I'll say!" Migs agreed.

"Mmm. This mango is sublime." Luna commented.

"Um... excuse me." Sofia said politely.

Skylar turned around to see her, a disinterested look in his eyes. "Hey, what are you still doing out here?"

Sofia sighed. "I'm not entirely sure. But maybe you could help me."

Skylar huffed. "We do not help friends of Shuriki." He turned away from the princess.

"I'm not her friend. My family had to visit the palace. I really came to find Alacazar's house." Sofia revealed.

Skylar looked towards Luna and Migs. "Who's Alacazar?"

"He was the old royal wizard, remember?" Migs asked.

"Oh yeah! Didn't he split after Shuriki took over?" Skylar asked.

Luna nodded. "Who could blame him? She probably would've zapped him like the king and queen... and Princesses Elena and Esme. So young." Luna said with a sad tone.

"So brave." Migs added.

"Poor Elena and Esme." Skylar lamented.

Sofia gave them a little smile. "Well... what if I told you I know a way to bring Princesses Elena and Esme back?"

Skylar turned around quickly. "You better not be toying with me, little girl! Because I am highly emotional and extremely gullible."

Sofia looked at the jaquins. "I'm telling the truth. So if one of you knows where Alacazar's house is... maybe you could take me there?"

Migs suddenly got defensive. "Whoa! What do we look like — flying horses?"

"Do you see a saddle on this back?" Luna snapped.

Skylar hopped down from his perch and walked toward Sofia.

"Relax, you two." He told Migs and Luna, before looking to the princess. "What's your name?"

"Sofia." Sofia answered.

"Well Sofia... if you can bring back Elena and Esme, I will take you to Alacazar's house — as soon as someone shows me where it is." Skylar spoke.

Migs smiled. "It's below the moon cliff. One of the old timers showed me once."

Luna and Migs prepared to take off behind Skylar, who was preparing to have Sofia rode on his back.

"Hop on, Your Highness." Skylar said.

Sofia attempted to get on Skylar's back, but failed because he was tall. Skylar saw her struggle and crouched a bit so she could get settled.

"Thanks." Sofia said.

Skylar then sat, which caused Sofia to slide off his back and into his tail.

Skylar sighed. "This is going to take some getting used to." He said and adjusted Sofia on his back.

"Hang on!" He told the young royal before taking off towards Avalor City.

Sofia looked at Avalor City with awe. "Your kingdom is beautiful." She admired.

"It looked better before Shuriki took over." Migs commented.

Luna nodded. "Yep. Sure did."

"And sounded better, too." Skylar added.

"What do you mean?" Sofia asked.

"She outlawed music." Skylar revealed.

Sofia looked confused. "Why?"

Migs answered. "She wanted everyone to forget the old Avalor."

Skylar nodded. "That's why we jaquins still sing. To remind everyone that the spirit of Avalor lives on."

"And 'cause it really bugs Shuriki." Luna added.

The jaquins break out into song.

Skylar:
Way back in the old days
Before the time of Shuriki
You could always hear music
In the streets of the city

Although now it is quiet
And the bells are not ringing
If you listen real closely
You can hear our hearts singing

Skylar, Migs and Luna:
All across the kingdom
The people are still strong
Because the spirit of Avalor
Continues to live on

Skylar:

Migs and Luna: 
Everyone everywhere

Skylar:
Even children do their part
To uphold the spirit of Avalor

They uphold the spirit of Avalor

Skylar:
The queen hushes their voices
But we gladly sing for them
The guards, they do not like it

Luna: 
No they don't

Skylar:
But we simply ignore them

Luna:  Yes we do

Skylar:
We all yearn for the day when
That old queen is sent packin'
Then you'll hear better music
Then the sound of us jaquins

Migs:
That's for sure!

The Jaquins:
All across the kingdom
The people are still strong
Because the Spirit of Avalor
Continues to live on

Skylar:
Yes every man and woman

Migs and Luna:
Everyone everywhere

Skylar:
Even children do their part
To uphold the Spirit of Avalor
With a song inside their hearts

The Jaquins:
Avalor, Avalor

Skylar:
From the parrots in their treetops

Migs and Luna:
To the the merchants in their carts

Skylar:
We feel the Spirit of Avalor
Way down deep inside of our hearts

The Jaquins:
Everyone, Everywhere
We hold the Spirit of Avalor
Avalor, Avalor
With a song inside of our hearts

Migs, Luna and Skylar fly towards the moon cliff as Sofia let out a giggle.

She's ready to free Princess Elena!
