The team consisting of Jake, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Donkey Kong and Mario and Luigi are now inside the Forest of Illusion. They know it could be puzzling. And they're right when they see a keyhole below the walkway they walk on. Mario uses a time balloon to reach the key and keyhole. Then the team decides to split up to cover more ground. Jake, Mario and Luigi take a swim in Forest of Illusion 2 where Mario assists Jake as he reaches a key and uses it to unlocked a blue switch palace where they use a silver p block to turn spinys into silver coins. After hitting the blue switch, the palace crumbles. Then Jake, Mario and Luigi continue on. The Kongs survive forest of illusion 4 and Forest of illusion 5 using flying platforms. Then they reach Forest Fortress and inform Jake, Mario and Luigi. Take says “take that fortress down then meet back with us at the forest exit ASAP." The Kongs destroy Reznor and the fortress. Then they meet their partners just as Jake slides down a pipe and slides the key into its keyhole unlocking the exit. Then they all head inside Roy's castle to confront him. As Jake fights Roy the others watch as the walls come closer. It threatens to crush em. Jake successfully defeats Roy stopping the walls completely. They head outside where Jake uses TNT to blow it. Nothing happens. Jake steps carefully closer when the castle explodes sending Jake a few feet back. He manages to put out the little fire on his coat. Then they find a pathway leading to the dangerous but tasty chocolate island. They are 1 area away from entering Bowser's area and rescuing Jake's daughter.
