Rylie's POV

We hop in my car and Neptune plugs in her phone, playing her 90's music.

I tapped my fingers along the steering wheel of my beaten down black mini van.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"Ash's school. It's a little ways west from here." Neptune replies.

"Why doesn't he go to our school?" I ask.

"He goes to a special career school." Neptune replies.

"Ah." I knew the place. I began driving until we were there. I knew it was about 20 minutes but it felt like 2 seconds.

We pulled into the bus loop and saw Ashton in his school uniform, talking to a girl while waiting to board his bus.

We pulled up behind his bus, I rolled down Neptune's window and Neptune yells, "GET IN, LOSER, WE'RE GOING SHOPPING."

I laugh while Ashton does a walk of shame over to my car, getting in the back and slamming the door harder than he needed to.

We began driving away, laughing at his schoolmates' faces.

"Did you guys really have to embarrass me?" He asked.

I ignored him, "What line is that from?" I ask

"Mean Girls." Neptune says.

"Oh. Never seen it." I say and keep my eyes on the road.

"YOU'VE NEVER SEEN MEAN GIRLS?" Neptune yells and Ashton flinches in the backseat, making me laugh.

"Nope." I shake my head.

"We're watching it. Watching it today." She emphasizes the word today.

"Okay, jeez." I laugh.

We get back to my house.

"Thanks for the ride." Ashton says, "You wanna come inside?"

"Sure." We say in unison and we stare at eachother for a moment, smirking.

We follow him inside his house after he fiddled with his key for a few minutes.

There sitting in his living room were three small boys that I knew far too well.

"Ash!" Luke exclaimed, seeming slightly annoyed.

"What?" He asks, obviously confused as to why they were in his house.

"You weren't supposed to bring them! We weren't even telling them about it." Michael exclaimed.

"Excuse me?!" Neptune said sarcastically.

"What?! Why not?" Ashton asked, even more confused.

"YouTube video." Cal sighed.

"Oh.." Was all that Ashton said.

Me and Neptune exchanged puzzled glances.

"Uh...you guys doing a cover?" Neptune asks.

"Sort of." Luke sighs, standing up and going over to Neptune and hugging her, swaying back and forth.

"Ew." I laugh and sit on Ashton's couch.

They exchange a quick kiss and Luke goes back to his guitar.

They all stare at us like we had horns growing out of our heads.

"Well?" I ask expectingly.

"Well what?" Calum asks.

"Go on. Sing." I say.
