The next few days Grace never talked to anyone. Not even her friends. She didn't even want to look anyone in the eye. Anytime someone said "Hi" or "Are you okay?" She would respond with a nod, or maybe a small "Hi" in return.

  She sat in first period. Music blasting in her earbuds. Cole was across from her. He and Emma had broken up two days ago. He secretly wanted Grace but had no confidence to even ask. Grace had just ignored him, which was hard to do when he sits across from you, and you two are working on a project.

   Grace finally got home, she landed face first onto her bed. She felt her phone vibrate. She pulled it out and saw it was a Skype request with Angel and Cole. And Mary? She hesitated at first but accepted it.

   "Grace! Thank goodness! We were worried about you!" Angel said through the phone. Grace just stayed silent. "Grace," Cole said and paused. "You can't ignore us forever." He told her. "Plus the project is due in 3 weeks, and we only have out first paragraph." He said again. "Grace.. Please.. " He said. Angel looked at the camera sadly. She slowly looked up at the camera. He eyes were red from crying.

"Its been so long since I've seen that face!" Angel said. Grace chuckled. "And even longer since I've seen you smile." Cole said. "Uh.. You may not know me. But I have all my classes with you. I-I'm Mary." Mary had said.  "Grace. Pleasure to meet you." Grace said. "Now. We still hald to continue our projects. Grace. Do you think you'll be able to meet me at Coldstone iiiiin.. About 20 minutes?" He asked.

Grace nodded. "Yeah." "Alright. See you then." He said. And hung up. Then Mary. And then Angel. She stood up, keeping her usual black hoodie with jeans and black converses.

She walked to the Coldstone near my house, she had saw him standing there on his phone. "Hey Cole." She said quietly but loudly. "Oh. Hey Grace!" He said. She noticed he had a bag that was wide but slightly flat.

  "Lets head in." He smiled and walked in. For she hadn't been to this place in atleast months. She walked in behind him as Grace looked around. "Whatcha gettin'?" He said with his cute grin.

"...maybe just banana and cheesecake.." She said. He nodded "What about you?" She asked. "Maybe just plain chocolate." He shrugged. Grace nodded. After they ordered they sat down.

  "Grace.." He said after a long silence. "I-I need to tell you something..." He said. Grace looked up from her phone. "What is it?" She said quietly.

  "I...I..." Cole gulped and swallowed air. "I... Think we should start our project." He said with a nervous smile. Grace looked at him confused but let it slide. She nodded. "I agree. Lets get started." She smiled. Cole blushed and grabbed the the wide bag. He pulled out a laptop.

"Mrs. Moore said we're aloud to print it so I decided to start." He told her. She nodded. "Ah." She said, as the two got working on the project.

         {About 3 hours later}

  The two had finished and walked out chuckling. "And then she screamed once she saw the spider on her head." The two laughed harder.

"I had a good time." Grace told him as they approached her home. "So did I." Cole replied. They stood on her doorstep. "Grace... What I really wanted to say back there​ was," Cole paused.

     "I like you....alot.."
