On the first day of my new school, I was supposed to introduce myself in front of a class of around 40 students.
And can you guess what happened?

I started sweating and salivating due to nervousness. My vision was blurred and I didn't know what to say. It was like I have lost my ability to think and speak.
So, I stood there for 2-3 minutes when the teacher noticed my hesitation. To lower the awkwardness she started asking me questions like what my hobbies are, in which school I was before, etc. I gave all the answers but mostly while stuttering.
Seriously, that was one of the most embarrassing ten minutes of my life.

Well, I don't see the point in introducing myself when eventually no one will going to like me, talk to me or even remember my name.

Does anyone else has ever experienced such situation before?
