Hajimes pov

I cuddled under the blankets refusing to get up. What's the point? Everyone I love will just end up dying anyway. What's the point in spending time with them and making memories? It will just end up hurting in the end.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by an excited knock on the door. I groaned in annoyance. Who the hell could that be?

"hajime!" it was kazuichi "come on out. I have something to show you"

"go away!" I yelled as I borrowed deeper into the blankets.

"aww come on dude please" kazuichi begged "I've been working on something pretty cool and I think you'd like it. I promise I'll leave you alone if you take one quick peak"

I sighed. He's not going to leave me alone until I open the door. Kazuichi can be pretty stubborn when he wants to be. Damn what a pain!

I opened the door to see kazuichis grinning face "look at this!" he held out what looked to be a tiny chiaki in his hands

"I spent hours making her" he said proudly "Chiaki was so important to you. To all of us. I just wanted to bring her back in some small way"

I felt tears run down my cheeks. I can't believe he went through so much trouble for me. It was really touching.

"hey are you crying?" kazuichis eyes widened "I'm so sorry hajime I didn't mean to upset you I-"

I cut him off with a hug "no its perfect. You're perfect"

"oh thank you" he blushed slightly.

I smiled at him. Maybe it will hurt in the end but that doesn't mean I should give up! I have to fight with the friends I have left. That's all I can do.
