Kazuichis pov

"owie!"

My head shot up at the sound of my little girl crying. I raced over to find cherry on her knees crying into her tiny fists while her cousins tried to confert her.

"what happened here" I demanded.

"we were playing tag and cherry tripped over the floorboard" Sonias little boy Sora explained.

"you were playing tag in the house? You kids should know better than that!" I scolded them.

"sorry uncle Kazuichi" they mumbled.

"mommy *hic* it's bleeding" she sobbed as showed me her scraped knee.

"aww it's ok baby" I said softly as I picked her up into my arms "we'll put a plaster on that and make it all better. Now come on sweetie let's go find daddy"

*time skip*

"what a mess" hajime shook his head as he put the plaster on her knee "I hope this teaches you not to run inside cherry pie"

"don't scold the poor girl hajime. She's already hurt" I sighed.

"I know" he turned to his daughter with a smile "but every injury is a chance to learn and grow. Plus when you overcome it then it shows how brave you are. Wouldn't you agree?"

"yep" she nodded as she wiped her tears away.

"good girl" hajime petted her head "you're all better now aren't you"

"mhm" she nodded as she wrapped her tiny arms around her father.

"I always knew you'd make a great father" I hugged his arm.

"and your a wonderful mother" he kissed my lips softly.

"hey!" we looked down at our pouting daughter "I want kisses too!"

We looked at each other, chuckled and kissed either side of her cheek. Making her giggle.

I can't believe I have such a perfect family.
