Hajimes pov

I walked through the door after a long day at the office. I expected to be greeted by my adorable husband but I was instead greeted with silence. I sighed. Kazzy must be held up at work. I hope our little girl wasn't left alone too long.

Katherine hinata or as she likes to call herself kat. She's a little girl with pink hair, brown eyes and colourful clothes and a beenie. She's a future hipster in the making!

I found her in the living room reading the shining. I raised an eyebrow. That's some advanced reading for a ten year old!

"hey kiddo" I smiled at her as I took a seat next to her "that's a pretty difficult book you got there. You sure you don't want to try something easier?"

"no its fine. I like to challenge myself" she replied, not even looking up from the book.

"that's my clever girl" I kissed her head gently as I wrapped my arm around her. She snuggled into my side happily.

I cherish these moments with my girl. Cause she's growing up too fast and I know that one day she'll be too big to snuggle with her old man..
