Hajimes pov

I read through the book with determination in my heart. My name is hajime hinata and I'm a student in the reserve course. Most people would be unsatisfied being a normal student but I'm happy. After all I have a friend in natsumi-

"I'm afraid to inform you all that natsumi kuzuryu was found dead in the back room"

I was stunned. Natsumis dead? How can that be? I saw her only yesterday! She was fighting with mahiru like usu- mahiru!

I bolted out of class before my teacher could stop me. I have to talk to mahiru. Maybe she knows what happened-

"hey kid what the hell are you doing" a green haired man asked "that uniform tells me that you're from the reserve corse. Your kind isn't allowed in the main corse"

"please sir I need to get in. There's someone I need to talk to" I tried to push past him only for him to punch me in the stomach.

"I see. You think you're special just because mommy and daddy were willing to pay to let you go to this school" I chuckled "well let me tell you you're not. Your just a worthless little boy pretending to be something bigger than himself. The least you can do is accept that you're worthless and quit trying to drag others down to your level"

"that's enough!" I looked up to see miss yukisone "are you alright hinata?" she held her hand out to me with a worried expression. I slapped it away and ran off.

I'll never be anything worthwhile as long as I'm a reserve corse student. If that's the case I have to become an ultimate no matter what!
