Hajimes pov

I opened the door to my apartment after a long day at future fondation. What I was greeted with was my boyfriends guide dog suki.

"hey suki" I petted the golden retrievers soft fur "do you know where kazzy is?"

She let out a soft bark and ran to the living room where kazuichi was sitting down reading a book (with brail of course!)

"hey suki" kazuichi smiled at the dog "what's gotten you so excited?"

I snuck up behind him and wrapped my arms around him, kissing him all over his adorable little face.

"hehe hajime!" he giggled "that better be you"

"it's me baby" I smiled at him "how did you cope at home alone?"

"oh it was alright" he smiled at me "suki was a great help today weren't you girl?" he petted suki head while suki barked happily "I think I'm finally getting used to being blind"

I sighed. The Neo World Program had the negative effect on kazuichis eyes. He began slowly losing vision over time until he finally went blind. I blame myself. I'm the one who brought the virus in. Maybe if things went the way mokoto wanted then they might have been able to save his eyesight.

"darling I wish I could give you your eyesight back. I'd do anything for that to happen" I said sadly.

"aww don't worry hajime. I'm just grateful to be alive and have a wonderful man like you in my life" he lay his head against my shoulder.

I smiled and kissed the top of his head. I truly am a lucky man.
