Hajimes pov

I fixed my tie with a deep breath. Today's the day I ask kazuichi souda on a date. I've been feeling strange around him recently and after careful consideration I've decided that I'm in love. I don't want to wait around either. We're in the middle of a killing game. I have to do this before I end up losing my chance forever!

I took another deep breath. Ok hajime don't freak out. Just tell him how you feel and if he doesn't like you then just deal with it. There's plenty of fish in the sea..

But no one's like kazuichi.

I sighed and picked up the bocage. Please let this go well!

I knocked on kazuichis cottage door with my heart in my throat. I'm so nervous but I can't back down. I'll only regret it if I don't.

Kazuichi opened the door with a surprised look on his face "hey hajime. What brings you here?"

"Umm I-" I held the bocage out to him "I want to take you on a date if that's ok with you"

He blushed slightly "you mean a man date?"

"no a real date" I muttered nervously.

His face turned even redder "r-really?"

"yeah" I looked down nervously "you don't have to do it if you don't want to-"

"no!" he yelled making me jump "I want to go on a date with you. I've had a crush on you since the beach date. I'm so happy you feel the same way!" he wrapped his arms around me with tears in his eyes.

I could hear cheering behind us. I ignored them however and held my boy close.
