First and foremost, I don't call "writers block" writers block, I call it "Ditch Writing", what is ditch writing?

It's when you've written a chapter or paragraph and now don't know where your going to go next. You've written yourself into a ditch my fine friend, and you don't have any idea one how to get out.

Writers block...doesn't really exist for me, if you're talking about it in the form of coming up with stuff. I spend my life coming up with scenarios and possibilities and fibs, that it would be a great pain to me if I lost it, plus...again, I write everything down as a writer NEVER ERASE, NEVER DELETE. I literally live by that saying, it's saved me on this site a hundred times.

I think in forms of scenes and paragraphs, and moments, I write it down, even a sentence.

I also do this thing, where I'll sit with a note book, and write Idea one, and then come up with a summary, and I'll keep going. It's a way to practice coming up with ideas, as well as keeping me writing in general.

Anywa...writers block, it helps to work out a fresh and active body helps me keep a fresh and opened mind. Nothing like music to give me an idea mid walk, it happens to me all the time...no pen, or paper to be found mind you.

Acting out the scene helps to, seeing it and feeling it makes you think of a natural way to move the scene to the next scene.

Also, never focusing on the book, but the singular moment helps, A LOT!

Moments make a book, not a book. So think in moments, break it down to smaller pieces.

And sometimes simply writing something entirely insane ad ridiculous helps as well, something that makes you the write smile rather than the readers.

...Welp, that's all my advice on ditch writing...SYWAR OUT!
