So as many of you know I am the self proclaimed author LBKeen. I don't pretend to have the perfect grammar nazi credentials that most writers here have. I am a plot kind of girl, along with the love of language. It's all about how you build a scene --tell me the scene is a better way of putting it. 

I just recently read an advise book here on how to get your story featured and on there the author continued  to speak about how asking him for reviews especially if you and said author didn't have some form of comradeship was rude. Of course seeing as he'd written on his page that he wouldn't be taking any request for reviews and the like, I could understand his irritation. 

I think it's rude if you haven't read any of my stories, you should at least know me as a writer before you request me to judge your work.

Honestly, I've been in both places the requesting new author, and the grumpy elder. Reluctant to read a story that I deem beneath my notice (and there have been a few). I won't sit here and pretend that I'll like every story that someone may a send a request for me to read. I may even rant a little bit about your story if I'm really upset about it, especially if it actually is a good idea. ( I will then rail and say, how could they ruin such a good idea!) 

Anyway here are the rules

1. Send me a pm to read your story, and tell me what you want. Do only once. One time ya hear! (if you want help purely with grammar go find a GN. I don't want to be your editor)

2. I will take payment in two forms, a comment or a vote...don't, don't even bother if your not going to do it. I need real feedback like "I hate the mother she's too cynical" not "Good chapter" Anyone can write that. (Up to you which story)

3. If I review, and I like your story I will post it here under it's actual name. I will say what I loved, and what I didn't love. If you don't want that to happen. well you don't want free advertisement and I'm the wrong one to be pm'ing.

4. PATIENTS! I work a 9 to 5 job, and go to college full time. Give me a minute to get it together If I said I was going to do it, give me three days, before you send me another pm. 

I read fantasy, romance, historical romance ( I love it!! but I'm the elder in this be careful when you ask me to read your story in this genre), Vampire (...yeah, I'm a girl too), Werewolf ( still don't understand why this genre is sooo big) and really anything. I'm not a big fan of general fiction  or non-fiction...buuut I make an exception for humor or satire. And obviously a fan of interracial romance but, but I'm not a big fan of rape, if your story has such a scene for the love of god let me know, don't let me walk into it. 

I will send you a pm if I do decide to advertise your story, and will then go through with the payment...no payment, no post.
