SO. You're here 'cause you wanna end it all since shit is just too fucking hard and life sucks, amiright? Well, you're absolutely correct!

However, I can't just let you kill yourself. Yes, I wanna help, but help you get better. 

I understand. I'm suicidal. I'm not one of those people that have no idea what it's like to want to kill yourself, and I'm not one of those people that pretend to understand. I'm that person who gets infuriated listening to people who have never had to suffer the same way, talk about how people who commit suicide are 'freaks'. I'm also not going to be one of those people who are going to tell you to go ahead and kill yourself; people will ABSOLUTELY miss you, people will mourn, and people will want to wonder how they could have helped. 

If you're reading this and you don't wish to commit suicide, you're just a reader of mine or you were thrown off by the title, please understand that if someone entrusts you enough to tell you that they're suicidal, please, please, PLEASE, understand that they've gotten to that point because they're so mentally broken. They feel so overwhelmed that they think that death is the only way out. Be patient with them. Be calm and understanding. Don't panic. They're just as scared. Typically someone who is suicidal doesn't actually want to die; they're just lost, scared, hurt, overwhelmed, and they don't think life will ever get better. You need to assure them that you're there for them. They are vulnerable and they need someone to comfort them. Absolutely DO NOT tell them they're being dramatic, DO NOT tell them you've gone through worse, and DO FUCKING NOT tell them to suck it up. Listen to them. 

If you're someone like me, who has thought suicide is the only way out, it isn't. I get to the point where I think just like you, and that I can't go on anymore. But I'm still young. You're still young. You have your life ahead of you. Look for anything that would keep you going, no matter how dumb it seems to you. Keep going for your pets, keep going for that new episode coming out next week, keep going for that movie you can't wait to see, keep going to see what new and exciting things will happen. 

If you think you're 'too weak' to commit suicide and you're scared; you're wrong. You're so goddamn strong for still being here. I'm so proud of you. I want you to stay here with everyone and tell us what great things you've done and seen. If you end your life now, you'll miss out on so much. You're not broken. You're so strong for continuing to go on no matter how difficult things get. You should be proud for overcoming everyday obstacles. 

I'm going to compare life to a video game here. Many of my readers play Pokemon, and that's probably the best example I have. When you first start out and grab your starter Pokemon, you're young and inexperienced. You get stronger and stronger battle after battle, fight after fight, and sometimes you hit roadblocks. But are you going to quit and never play the game again because you can't beat one gym leader? No. You try harder and harder, and eventually you get past that one fight and it feels so goddamn good. You continue on and you're stronger than you were when you first started out with that level 5 Pokemon. But your battles will never stop, not until you beat the game. And once you do, it feels so fulfilling. Don't you wanna see how it all ends? You're still leveling up, and sometimes you struggle. But if you quit now, you'll never see the end. 

Your fight isn't over. Suicide is never the answer, and that's never how a story ends. Please keep going and see how much stronger you can get. If you can't do it alone, don't be afraid to seek out help. Talk to someone; a doctor, therapist, friends, family, just please, don't think you have to burden all your problems alone. There are people out there who want to see you living your life to the fullest; and there's the chance that you haven't even met them yet. 

Please try to keep focusing on what's in front of you. Don't give up. I'm always here to cheer you on.
