Chapter 2: what happened? Where am I?

Kate: So this is a very special chapter! There will be 2 new arrivals! Here they are! Jayden Miles and Dillan Carter! Kari’s friends! O’s btw they r not mind Midnightpheonix made them all credit foes to her! Here is a little more about them…

The girl is Jayden Miles (Pheonix) and she is 16 with long orange hair and side bangs, she has the power over fire, telepathy, empathy, and telikinsis to an extent. She's a goth and she's nice once you get to know her.

Jayden doesn't like anything girlie, or dressing up, romance (kinda), people who are mean to her friends, being around lots of people. She likes reading, music, gymnastics, her friends, the quiet, being alone or in small groups. She has a crush on Dillan but rarely shows it and won't admit to it.

She was abandoned as a baby because of her powers and left to die. She was taken in my the people of the flames who took her in a raise her, they taught her how to use her powers, but there was an incident the very first time she used them causing her to have two burn marks up each arm which she covers up most of the time unless in hero form. She left home at age 14. and has been on her own since then.  She also has a pheonix birthmark on her lower back. She also likes anything dark

The boy is Dillan Carter (Drago-morph) he's almost 18 he has black hair with red highlights, he has emerald green eyes. His power is shape shifting but only into different types of dragons. He has a dragon tail and pointed ears.

Dillan was an orphan, and scientist found out about, his powers and used him for experiments.

He likes to have fun, helping and protecting his friends, playing his guitar, and messing with Jayden (their still good friends never the less), he also likes parties. He doesn't like bullies, the doctor, reading, anything boring, He’s the only one not affected (in dragon form) from Jayden's flames. He’s usually always in a good mood unless angered or upset.

Kari: sweet! New friends!!!!!!

Jayden: nice to meet ya…

Dillan: hiya! I am happy to be here!

BB: Welcome aboard!

Robin: good to have you here

CY: BOOYA!!! New people!

Raven: I guess it is ok…

Starfire: YAY!!! Welcome! Welcome!!!

Kate: anyways… ENJOY!!! :3

Kari’s P.O.V

~FLASH BACK~ when Kari was 3 (she is originally 15 yrs.)

The three kids on their own where tired, hurt, lost and VERY hungry!! Kari collapsed of exhaustion after about thirty minutes!

“Urg… s-so t-tired... J-Jay, D-Dill can we please rest?” Kari was worn out and her two friends Dillan and Jayden could tell

“All right… Jay let’s make camp here…” Dillan looked at her and she nodded as she went to get some fire wood. Dillan stayed with Kari to change her bandages and stuff

“GAH!!! That hurts!” Kari whimpered, she wasn’t tough, Dillan looked down at the little girl and ruffled her hair to calm her down. Soon Kari’s smooth little cat ears flattened and fluffy tails curled as she fell asleep. Jayden got back a while later and saw that Kari had fallen asleep on Dillan’s lap. She smiled and went over, set the fire wood down and sat next to them.

“Kari looks so peaceful…” she looked down at her friend

“Yeah… she dose…” Dillan picked the little half Demon, or as they liked to call it ‘humanimal” because she was partly human and partly animal, and put her to the side close to the fire, but not too close, and transformed in to a cloud dragon and curled around the youngster. Kari snuggled into him and smiled slightly

“Mom… Dad…” little Kari said in her sleep and this made Jayden and Dillan smile.

~a few days later~

Jayden was pacing back and forth waiting for Dillan while Kari watched blankly

“Where is he?! He said he wouldn’t be long!” Jayden had been waiting for hours for Dillan to come back with some food… she was furious!!

“M-maybe he got caught up in some trouble…” Kari tried to calm down her friend… but it didn’t work

“WHAT?!!”

‘Maybe I shouldn’t have said that…’ Kari was scared then Jayden called her over and said

“Kari I need you to be a big girl and wait here… I’m going to go find Dill… ok?” Jayden and Kari where like sisters… and it ALWAYS hurt Jayden when she had to leave Kari… but despite her age Kari nodded and stayed put

“Jay… please be careful…” Kari’s cute sky-blue eyes tore Jayden apart inside! But she went anyways… (A/N Kari’s eyes turn red when she wants them to)

‘Dillan! You will pay for making me do this!!!!’ Jayden thought to herself as she went after Dillan.

~TIME SKIP~ 25 min. later

“GAH!!!! STOP LET ME GO!!!! STUPID SCIENTISTS!!!!!” Dillan struggled to get free from the plat form he was chained to “LET ME GO!!! I HAVE TO GET BACK!!!!!!! LET ME GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!” but it was silent and nothing could be heard except the sound of machines doing tests and hurting Dillan

“Hmmm… his DNA structure is extraordinary!” said one of the scientists

“I’ve never seen anything like it!!!” said the other

“We must ru--“another started but heard something and stopped…

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

“An explosion!!!”

“Quickly! Evacuate the premises!!”  Everyone ran out then scattered in different directions

*SMACK!!*

“DILLAN WHAT HAPPENED?!!!” Jayden came in all mad

“Sorry Jay… I tried to get free…” Dillan looked at the girl “let’s get back to the camp… ok?”

“… Ok…” the two walked back but when they arrived Kari was gone… she left because she sensed Driz was close and didn’t want her friends to get hurt

“Kari??! KARI?!!!!!” Jayden was on her knees, face in the palms of her hands and crying like crazy! ”K-KARI!!!!!!!” her best friend… little sister… had left without a trace… and no good-bye letter. Dillan tried to comfort her

“Jay… doesn’t worry… we’ll see her again… someday…” he whipped his tears “it is ok… we’ll see her again… I’m sure of it..!”

~END OF FLASH BACK~

I slowly got up and groaned…

“Wh-where am I?” I looked around and then heard the door open

“KARI?!! I-IS THAT REALLY YOU?!!!”

“Kari?!!”

“NO WAY!! DILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JAY!!!!!!!!!!!” I got up and raced towards my BEST friends in the WHOLE world!

“well, looks like you already know Pheonix and Drago-morph,” I heard someone call out

“Ummmm” I looked up “Pheonix? Drago-morph??” Dill and Jay looked at me then at the door

“Kari, we would like for you to meet some people…” they motioned for someone to come in “this is Robin,”

“Hi, nice to meet you” The guy in the mask greeted

“Cyborg,”

“What’s up?” The guy who was half-robot waved

“Starfire,”

“Greetings, it is a pleasure.” The girl with the redish hair bowed

“Raven,”

“Hi…” the girl in the purple cloak said plainly

“And last but not least Beast Boy”

“HIYA!!” The guy with green skin and hair jumped out enthusiastically. I just stared for a while… soon I said

“Hi it is VERY nice to meet you! I am Kari Chiba” I had a BIG smile on my face…

Kate: DAW!!

Kari: hmph…

Jay: Y DID U DO THAT TO ME?!

Dill: uh…

BB: (I’m just gonna stay out of this)

CY: … *walks away before something goes wrong*

Raven: *just watching*
