Once they returned to the apartment, Shu slapped Lui, "What were you doing with him?!" He asked with surprise and a bit of disgust as he didn't like this man.

"Shu, I..." Lui sighed, "I'll go with him to America, okay?"

Shu gasped and refused directly. "You can't! He'll be able to do whatever he wants with you and..." He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. "I'll be alone... Do you really want to abandon me and leave us alone with the others?" He closed his eyes tightly to keep from crying.

Lui took his hand, "I still have to think about the situation but... For your own good, I have to do it."

Shu slapped Lui's hand, "Shut up! Don't say anything else!"

Lui looked down and sighed.

"What's going on here?" Gabe asked as he entered the room.

Shu said nothing and walked out of the room quickly.

Gabe looked at Lui, who sighed. "Leave it. I'll talk with him again when he calms down."

"I'll go talk to him." Said Gabe seriously. "You might be hurting his feelings, so I'll see what's wrong with him."

Lui said nothing. His friend sighed and left to join Shu.

Shirosagi heard his gsm ringing, so he picked up.

FROM GABE AND SHU'S SIDE

"Shu!" He shouted as he went towards him, while Kurenai was sitting on a bench with his head down.

"What do you want?" He asked in a dry tone.

"What happened with Lui? You were arguing..."

"There's nothing." Gabe wasn't convinced. "Nothing I tell you!" He said as he looked at Brunai because he knew Brunai didn't believe him.

"We haven't known each other that long but... I can tell when someone is bad."

"There's nothing." Shu repeated. "He's just an idiot."

"If that's the problem, you'll get used to it."

"He wants to do risky things..." He said with his eyes hidden under his bangs.

"And he told you why?"

"To protect me."

"So that's it..."

"But do you realize!" Shu stood up abruptly. "It seems he thinks I'm a baby and can't defend myself! What am I to him?! A pushover?!"

"Shu, calm down." Said Gabe with a sigh. "Maybe you should talk to him again so he can explain it better."

"You really think he'll want to tell me?"

"You always have to try with him."

"Hm."

"Lui cares about you, and you need to realize that."

"I do, but what he's doing is unacceptable."

"He wants to protect you and he's not stupid about it." He puts his hand on Shu's right shoulder. "He's already protected you before Free, I'm sure he has another plan for Theodore."

"Wait, how do you know Theodore is the problem?" Shu asked with a raised eyebrow.

Gabe sighed, "It's not complicated to know, this guy is looking for trouble and lately he's been coming to the mansion a lot."

Kurenai closed his eyes, "Lui says he's going to accompany her to America but... All I have as justification is that it's for my protection."

"It is that it is."

Shu looked to the side, "I can't be sure but... I..." He clenched his fists, "I have to admit I'm afraid for her safety, more than my own. I've never been to America, I've only ever known poverty... I don't know how He will be treated or how we, we will manage to survive if Free and Valt's men keep looking for us."

"I think..." Gabe looked around a bit blankly. "If Lui agrees, the chase will end."

"Huh?" Shu looked at him.

Gabe nodded, "Their only goal is for you to be away from Lui. They'll get what they want and from there we'll have nothing to fear."

Shu bowed his head and sighed in understanding. "I don't want us to split up..."

"And Theodore will not allow you to follow them to America." Shu nodded his head a little. "I think you should seriously talk with Lui. He must have a plan for this."

"Okay..." Shu sighed silently. "I really hope..."

The Rideout leader acquired.

ON LUI'S SIDE

"Will you go too?" Lui asked, sitting on his bed.

"Yes, and..." He lowered his eyes. "I don't know how to thank you for everything you've done over the years... I... Thank you..."

Lui sniffed, "I really don't want to leave Shu..."

...

"Hm?" Lui looked up at the window. "For that matter, you don't have to know anything."

He sighed and turned off his phone.

A few minutes later, Shu walked in.

"Have you calmed down?" Lui asked, looking towards him.

"If you can say that..." Shu walked over to him and sat down next to him. "I talked to Gabe."

"Oh?"

"And I'd like you to explain to me what your plan is and why you're doing this."

"Shu..."

Kurenai took Lui's hands and intertwined them. He looked into his eyes, which surprised Shirosagi that the boy was so serious about this request. "Explain."

Lui kept his mouth agape for a bit, and then narrowed his eyes a bit, "What you need to know is..." He swallowed the lump in his throat. "Theodore is... My father."

Shu opened his eyes wide, "What do you mean?!" He asked but it wasn't from anger. Just shock. "Did he show you the official papers?"

"Official papers?" Lui looked at him.

Shu nodded, "Yes. I have those too because when we are sold, we have to fill out a form and show our real parents."

"I always thought my real parents were dead..."

"Maybe he's lying to you, and it's a trap!"

"Free confirmed it too, Valt too." Lui looked away. "But anyway, that's not why I'm going to America. I don't care if he's my father or not. To me, he's just a creep who deserves nothing but jail and death."

"Lui..."

"What I want... Is your protection." He looked at Shu. "And for that, I have to leave."

"But me, what would I do without you?" Shu asked, a little desperate.

"For my plan to work, you have to do something." said Lui seriously.

"Huh?"

"You have to become the best."

"The best? I don't understand..."

Lui reached into Shu's pocket and pointed to Spryzen.

"Spryzen?"

Lui nodded and put Spryzen at Shu's heart, "This bey will be one of your keys."

"Key?" Shu repeated to himself.

Shirosagi sighed, "You'll understand when the time comes." He stood up and looked at the sky. "It's time for us to part.." He looked towards Shu and smiled, "I'm sure we'll meet again later... And I know you are capable of succeeding..."

Shu doubted it. He didn't know what Lui meant, so he was lost. He didn't know enough about beyblade yet, and he wasn't powerful enough yet.

"Things come when you need them." Said Lui, with a reassuring smile towards Shu. "Never forget... How much we love each other..." He went to Shu and stroked his cheek. "This is all that will be able to grant us this peace..."

Shu looked up into Lui's eyes, and gasped softly, "I understand..."

Lui smiled and kissed him on the lips.

Kurenai felt that as the last kiss so he replied and let some tears fall. He hoped that everything would be okay...

Une fois retournés à l'appartement, Shu a giflé Lui, "Qu'est-ce que tu faisais avec lui ?!" Il demanda avec surprise et un peu de dégoût car il n'appréciait pas cet homme. 

"Shu, je..." Lui soupira. "Je vais aller avec lui en Amérique, d'accord ?" 

Shu a haleté et a refusé directement. "Tu ne peux pas! Il pourra faire tout ce qu'il veut de toi et..." Il serra les poings et les dents. "Je serai seul... Tu veux vraiment m'abandonner et nous laisser seul avec les autres ?" Il ferma les yeux fermement pour ne pas pleurer. 

Lui lui prit la main, "Je dois encore réfléchir à la situation mais... Pour ton propre bien, je dois le faire."

Shu frappa la main de Lui, "Tais-toi! Ne dis plus rien!" 

Lui baissa le regard et soupira. 

"Qu'est-ce qu'il se passe ici ?" Demanda Gabe en entrant dans la chambre. 

Shu n'a rien dit et est sorti de la chambre rapidement. 

Gabe a regardé Lui, qui a soupiré. "Laisse. Je reparlerai avec lui quand il sera calmé."

"Je vais aller lui parler." Dit Gabe avec sérieux. "Tu es peut-être en train de le blesser, alors je vais voir ce qu'il a."

Lui n'a rien dit. Son ami a soupiré et est parti rejoindre Shu. 

Shirosagi a entendu son gsm sonner, alors il a décroché. 

DU COTE DE GABE ET SHU

"Shu!" Il cria en allant vers lui, alors que Kurenai était assis sur un banc avec la tête basse.

"Qu'est-ce que tu veux ?" Il demanda d'un ton sec. 

"Que s'est-il passé avec Lui ? Vous vous disputiez..."

"Il n'y a rien." Gabe n'était pas convaincu. "Rien je te dis!" Il dit en regardant Brunai car il savait que celui-ci ne l'avait pas cru. 

"On ne se connait pas depuis si longtemps mais... Je peux savoir quand quelqu'un est mal."

"Il n'y a rien." Répéta Shu. "Lui est juste un idiot."

"Si c'est cela le problème, tu t'y habitueras."

"Il veut faire des choses risquées..." Il dit avec son regard caché sous sa frange. 

"Et il t'a dit pourquoi ?"

"Pour me protéger."

"Alors c'est ça..."

"Mais tu te rends compte!" Shu se leva brusquement. "On dirait qu'il pense que je suis un bébé et que je ne peux pas me défendre! Que suis-je pour lui ?! Un boulet ?!"

"Shu, calme toi." Dit Gabe en soupirant. "Peut-être devrais-tu lui reparler pour qu'il t'explique mieux."

"Tu penses vraiment qu'il voudra me dire ?"

"Il faut toujours essayer avec lui."

"Hm."

"Lui tient à toi, et tu dois t'en rendre compte."

"Je le fais mais ce qu'il fait est inadmissible."

"Il veut te protéger et il n'est pas idiot sur cela." Il met sa main sur l'épaule droite de Shu. "Il t'a déjà protégé avant de Free, je suis sûr qu'il a un autre plan pour Théodore."

"Attends, comment sais-tu que c'est Théodore le problème ?" Shu demanda en haussant un sourcil. 

Gabe soupira, "Ce n'est pas compliqué à savoir, ce type cherche les embrouilles et ses derniers temps, il est beaucoup venu au manoir."

Kurenai ferma les yeux, "Lui dit qu'il va l'accompagner en Amérique mais... Tout ce que j'ai comme justification est que c'est pour ma protection."

"C'est que ça l'est."

Shu regarda sur le côté, "Je ne peux pas en être certain mais... Je..." Il serra les poings. "Je dois admettre que j'ai peur pour sa sécurité, plus que la mienne. Je n'ai jamais été en Amérique, je n'ai toujours connu que la pauvreté... Je ne sais pas comment Lui sera traité ou comment nous, nous arriverons à survivre si les hommes de Free et Valt continuent de nous chercher."

"Je pense..." Gabe regarda un peu dans le vide. "Si Lui accepte, la poursuite se mettra fin."

"Hein ?" Shu le regarda. 

Gabe hocha la tête, "Leur seul but est que tu sois loin de Lui. Ils auront ce qu'ils voudront et de là, nous n'aurons plus rien à craindre."

Shu baissa la tête et soupira en comprenant. "Je ne veux pas que nous nous séparions..."

"Et Théodore ne te permettra pas de les suivre en Amérique." Shu hocha la tête un peu. "Je pense que tu devrais sérieusement parler avec Lui. Il doit avoir un plan pour cela."

"D'accord..." Shu soupira silencieusement. "J'espère vraiment..."

Le chef de Rideout acquisea. 

DU COTE DE LUI

"Tu iras aussi ?" Demanda Lui, assit sur son lit. 

...

"Oui, et..." Il baissa les yeux. "Je ne sais pas comment te remercier pour tout ce que tu as fait durant ces années... Je... Merci..."

...

Lui renifla, "Je ne veux vraiment pas quitter Shu..."

...

"Hm ?" Lui leva les yeux vers la fenêtre. "Pour ce sujet, tu n'as rien à savoir."

...

Il soupira et éteignit son téléphone. 

Quelques minutes plus tard, Shu entra. 

"Tu es calmé ?" Demanda Lui en regardant vers lui. 

"Si l'on peut dire ça..." Shu alla vers lui et s'assit à côté. "J'ai parlé à Gabe." 

"Ah ?"

"Et je voudrais que tu m'expliques quel est ton plan et pourquoi tu fais ça."

"Shu..."

Kurenai prit les mains de Lui et les entrelaça. Il le regarda dans les yeux, ce qui surpris Shirosagi que le garçon soit aussi sérieux sur cette demande. "Explique-moi."

Lui a gardé un peu sa bouche bée, et puis a baissé un peu les yeux, "Ce que tu dois savoir, c'est que..." Il avala la boule dans sa gorge. "Théodore est... Mon père."

Shu ouvrit grand les yeux, "Comment ça ?!" Il demanda mais ce n'était pas de colère. Juste de choc. "T'a-t-il montré les papiers officiels ?"

"Papiers officiels ?" Lui le regarda. 

Shu hocha la tête, "Oui. J'ai ça aussi car quand on est vendu, il faut remplir une fiche et montrer nos vrais parents."

"J'ai toujours pensé que mes vrais parents étaient morts..."

"Peut-être qu'il te ment, et que c'est un piège!" 

"Free l'a confirmé aussi, Valt aussi." Lui détourna le regard. "Mais de toute manière, ce n'est pas pour cela que je vais en Amérique. Je m'en fou de si il est mon père ou pas. Pour moi, ce n'est qu'un sale type qui ne mérite que la prison et la mort."

"Lui..."

"Ce que je veux... C'est ta protection." Il regarda Shu. "Et pour cela, je dois partir."

"Mais moi, qu'est-ce que je ferais sans toi ?" Demanda Shu, un peu désespéré. 

"Pour que mon plan fonctionne, tu dois faire quelque chose." dit Lui sérieux. 

"Hein ?"

"Tu dois devenir le meilleur."

"Le meilleur ? Je ne comprends pas..."

Lui fouilla dans la poche de Shu et montra Spryzen. 

"Spryzen ?" 

Lui hocha la tête et mit Spryzen au niveau du coeur de Shu, "Cette bey sera une de tes clés."

"Clé ?" Se répéta Shu. 

Shirosagi soupira, "Tu comprendras au moment venu." Il se leva et regarda le ciel. "Il est temps pour nous de se séparer.." Il regarda vers Shu et sourit, "Je suis sûr que nous nous retrouverons plus tard... Et je sais que tu es capable de réussir..."

Shu en doutait. Il ne savait pas ce que Lui voulait dire, alors il était perdu. Il ne connait pas encore assez le beyblade et n'est pas encore assez puissant. 

"Les choses viennent quand on en a besoin." Dit Lui, avec un sourire rassurant envers Shu. "N'oublie jamais... Combien nous nous aimons..." Il alla vers Shu et lui caressa la joue. "C'est tout ce qui pourra nous accorder cette paix..."

Shu a regardé vers les yeux de Lui, et a haleté doucement, "Je comprends..."

Lui a souri et l'a embrassé sur les lèvres. 

Kurenai a senti cela comme le dernier baiser alors il a répondu et a laissé quelques larmes couler. Il espère que tout ira bien...
