****** ALEXIS' P.O.V. ******

  So turns out I didn't end up finding out what they were talking about right away. The second I was going to see what was so important the doorbell rang. Then I thought why should I even care who they like? If they can get a guy and go move in with him then I'm free! So who cares.

I walked to the door and opened it. Sure enough, it wasn't Taylor or Breanna.

"James?" I said as he appeared in the doorway in his usual pizza boy work clothes.

"Hey did you order the meat supreme?" He asked with a questioning look on his face because he knows I normally don't get that kind of pizza.

"No that's not mine. Here give me a second." I said and let him come inside.

"Sure thing," James said and stood awkwardly by the front door.

"Amber? Tiffany? Did you order pizza?" I asked loudly.

"Yes. We're coming give us a second, jeez you're so needy!" Amber said and I shook my head and smiled at the pizza boy.

"Sisters?" He said with a confused face.

"Oh god no! There actually my soon to be step sister's." I said and he laughed.

Then, sure enough, Amber came down the hall.

"Yeah here keep the change." She said as she threw James thirty dollars and ran back down the hall.

"Wait, miss, you gave me twenty dollars extra!" He said as he looked down at the money in his hands.

"Don't worry about it, keep it, you deserve it!" I said and he smiled.

"You sure?" He asked and I nodded.

"Ok, well I'll see you around and thanks again." He said before hoping in his car and driving away.

Just when he was driving around the roundabout I saw Breanna pulling up towards the house.

Thank god! I don't think I could take another second trapped in the house with these two any longer.

"Hey!" They said as they got out of her silver BMW and walked over to me.

"Hey! I'm so glad you guys could come. Come on in." I said as I opened the door more so they could come inside.

"Is that Emma?" I heard a voice say from behind me so I turned around.

When I saw who was speaking it was Tiffany. Only she was in complete shock mode and was staring at Breanna.

"Hey, Tiffany," Breanna said as she waved to her with a smile. But instead of saying hi or even smiling Tiffany just walked away.

"Ok, that was weird!" Breanna said as she turned back to me.

"What was?" I said still not sure what Breanna was talking about. Tiffany from what I gathered in the last two days was always like that to people.

"I just said hi to Tiffany and she totally ignored me!" She said and I laughed.

"Oh trust me that's not weird. She's just like that. I thought you guys would have known that after dealing with her insanity for all these years. Please teach me how you do it!" I said and she shook her head.

"No I know, I just thought she would have said hi back. We use to be friends." Breanna said and I almost wanted her to repeat what she said so I knew what I heard was correct.

"Friends? Wait. What!" I said totally shocked from head to toe.

"Yeah..." Breanna said slowly whilel she looked at the ground.

"You were friends with... That!" I said as I pointed to Breanna then down the hall to where Tiffany sat in the living room.

"Yeah, crazy I know." She said and I shook my head.

"Try insane! What happened?" I asked really curious about this whole ordeal.

"Well, we were best friends. Tiffany, Amber and me. We did everything together and then their mom died and they completely shut me out." She said sounding kind of sad about the whole thing.

"Wait their mom died!?" I said in shock. That's terrible! Why didn't my mom tell me? Wait am I seriously asking myself that right now! She didn't even tell me that Amber and Tiffany existed, so why would I expect her to tell me that.

"Yeah about two years ago." She said sadly.

"Wow, I had no idea!" I said feeling bad for her.

"I'm not surprised most people had no idea." She said as I grabbed my coat and keys.

"Did she ever explain why she shut you out," I asked.

"Nope. She just stopped talking to me one day and ever since then, I guess she's still not talking to me. I'm not sure if I did anything or what." She said and I immediately knew it was nothing she could have done.

"No, I don't think you did. It's probably just her." I said and she smiled sadly.

"I don't know... I just hope she's ok." She said as she looked down the hall.

"She seems like it!" I said as I heard them laugh from down the hall.

"Yeah, she does. And don't worry Breanna, if anything they should be the ones missing you! You were always so nice to them, and they were nothing but spoiled brats!" Taylor agreeing with what I was saying and at the same time trying to make her feel better.

Breanna smiled. "Thanks, guys. As much as the circumstances suck, I'm still glad you moved here Alexis." Breanna said and I ran over to her and gave her a hug.

"Same," I said before pulling Taylor into what was now a group hug.

"Ok, so did you want to go get some food? It's on me by the way." I said as I showed her the hundred dollars my mom gave me.

"Jeeez!" They said as they gave the hundred dollar bill wide eyes.

"Come on let's go," I said laughing and shut the door behind us.

Wow, who knew they were friends? This is crazy. Could that be why she is so mean to me? But that doesn't make sense. Why would she take it out on me like that? There has to be some other explanation for all this.

"So where did you guys want to go?" I asked as we stepped into her car.

"We could go to the boat side grill," Taylor said and I gave her a confused face.

"The what-what grill?" I asked and they laughed.

"The boat side gill. Everyone from school hangs out there after school. They have amazing food and they also have pool tables." Breanna said and I nodded my head.

"I've always wanted to learn how to play pool," I said and they laughed.

"Oh god. Well, I'm sorry to burst your bubble but I suck at pool. I have no idea how to play." Breanna said and I laughed.

"Great! You are so helpful." I said as I nudged her as we started making our way towards the road.

"I try." She said and we laughed.

"Well lucky for us, there are a lot of hot guys there to help us," Taylor said with a flirty wink.

"Well let's go there maybe they have air hockey or that miniature soccer game," I said and they gave me an odd look.

"You mean football?" Taylor said and I shook my head.

"Oh come on you know what I mean!" I said and she smiled.

"Do I? Do I really?" She said and I nudged her again.

"Oh shut up and drive," I said teasing her and we turned on the radio.
